Ce magnifique bungalow climatisé comprend 2 chambres queen, chacune avec sa propre salle de bain privée. Les lits queen-size ont des surmatelas en mousse à mémoire de forme fraîche qui offrent un sommeil nocturne très confortable et relaxant. Une grande pièce et une cuisine partagent la zone centrale entre les 2 chambres. Cette maison offre tous les derniers appareils et équipements comme indiqué sur les photos prises en juillet 2019.

Portes et fenêtres coulissantes teintées bronze Reflètent 80% de la chaleur UV tout en laissant entrer la lumière. La teinte miroir bronze garde non seulement la maison au frais mais offre intimité et sécurité.

La maison comprend toutes les commodités modernes, y compris barbecue / grill, buanderie, cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle et micro-ondes.

Le porche couvert avant offre un espace ombragé idéal pour le dîner et les boissons. Les portes coulissantes de chaque chambre mènent à des chaises et une table confortables pour une chaise matinale et un café où vous pourrez profiter de regarder les nombreux palmiers souffler dans la brise chaude.

La maison est équipée d'Internet 4G-LTE WF-FI pour votre usage. Un écran plat de 40 pouces - une télévision connectée avec lecteur DVD est également disponible pour votre divertissement personnel.

De nouveaux draps et serviettes sont inclus et sont continuellement remplacés régulièrement.

Notre magnifique bungalow n'est qu'à quelques pas d'un chemin d'accès à court terme vous menant à l'une des plages les plus spectaculaires de l'île. Les eaux calmes de la plage de Ten Bay offrent baignade, plongée en apnée, pêche aux os et bombardements. Assurez-vous de ne pas manquer un coucher de soleil que vous n'oublierez jamais.

Love Ten Bay

A great place for two couples. Well equipped, convenient, and friendly. Would recommend to those who want a quiet location very close to a beautiful beach.

Family vacation

Peaceful palms is an excellent location on Eleuthra, the house is wonderful for two couples, our adult son and his girlfreind were with us and we had plenty of room. Planning on coming back again soon. Tens Beach is a short walk away with hardly anyone on it. Highly recommend staying here.Thanks Karen and Jim for having this wonderful place.

Exceptional

Everything was exactly as described, just better! The rooms and porch are spacious and comfortable. Short walk to the beach is shaded and pleasant; perfect beach for small children. Walkable neighborhood with no traffic. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful. Close to groceries (Midway Cost Cutter and Island Farm are a five minute drive and a new grocery store is opening soon in Gov Harbor). We look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Peaceful Palms. It is a calm place. The house is spotless and very well equipped. The bedding is comfortable. It is easy to communicate with the owner. It is really close to a wonderful beach. We recommend this house and for sur we will go back.

Beautiful property, well maintained, very quiet, short walk to a gorgeous beach. Only challenge during our stay was a very flaky power grid causing long outages 5 days out of 7. Hosts may consider back up generator.

Wonderful Time at Peaceful Palms

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Peaceful Palms. The home is clean, completely furnished with everything we needed, private and spacious. We walked to Ten Bay beach (about 1 min) most days - spectacular and at most a half dozen people way off in the distance. Reasonably stocked grocery store a short drive away (Midway Cost Cutter) and Island Farms produce not far the other direction. Overall highly recommend! Thank you Karen and Jim for a fantastic visit!

Awesome Holiday in Paradies

100% Perfect Organization because of Karen and Jim and housekeeper Sherman.The Cottage was a dream,nothing was missing,everything works,very tasteful rooms,all very clean,better than discribed before we were flashed to see the cottage. Beach is only 2 Minutes away,beautiful beach,mostly nobody there. There is absolutely no negative point to say! Ten Bay is also in the middle of the island so everything was perfect to reach! We will come back to Karen and Jims Dream Cottage in Paradies. Cheers Frank and Petras

Wonderful hideaway

The Perfect Home for Two Couples. “Beautiful Ten Bay Bungalow” says it all! This house was extremely comfortable for ourselves and our friends. The two bedrooms with their own ensuite are separated by the great room and kitchen, providing complete privacy. The air conditioned bedrooms, ceiling fans and comfortable beds allowed for a great night’s sleep. For two couples, we could not have asked for anything more. The owners have done a great job ensuring the kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and all the amenities required. The full laundry room was a great bonus and the Smart TV gave the 4 of us the opportunity to watch a show on Netflix . The owners were very helpful and their Hospitality Information Package was useful guiding us around the island. It was so nice to bring along the beach chairs, coolers and snorkeling gear on our daily adventures. We look forward to returning to “Beautiful Ten Bay Bungalow” in the future.

Ten Bay Triumph

What a beautiful home! Every possible need one would have is met! Great bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen SO well equipped, water toys abundantly provided and of course just steps away from the amazing Ten Bay Beach. The Beach Book by Bret Sigillo and Gunnar Ek was a great item left at the home. We utilized it to it's fullest traveling the central and lower section of Eleuthera. If you want to walk beautiful beaches [besides Ten Bay of course] this book is your guide. Coordinates are given and great reviews that both very accurate. Meeting the fishermen at the dock in Governor's Harbour offered fresh fish and conch each day. Our experience was to get there by 2 pm or so - 3 pm was a bit too late. Conch Salad prepared right in front of you is something not to be missed. Karen and Jim were communicating regularly and genuinely concerned that everything was there for us. Sherman was also available as needed and has great stories!

Even Better The Next Time - Ten Bay!

Even better the second time!! My husband and I have been fortunate to be able to return to “Beautiful Ten Bay Bungalow” and, YES, it was even better the second time. Once again, the owners were extremely helpful and promptly answered all of our questions. Contacts and Points of Interest were perfectly outlined in their information package. Their pride of ownership is evident as the house is spotless. The bedrooms have been tastefully painted, beds, new linens, and towels provided were extremely comfortable. The tinted windows provided privacy and the addition of the Smart TV, gave us the opportunity to watch Netflix, other apps, and listen to our local radio stations, topping off our enjoyable days. Our second vacation at the well planned construction of this lovely home, with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, and two private bedrooms with their own en-suites, at a perfect beach location was remarkable. We love Eleuthera, Ten Bay, and fully intend to return to our favourite and most welcoming house. Doug & Paula

Fantastic rental and stay!

The property is absolutely perfect! I would not hesitate in recommending it for your stay. In fact, it's probably one of the nicest properties we've ever experienced when renting from HomeAway or their competing sites. It's situated just about a 3 minute walk from the beautiful Ten Bay, and is Central to Eleuthera which we thought was perfect for exploring the entire island. One of the islands better markets, Cost Cutters, is only a short drive South, and Governor's Harbour is about 20 minutes away. We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the property when we first arrived, and were even more happy when we toured a couple of the surrounding rental properties and saw the state that they were in. Pride of ownership really shows with Karen's property. We rented a vehicle from the property caretaker, Sherman, and he was most welcoming and informative during our drive from GHB to the property (30 mins). He was also very responsive when we had to call him for advice. The property is furnished nicely with most kitchen accessories, new appliances, TV, internet worked well, inflatable water toys, snorkel gear, beach towels, etc. Don't even think twice when considering this property if it's available for your stay. You wont be disappointed!

The Ten Bay house was comfortable, beautifully maintained and well outfitted.

We appreciated the chance to stay at Ten Bay Bungalow for seven nights. Kitchen was well outfitted, 'frig/freezer clean and reliable, gas grill a wonderful accessory (especially during two days of spotty electricity...), beds and baths comfortable and luxurious, respectively, and setting very private and relaxing. As other visitors have noted, Wi-Fi worked reliably but some TV functions were unavailable -- namely Netflix. We were tech-savvy enough to handle it but bandwidth was unadequate to ever load and view a feature on NF (YouTube & others worked fine.) Not a deal-buster for us but disappointing. Had we known, we'd have brought and left behind DVDs for others. Only suggestions might be to add a bookshelf for donated pb's and DVDs, add a sheet-, loaf- and pie pan for those who like to cook. A pizza cutter would have been nice and a new can-opener is needed. (Our Leatherman filled the bill however...) Thanks for the insulated coolers and lawn chairs. We really appreciated them. Nearby beach was wonderful.

You won't regret it!!

You feel invited and welcome by the front deck of this home, the minute you enter the driveway. Even more so as you enter the house and observe how bright, spacious, clean & well equipped the house is. ( There's a big pot for cooking the fresh lobsters we scored at the docks of Governor' s Harbour.) Sherman graciously met us at the airport & helped us to settle in. Also shared his home grown tomatoes with us. He was available to help us at any time! The house was less than a 5 min walk to a lovely fine sand beach, where the ocean was clear, calm & shallow. Great for seeing star fish, sand dollars and for snorkelling along the rocky edges. The central location on Eleuthera meant we could drive to all points on the island with relative ease, tho finding some beach accesses was a bit trickly due to lack of signs. Our hosts were very helpful in this regard as they had several info books at the house, about: the 134 beaches, the trees/flowers, the fish & the birds. Loved it! Our hosts were quick to respond to any communication, & took the time to check in with us. Hey guys, we enjoyed watching the "Beverly Hillbilly's" dvd's. They were a blast!! Without the sand flies ( which seemed to only bother us 'chicks') you would think this place is heaven.

My Favourite

Ten Bay is my favourite beach. It’s the most family friendly beach on the island, in a protected cove, with waters so shallow and gentle that it’s so safe for little ones and old ones too. When the waves are thrashing, wind is blowing and it feels chilly on the Atlantic side, I can always count on Ten Bay on the Caribbean side to be calm. It can look different depending on the day or time of day you see it. During low tide, I’ve seen it covered with sand dollars and starfish. I brought my senior parents to Eleuthera for their first visit. I chose this Ten Bay property because it was a bungalow, near a calm shallow beach and centrally located. After looking at the various properties at Ten Bay, this one was definitely the best choice for our needs. Being a new property was a big bonus – everything was spotless, and in perfect condition. The house had everything that we needed to cook meals at home and relax on the great deck. The kitchen was well equipped and I was able to bake homemade breads and pizzas, and make some fantastic dishes with the fresh caught seafood from the dock. After visiting some of the Atlantic side beaches and scrambling to pick my parents up after they were constantly knocked over by rogue waves (bad knees – they can’t get up on their own), they wanted to retreat back to Ten Bay as quickly as possible! I was personally happy with Ten Bay as our base beach, since I felt comfortable leaving my parents sitting on the beach, while I snorkeled around… saw bonefish, stingrays and sea urchins. Ten Bay’s proximity between Central and South Eleuthera is ideal. It is near Island Farm, which has a great selection of local produce, including homemade jams, cooking sauces, salad dressings, fire-roasted salsas, etc. There’s also Mate & Jenny’s pizza place nearby, a host of little grocery and eating places in Palmetto point, and in the south, they have the large Rock Sound grocery store and more great amenities. It’s also easy to get to Governor’s Harbour, where they have the Friday Night Fish Fry street party and Bristol’s wine store (great selection). I’m so glad that I chose this property! The property and location were a large part of the reason my parents had such a wonderful and memorable first visit to Eleuthera. They talk about it all the time and they keep asking for their next visit! Amazing value intro rate (cheaper than a cottage back home)! The owners, Jim and Karen, were a true pleasure to deal with.

Perfect location .

At Ten Bay Beach and 4 minutes away from Groceries, Bakery and Fresh produce. House was extremely comfortable and convenient. Host was very gracious and helpful in responding to our questions. There were plenty of beach toys, chairs and snorkel gear. Water comes from a cistern and it was easy to be careful and not overdo use. There were no problems.

Great location just a short walk to Ten Bay beach.

Wonderful comfortable home with great mattresses and at the midway point on Eluethra. Minutes drive to midway convenient store that is very well stocked. 15 minutes to Governors for restaurants. Can have air conditioning or open the windows for fresh air. Snorkeling equipment, lots of beach chair choices and floats. Such a comfortable home. Would highly recommend for a couple, couples or family.

Wonderful spot

My husband and I stayed at Peaceful Palms for eight nights. The property, as others have noted, is just as advertised and (in my opinion) even a bit better than expected. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, super responsive owner, and caretaker nearby for any needs. The nearby beach is lovely and a very short walk across the road. The house is near a number of other beaches (20 minutes or less) and restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking. Highly recommended!

Paradise at Peaceful Palms

My husband and I are so happy we found Peaceful Palms. It is a lovely rental. The home is spacious, well-equipped, the WiFi is top-notch and the hosts were helpful and friendly. Sherman greeted us, and he brought fresh vegetables to us during our stay. The calm, turquoise water of Ten Bay beach is a very short walk from the home. It’s visible from the back porch. It’s apparent the property is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. We will be back. Cheers to a memorable stay at Peaceful Palms.

What a wonderful house to stay in! So close to Ten Bay Beach. Clean and well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Palms. Went to Ten Bay Beach everyday. Sunsets were awesome. House was clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone coming to Eleuthera.

Paradise for sure!

Peaceful Palms was just as the name suggests — very peaceful. It was a wonderful place and would definitely stay here again. The house was very clean, very close short walk to the beautiful Ten Bay beach, close to groceries, close to the Island Farm market for fresh baked bread on Tuesday’s and Friday’s, and a short 10 minute drive to La Bougainvillea resort where I enjoyed using the pool on several occasions. The owners, Karen and Jim and caretaker Sherman, were all wonderful. Very supportive, responsive and helpful. Thank you so much for the use of your place.

Our first trip to Eleuthera was in 2009 and we immediately fell in love with the island. The beaches, blue water, love and kindness of the locals made it an easy decision to to buy property and build our home.

Karen, originally from Scotland, loves the sun and ocean while Jim enjoys fishing and exploring the many beautiful beaches. During a trip in 2014 we rescued a little dog 'potcake' as they are called in the Bahamas. She now lives with us and her 2 brothers in Canada and is healthy and happy.

Ten Bay will always be special to us and we strive to ensure our guests enjoy their stay in Eleuthera and at Peaceful Palms as much as we do.

A short, 1 minute walk to Ten Bay Beach and centrally located on the island allowing you to easily explore the 130 plus beaches of Eleuthera. Pink sand beaches on the Atlantic side and sparkling white sand of the Caribbean. You have to be there to believe it !!
