Très confortable 1 ch, 1 cabine de 5 ba. Grande cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle. Salon TVHD, wifi et lecteur DVD. Salle à manger avec une vue magnifique. 2 grands porches, belles vues dans toutes les directions. À distance de marche de l'entrée ouest du parc (vraiment, pas une longue marche non plus!).
Spa jacuzzi 21 jets. Barbecue extérieur au charbon et foyer au feu de chiminea. Matelas en mousse mémoire Queen. Le matelas pneumatique s'intègre parfaitement dans le salon pour accueillir 2 personnes supplémentaires.
Refroidissement par évaporation centrale. Réchauffeur au propane.
La propriété jouxte des centaines d'acres de terres vierges et non développées gérées par le Mojave Desert Land Trust.

Location to entrance was wonderful! The hot tub is well maintained and a perfect way to end the day. Bed was very comfortable and the place has everything you may need. Hosts were super quick and responsive with all communication. Great stay overall.

We love this place and come every spring. Ideal location near park entrance and backed by BLM land where you can walk or mountain bike in right behind the house. Well-stocked kitchen and great sunset view from porch swing. Eric and Vandy are swift and helpful in their responses. This year's perk was a desert tortoise hanging out by the hot tub for a number of hours.

Great location

We stay here every year. In addition to being very close to the park entrance, you can walk into the desert on BLM land right behind the house and enjoy great hikes and mountain biking.

Great location

The house is well equipped and well positioned and great for a park visit. Good cooking facilities and good to have the extra toilet. Backs onto a wilderness area which is a bonus.

Great place to relax

Fabulous place to relax in hot tub or watching the sunset. We also hike in from wash right behind the property and enjoy very uncrowded trails. Owners are prompt, helpful and kind.

This was a very nice house right off the western entrance to Joshua Tree, with an amazing kitchen and great view of the desert beyond.

Main issue was filth - all drawers in kitchen filthy, pots and pans beyond worn out, pepper and other spices expired years ago, hair and dust on floors, shades. Some shades broken. Front door lock very difficult- the #4 worked after 20 tries - I could say more - but best to say - I would not recommend it.

Great house and location

The house is about a mile from the west entrance to Joshua Tree so getting into and out of the park is very convenient. The house is very spacious and comfy. It was cold so we didn't sit outside, next time I look forward to just rocking in the swing, looking at the stars and the mountains. The hosts were super responsive and nice. It was a pleasure staying in the Casita del Conejo.

Cozy Casita Conejo!!

Had a wonderful 5-day stay at the Casita Conejo! Location is right at the entrance of JTNP. Wonderful yard with great views, awesome hot tub, chiminea, lighted bird bath, swing and access to quail springs wash! Great amenities with spacious well-stocked kitchen. Nice patios with sliding door screens for cool desert breezes through the house! Owners friendly and accessible. All you need for a fantastic vacay awaits at Casita Conejo! Can’t wait to return!!!

Wellness Week!

We loved the location of the property in relation to the west entrance to the national park entrance and also so close to the main street in Joshua Tree. There are places to relax and enjoy the beauty of the land from all sides of the property. My family was able to easily get to the national park for hikes and rock climbing, enjoy the incredible quiet of the desert on the property of the house and then, if we needed to get to a store we had close by options. If you like to cook and plan to be there for a week, bring a good pot and a good pan. Other than that it's just amazing. Thank you!!! :)

Desert magic

My boyfriend and I were celebrating my birthday weekend. The house was so cozy and the property was amazing! Everything we could have needed was provided, and everything was exactly as described. This romantic weekend ended in a proposal! We will definitely be back to celebrate anniversaries!

Great Home & Location!

We loved our stay at this house. The listing is absolutely accurate with how close you will be to the west entrance of Joshua Tree NP! The views all around the house are gorgeous, spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying both the sunrises and sunsets. We have a little dog and she enjoyed exploring the property as well. Note, there are no fences, so if your dog isn't trained off leash & needs to be fenced in, just beware. Everything in the house is very comfortable. And if I needed anything, the hosts responded very very quickly. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of cleanliness of the dishes/utensils/pots/pans/etc. I didn't have an issue cleaning everything before using it...but didn't expect to see crusted food on almost everything I took out of cupboards/drawers. Regardless of that, I still give this property 5 stars because it was a fabulous stay & would certainly stay here again!

Thank you for the review and for being so understanding about the dishes. We have gone through and made sure everything is clean. Cleaning service did not realize the prior guests had left things that way, and they check every time now. Appreciate the feedback.

Great place to stay to chill in the dessert.

. Casita del Conejo is located very close to the entrance of the park and backs up to an open swath of dessert. It is comfortable and well appointed. There are a number of places to sit outside and enjoy the warm breezes, dramatic sunsets and most of all — the amazing display of stars at night.

Peaceful desert respite

As someone who has been coming to Joshua Tree for many years and knows the park well, I loved staying somewhere that abutted preserve land via a wash. We could hike many miles into the park from our 'back yard' without ever getting into the car. Great westward evening view. Having a hot tub was also a plus. Eric and Vandy were extremely helpful and responsive. Kitchen allowed for actual cooking, with the much-appreciated inclusion of little things that end up making a big diffence like tupperware containers, graters and plastic bags. Proximity to the road didnt bother us and wasn't loud.

Very nice little house, everything you need, 1/2 mile from park entrance. Vandy, and Eric are great hosts, we had a small issue and they were right on it and took care of it and ensured we had a great stay, which we did. We will certainly stay here again on our next trip to Joshua Tree.

Wonderful place!

We made a short trip from San Diego to do some stargazing and photography. We both had a great time. The property was clean and easy to get to—it is right at the Park entrance. The back yard is beautiful with plenty of places to sit and relax. The hot tub was a definite bonus too! Eric and Vandy are very responsive and positive people. Charging my Tesla Model S was really easy with the built in L2 charger. Highly recommend!

Joshua Tree escape

Cute cozy house in amazing location very close to Joshua Tree NP entrance and backed up to land conservancy property with trails. Great views from multiple porches. Nice kitchen for cooking all our meals. Owners are very responsive for questions. Made for a great escape!

Memorable Getaway during Covid times

We rented the home for my birthday weekend in early December. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The home was absolutely delightful, practical, and VERY clean. It was ideal for my husband, me, and our two pups. We enjoyed the hot tub each night, and when there was an issue with it, Vandy was incredibly helpful and prompt with assistance. We have an electric car so the EV charger was such a helpful HUGE added bonus. The property is also very conveniently super close to the park entrance. I couldn't believe it. I have confidently suggested this property to friends, family, and co-workers and this would be the only place to stay if (or when!) I were coming back to Joshua Tree. Our little getaway was very memorable and we are super grateful to our lovely hosts! Thank you!! :)

We are a working couple living in Ventura county. We love Joshua Tree and have family ties there. While there for a visit, we came across the opportunity to buy this cabin and could not pass it up. The property has such a great location and great feeling and is very close to our family and friends' places. We hope our guests get as much enjoyment from their time there as we do.
