Flat in a villa in the heart of Tuscany, immersed in the nature of the Casentino countryside amidst organic crops for a peaceful and regenerating stay.
The flat covers an area of about 60 square metres, totally on the ground floor of an old building dating back to 1800, where the owners live on the upper floor. The flat can accommodate up to three guests and has two independent entrances: from the kitchen and from the living room. The cosy and characteristic kitchen is equipped with a five-burner cooker, an extractor hood, an electric oven, a sink, a fridge-freezer and countertops. The living room is furnished with two armchairs, a cast-iron wood-burning stove, satellite TV, a dining table, chairs and an antique glass cabinet. The double bedroom and single bedroom have a window that can be darkened. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. The flat is equipped with all the necessary linen.
A private patio is available for guests of the flat, equipped with a barbecue and a flower bed with organic spices to prepare delicious grills. There is also a table, chairs, a sun umbrella and sun loungers to enjoy the sun and the view of the flower garden. On the border of the property runs the Arno river, where you can enjoy beautiful walks.
The owners personally welcome guests and are available for any needs during the holiday. They also offer their guests jams of their own production, together with precious saffron pistils. Bread service is available on request (from Monday to Saturday, with payment and purchase order on site). The use of heating is included in the rent. Pets are not allowed. This flat is suitable for people from 12 years of age.Heating included in the price for stays up to 4 nights.
There is a private swimming pool about 2 km away. Guests can swim in the river a few minutes away. The Adriatic Sea is approx. 90 minutes away and the Tyrrhenian Sea is approx. 120 minutes away by car. It is possible to bathe in the lake, which is approx. 1.5 km from the centre of the village of Pratovecchio, or in the river Arno. The town centres of Pratovecchio and Poppi are about 3 km away. Excursions can be made to the Poppi Zoo Park, the Verna Sanctuary, the Camaldoli Hermitage and the Casentino National Forest Park. Florence is an hour's drive away, Arezzo is 40 minutes away and Siena 90 minutes. From Arezzo it only takes an hour and 5 minutes to get to Rome by fast train, so day trips to the capital are also possible.
