We offer a very comfortable holiday home, once a pilgrims' inn on the Via Francigena and later a farmhouse serving the nearby Spedaletto Castle. The house probably dates back to the 13th or 14th century, although unfortunately we have no official documentation. The first official documents mentioning the farmhouse date back to the 16th century.
The holiday house, an independent part of a larger farmhouse separated by a wall, has a beautiful swimming pool (12 x 6 metres, open from May to September), a large landscaped garden, a children's playground, a barbecue area and Wi-Fi. The villa, originally built over 500 years ago and renovated several times, is now a very comfortable accommodation for discerning guests. It is very well furnished, elegant and offers all modern conveniences. It is spread over two floors. The ground floor includes a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and the reception area. An external staircase leads to the first floor: a beautiful and spacious living room with dining area and kitchen (not separate). The house consists of a living room with satellite TV and a fireplace; three double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom with shower (one of which has a hydro-massage shower). Shops, a supermarket and a restaurant are about 4-6 km away.
Thanks to its location close to some of Tuscany's most charming villages, such as Pienza (6 km), San Quirico (6 km), Bagno Vignoni (4 km, home of the famous Roman baths) and Montalcino (18 km), as well as immersed in the beautiful landscape of the Val d'Orcia, the house is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday in an environment rich in history and with breathtaking views.
