The village of EygaliĂšres, located at the foot of Les Alpilles mountains, is the ultimate Provence experience.
Pretty, honey-stone village houses, with olive green shutters and terracotta roofs, can be glimpsed through neat cypress hedging and wrought-iron gates, while a trickling fountain in the main square is the only sound to be heard during the height of a summer mid-afternoon. Most of the animation is saved for mornings, with the daily collection of pastries and baguettes from the boulangerie, or lunchtimes and evenings, when the leafy restaurant terraces with chalk board menus hum with diners.
Nested in the village is the Mas Nasté a hidden gem offering a peaceful retreat with all quintessence of Provence way of live.
Mas Nasté is a smart and modern fully renovated property looking like a ancient Provence mas with views. Offering multiple terraces and patios perfect for chilling, reading or entertaining, with a large 10x5 swinning pool and a Spa surrounded with large sunbathing aeras and classical Provencal planting including ancient olive trees, almond trees, cigar cypress and gorgeous jasmine plants with fragrant white flowers.
