We had a great two week stay at Villa Paradiso, very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The villa is in a stunning location in the wooded hills above Pula with great views to the sea. Pula is a great place to visit with some excellent shops, bars and restaurants. The pool at Villa Paradiso is larger than many others and is a real benefit. The villa was very adequately equipped for our needs, was clean on our arrival and had everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen area is small but adequate for preparing and cooking meals. The bedrooms have air conditioning, which is invaluable for sleeping comfortably during hot weather. It was easy to communicate via WhatsApp with our host, who was very helpful and responsive and sent us information about the villa and how to recycle rubbish. You definitely need a car to stay at the villa as it is some distance from the nearest facilities. The final access to the villa is up a very steep unmade track, but we parked the car about 50m from the villa on a side track and carried our luggage up to the villa. It is not a major problem but you need to be aware of this. Note that as the villa is in a wooded hilly area, sound travels so you can hear wild boars foraging at night. Also, mosquito repellent is very useful!
