Palm & Par is a single-level home in Palm Desert built around one long sightline: vaulted ceilings, wide sliders, and an open living, dining, and kitchen
layout that keeps the desert light moving from one end of the house to the other.

The interior is bright and low-fuss, done in soft neutrals with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen opens onto the dining area, where a table for eight makes group meals easy, and there's bar seating for people who'd rather hover with a coffee than sit down. A separate laundry room handles the practical side of a
longer stay. Board games are stocked for the afternoons when it's easier to stay in than go out.

Three bedrooms sleep six. Two are set up with queen beds, and the third has a twin with a twin trundle, which works well for kids or a flexible fourth and fifth guest. Three and a half bathrooms mean nobody's negotiating over the mirror in the morning.

The location puts you on the valley's quieter northeastern side, close to the good stuff without sitting in the middle of it. Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the BNP Paribas Open, is roughly ten minutes south, and Shields Date Garden — a Coachella Valley institution worth stopping at for the date shake alone — is a similar drive east. El Paseo, Palm Desert's mile of galleries, boutiques, and patio restaurants, is about fifteen minutes on, and The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens sits just past it for an early-morning visit before the heat sets in. Empire Polo Club in Indio hosts the valley's big spring festivals, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a half-hour northwest for a genuine change of climate, and Joshua Tree National Park is close enough for a full day out. Palm Springs International Airport is roughly a thirty-minute drive.
