First and foremost we love this place in general. I specifically look for rooms at the Terrace in PCB. It’s directly on the beach with easy (no bridge or road crossing) access to both pool and sand! It’s also not in the middle of all the high traffic areas on front beach. This is mainly why we come here. It’s so much less of a stress on a vacation. This would be our 6th or 7th stay, albeit this time with a new room. I do highly recommend staying here, but for our particular visit this time we were met with some bad weather. This would not be a problem had the roof not been leaking. Also not a problem except one of the drips were directly over the bed. Even when we pulled the bed up (which is what we were advised to do) it still hit us in the forehead for two nights of our stay. :( I also had to pull towels and pots/pans to help catch the water in the kitchen area because I didn’t want the owners floors to get damaged. (Huge pool of water forming.)I understand that issues can happen as a landlord myself, but my frustration was with the lack of concern regarding our stay. We received no apology or remorse. I never nor would I ever ask for any compensation because these room rates are great, but for us we just received an explanation of the roof recently being repaired and an offer for more towels to be brought up. That’s all. Which left us feeling unappreciated during our stay.
