This 2 bedroom house is perfect for your escape to Anastasia Island, St. Augustine. Walk to Butler Beach and enjoy the breathtaking views. This beach is also friendly for dogs, as long as they are leashed. This quiet, coastal area is a relaxation retreat while being an easy drive to downtown St. Augustine, just under 8 miles. This hidden gem of an area is ideal for enjoying a low-key beach vacation, enjoying St. Augustine's events, a concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheater, or working remotely from an amazing location. Ride our complimentary bikes through the beautiful neighborhood with canopy tree lined streets or on the beach. There are many great local restaurants to check out here on Anastasia Island. Walk to the Paladar for an authentic cafe con lethe and empanada. You will be comfortable in high quality bedding and a large comfortable sectional couch and 72" tv to enjoy your favorite movie or show.

*Please note that the second bathroom is off of the main house, through the garage and off of the back patio in the laundry area. There is a toilet, sink and shower. Again, this is all within the laundry room area and is not considered "under air" and is not temperature controlled, but great option to have a functional second bathroom for being on the island so close to the beach. There are fans located in the laundry area.

Our home is quaint, cute and cozy, equipped with everything you should need for your stay and is fully fenced in.
There's a playground called Windswept Park within easy walking distance right down the street if you have little ones.

Bedding and couch are comfortable and perfect for lounging.

You can walk to the Cuban bakery called the Paladar for a Cuban sandwich and cafe con leche. Dollar General is a great versatile store within walking distance for all basics from groceries to toiletries.

*Traveling with your dog/dogs - Please read and acknowledge prior to booking if traveling with 1 or 2 dogs. 2 dogs maximum allowed. Please make sure to add your pup to your reservation whether it is 1 pup or 2, they must each be added.
We welcome dogs and love them dearly! We are happy to host you and up to 2 dogs (fur babies) of up to 75 lbs each. I'm sorry but cats are not allowed. While we value our pet guests very much, we do kindly ask pups to not be on the couch or on the beds/bedding. Pet hair is very difficult to get out of the couch and requires a much more detailed and expensive cleaning, and we also need to be respectful to guest we host who do not have pets/dogs due to allergies. Please note, we do have a vacuum at the house to help keep dog hair under control, especially if you have a breed that does shed a bit. Our non-refundable pet fee goes to our cleaner as it requires more time and effort to have a pristine turnover when dogs are present as well as helps to cover some costs with additional wear and tear on our property. We ask you to please bring your fur babies' pet bed so that they feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Please be courteous by picking up doggy poo in the yard area, front and back. If you think that your pup in anyway could cause damage to our property by chewing, scratching, etc while you are away from the property, please bring their crate with you to prevent such occurrences. We strive to keep our property in great condition for you and others! Extended stays of 1 month (28 nights - 30 nights) will require a higher cleaning fee upon checking out of $300.
Extended stays of 2 months or more (56 nights or more) will require a mid-stay cleaning at the guests expense of $100 (this does not include linens/sheets/towels to be washed) and the $300 cleaning fee upon checking out. The fee that is built into the platform of $170 covers a rental turnover cleaning of 27 nights or less. It does not allow me to create a set cleaning fee for 28 nights or more, so please understand that we would be requesting the remaining additional payment through the VRBO platform in order to fulfill the remaining balance for cleaning, depending on your length of stay.
