Sunburst Cottage Beachside

Venez profiter de notre belle location de vacances en bord de plage. Maison de style Old Florida joliment aménagées et récemment rénové est entièrement meublée. Il est sans fil haut débit Internet ainsi que la télévision par câble

Les nombreuses fonctionnalités comprennent la marque de nouveaux appareils dans la cuisine complète, laveuse sécheuse, deux grandes chambres, cheminée, climatisation centrale et de la chaleur, d'un salon avec lit queen ainsi que d'un porche qui peut servir comme une chambre supplémentaire.

Il ya 1 1/2 salles de bains ainsi que d'une douche extérieure. La terrasse extérieure a construit dans le bain à remous. La maison est située à l'est de A1A Beach Blvd (Non en bord de mer, mais très proche) seulement trois maisons de retour de la plage sur une rue calme. Il est sur une section de Saint Augustine Beach qui ne permet pas de conduire sur la plage de sorte qu'il est moins encombré et plus privé. La maison est à environ 50 kilomètres de la plage. Nous ne permettent chiens et St Augustine Beach plage est très gentil chien.

Il est à quelques pas de la jetée de pêche et 14 cafés et restaurants sont à distance de marche.

10 minutes en voiture du centre-ville historique de Saint-Augustin et les zones touristiques.

Convenient clean and cozy beachside house

Clean, convenient to beach and restaurants. Hot tub was clean and nice. Outdoor shower was great when 4 adults are sharing.

Spring getaway!

We were happy to spend time at the beach and it was the perfect location, close to several bars, restaurants and beach. My only suggestion would be to purchase beach towels, there were none. If people were flying in they would be hard pressed. And I would upgrade some of the kitchen utensils otherwise we had a great time!

Another Great Stay

This is our 4th time staying at Sunburst Cottage. It’s quiet and comfortable. Home has everything you need and then some. Very short walk to the beach and places to eat. Michael is great to communicate with and so nice. I definitely recommend staying at Sunburst Cottage.

Great Location but ...

Sunburst cottage is centrally located but the week we were there they were replenishing the beach. The fishing pier didn't reach the ocean and we had to walk down the outside of the beach to get to the ocean. Other then that it was a great stay.

Sunburst

This is an old school beach bungalow. Steps from the beach. Very well decorated. Some modern renovations- but overall still that small beach cottage feel. We absolutely fell in love with it. It was perfect for our family of 4 with dogs. We love the area and have established our go-to spots when not at the beach. Owners were very nice in our limited communications. Great cottage!

Steps to the beach.

Lovely property. Private, quiet, spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped with everything you need, down to bikes, games, books etc. Steps to the beach without having to cross any roads. Large walled patio with sun and shade. Ample parking. We had a great time here.

Did not disappoint.

This was our second time staying at Sunburst Cottage and we absolutely enjoy the location to the beach and the ability to walk to several restaurants, ice-cream shops and the farmers market on the pier. The enclosed back deck with the hot tub is nice for relaxing in the morning or evening and being able to let our pup run around and play. This trip we met some very nice locals that let our dog play with theirs on the beach. We are hoping to return in the future.

A genuine home away from home

We've stayed here twice now and its a wonderful home. Just a few houses away from the beach and abouy 10min drive from downtown st augustine. This house gives you a glimpse into what it would be like to live at the beach. 10/10 recommended

Wonderful beach house

The Sunburst Cottage was excellent. The close location to the beach was perfect for me and my wife and our dog. You will find everything you need at the Sunburst. Michael is a pleasure to work with. We look forward to staying here on our next trip to St. Augustine.

Perfect little home

We love coming to St Augustine as often as we can and have stayed at several places, this home was great. We were able to bring our dog, who loves to go on vacation. We were within walking distance of several restaurants and close enough to the pier to walk to for the market on Wednesday. Michael was easy to reach and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for the use of your property.

Wonderful home steps from the beach

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family and just what we needed. Beach access was perfect and only steps from the home. (The access does not have a boardwalk, but there is a beach access a block up from the home with a boardwalk.) The street is very quiet. We stayed over the 4th of July week and never had an issue with noise. The home is well kept and had beautiful, unique furniture. The private deck area with hot tub was enjoyable in the evenings. The trundle day bed on the porch was perfect for our two boys. The kitchen cabinets and counters are nicely updated, per the description, but are not represented in the pictures. You can tell the property owners take pride in their home and communicated great with check-in. The property is also very close to lots of restaurants and only a few blocks from the pier. There is a publix close by and other shops a short drive away. Thank you for the stay!

Another wonderful vacation

Just finished my fourth stay at the Sunburst Cottage! My whole family (even our dog) loves the place. The owners are great and the house has everything you need. It is so close to the beach, great restaurants and we love the farmers market on Wednesdays. Being from the west coast, we really enjoy visiting the Atlantic. We started renting the house because my daughter attends Flagler College and this way we could all vacation together. Even though she graduates next year, I am confident we will continue to rent every year! Thanks, Michael, for another wonderful vacation!

Beautiful, as advertised

Sunburst Cottage has a great location (about 300 feet or so to the beach), and was just as the photos depicted. It was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and provides a lot of privacy despite being so close to the beach and a number of restaurants. Renting was performed very professionally with a minimum of paperwork, and the property was clean with everything in working order. This really was a great place for a week and I expect to return - maybe next July. If you are there in the Summer, don't miss the Wednesday evening concert and inexpensive/great dinner provided at the pavilion just a few blocks north - nice vibe. If you like soft sand, beautiful sunrises, quiet, and comfort, then this is the place. Just don't tell everybody.

Best rental we've stayed in

We rented this property for a week and the first thing we noticed was how spacious the house was compared to the photos. The kitchen is roomy, with updated appliances and modern decor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking needs. The couches and beds were all extremely comfortable. The daybed in the sunroom was really nice to lounge on during afternoon storms. The back deck with privacy wall was a nice gem and the outdoor shower with hot/cold water was a great benefit. We took full advantage of the hot tub and loved that the ocean was only a 30second walk away. This house was nestled perfectly in Anastasia island and only a short drive to the lighthouse and historic downtown st Augustine. I love that we were able to bring our dog and we hope to stay here again and bring friends and family so they can experience all that this house and st Augustine have to offer. Michael was a phenomenal host and answered any questions or concerns we had in a timely manner. 10/10 would recommend.

Second Year At Sunburst Cottage

We fell in love with this cottage last summer...after our stay this June...we love it even more! It is so perfect for families with older adults or younger children. It is just so easy to get to the beautiful beach...less than a minute walk and only 2 or 3 stair steps! It was cooler this year and we were able to enjoy the private deck area. We also discovered that if it is hot on the deck...open the garage door for five minutes and it acts like a wind tunnel and clears the hot air out. The best restaurants and shopping are within 1/2 mile. We found the owner to be so helpful and attentive to making our stay perfect. He has added more to the kitchen and we didn't need a thing. The air conditioning was so efficient, the cottage cozy and still such a deal to be so close to the beach. I fear saying too many nice things...it is already booked solid all summer. If you vacation the third week in June...disregard all the things above! Thank you owners for always being on top of the constant wear ocean homes have...your home is a joy to live in! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Sunburst Cottage is a Wonderful Beach Hide Away!

My family had a fabulous stay in St. Augustine and the convenience of Sunburst Cottage added to the enjoyment of our spring break. The location is ideal. The home is immaculately maintained and we felt at home immediately. We were able to walk to the beach in about a minute! Everything you could want to take to the beach, i.e. chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, is in the garage. The cottage is cozy yet spacious and the added bonus of being pet friendly. The gas grill was clean and had fuel which made cooking out on the deck pleasant. Running was very convenient on the beach as well as on the sidewalk of the A1A. Additionally, having the wireless Internet made it easy to keep up with work, even if we didn’t do very much :) St. Augustine has so much history and there are all kinds of things to see and do! There was a helpful book filled with the names of restaurants and other brochures to help us plan our outings on the days we were not at the beach. One other benefit is the cottage has a garage! We had a strong thunderstorm move through one morning and it was so nice to have the car inside the garage! We had a great stay at Sunburst Cottage and would definitely go back again! I highly recommend this cottage!!

Our Third Stay at Sunburst...Better Than Ever!

Let me be brief so you'll read this. The owner of this house is a perfectionist. Everything is in perfect condition, and he has upgraded to wonderful kitchen appliances. We love the beachy decor, exhaust fans in the bathrooms that work, the wonderfully landscaped property, the beautiful new and comfortable patio furniture and wide umbrella, but mostly the comfortable new King mattress!!! We sleep on a Tempurpedic and had no trouble adjusting to this one. It is always spotless, full of any cooking utensils you would ever use...love the spices and essentials to get you started. We came during a hot wave and never really enjoyed the hot tub. It still baffles me that the house is so quiet with AIA nearby. You do not hear anything at night. We love that sweet house and appreciate Michael and Pam's committment to make it just perfect for guests. Don't pack beach chairs, coolers or boogie boards...the garage is full of really nice equipment! You will love this place and it's convenient location to the beach, shopping and the old town. We will be staying again!

This was originally our family home. When we moved to a larger home we kept it as a rental since it is so close to the beach. Twelve years ago we converted it to a short term vacation rental. We own two gift shops in downtown Saint Augustine so having a Vacation rental is a good fit for us since we are have been in the Tourism business for 40 years. We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience of the area with our guests.

Our house has been in our family for many years. We take pride in our ownership. It is well maintained and everything works. I have stayed in many vacation rentals around the country for many years. I have been disappointed more often than not. I have tried to use my experience to make your stay more enjoyable. I keep the hot tub hot and the grill always has gas. If there are problems we get on top of it.
