Welcome to our Cabin Retreat! We can sleep up to 8 adults comfortably, plus 2 kids (1 in a twin bed and 1 in a crib/pack n play (available on request).

"This beautiful home was actually MORE beautiful than the pictures! It was perfectly restored with beams, barn wood, painted to perfection, and beautifully decorated with comfortable sofas, chairs, and several places to dine or play one of many games for all ages. Each of the porches provided multiple beautiful places to gather. The bedrooms are really pretty with beautiful views outside each window. Every bed is comfortable and each bathroom thoughtfully done, and the entire house had beautiful paintings, many of which were done by the original owner. The surrounding country neighborhood is gorgeous, and our baby loved watching the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels frolicking every day. Don't miss this gem of middle Tennessee!!"

There are 2 sets of stairs inside the house. They are fairly steep because of the age of the home. Please be aware in case of mobility issues with anyone in your party. There are no bedrooms on the main floor, so you will need to use the stairs to access the bedroom on the 1st floor or any of the 3 on the 3rd floor.

We are in a wooded area. Children are most welcome, and the front yard is available for them to play. However, this is not a suburban backyard, so please be aware of that. They can play in the street but there are cars as our neighbors come and go, so please be mindful and monitor them if you choose to allow that.

There is fiber internet at the house; however, we cannot control the occasional outage due to service provider issues or weather.

Also, this should go without saying, but we are a house in the middle of a wooded area. This means that despite our best pest control efforts, you might see a bug. This is to be expected and is no cause for alarm. If seeing a bug or two will ruin your stay, this isn't the property for you.

We are about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville. If you are visiting the area and want to be very close to downtown, then this isn’t the right fit. We have given you our exact address so that you can map the distance from the house to anywhere else you might want to go. Please do not book and then mark us down in your review for the location when you knew in advance exactly where we are located. We can’t (and don't want to) change the location! We think it's pretty special.
