SWEET 3 BR, DOG-FRIENDLY COTTAGE IN OCEAN BLOCK DEWEY - 24 West St.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

This property is pet friendly with a $300 minimum fee and addendum. Guests pay a $150 cleaning fee.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This is an additional fee that will NOT be included on VRBO.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards for your initial deposit. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your arrival date, and will be automatically charged to your card on file if not paid prior to the due date. If you’d like to make a payment with a personal check or eCheck, please contact your agent for details. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card.

Adorable and Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this house was perfect for us. We loved being on the beach block. It’s really hard to find pet friendly houses so close to the beach, so we were super excited for this one. It was also such a quick and easy walk to the bars/restaurants and to Fifer’s Market. We appreciated the flexibility with number of days rather than having to commit to an entire week. The house was decorated adorably and was super clean. The living room and screened-in porch were our favorite places to spend our time. We look forward to staying there again next summer!

We had a great time together this week, plenty of room for everyone to sit around the table and play games in the kitchen, nice backyard meant we cooked on the grill most nights, living room was cozy and perfect for hanging out. Ceiling fan in every room meant even when it was ridiculously hot and humid outside the house stayed pleasant. One thing to know that is in no way the fault of the owners is don’t get upset when you look out and see someone parked in a spot right in front of the house. That’s a city thing, it’s legal for them to be there but there’s plenty of parking around it. We had 2 full size trucks and a car they fit just fine. I called the rental company and couple times about random things and they are amazing. Access to the beach is 4 houses down, very easy walk. Nice beach and not as crowded as some of the others. Walmart delivers to the house if you forget anything and there’s mini golf and restraints a short walk away. Rehoboth beach wasn’t walking distance for us bc I refuse to walk on a road with that much traffic with a stroller but it is possible. Check out time is earlier that most any I’ve ever stayed in and after being here 8 nights that’s not ideal but other than that I have no regrets about staying here. Thank you for sharing your home. It was a nice relaxing getaway for the 4th of July.

Location was good, quick access to the beach, shops and restaurants. Not as clean as you would expect, we had a mouse in the bathroom, and there is a nasty smell coming from the garbage disposal. Parking was not clear and we received citations as a result. A diagram of how to park at the property was provided after the fact, should have been provided up front. The listing says 3 parking spaces are available however it should specify that it would be for smaller vehicles. If traveling with larger SUV’s this would not be possible.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the prime location, but we sincerely apologize that the rest of your stay fell short of expectations. A pest issue and a foul disposal smell are not the standards we hold for our home. We wish you could have let us know, so we would have dispatched pest control and our housekeeping supervisor to address both issues right away. Regarding the parking citations, we regret that the parking diagram was provided after the fact rather than up front, and that the space limitations for larger SUVs were not clearly noted in the listing.
