Romantic HideAway in an Old Olive Grove - EcoTourism - Huge Pool - E-Charger

Podere Fulignano' is a beautiful old farm house complex which has been lovingly restored. It is situated in the middle of a 300 year old olive grove.
Casa Luca is the biiggest of the three house with an open plan dining, living and kitchen area and offers most privacy due to its location and a beautiful view over the pool and the lovely Tuscan Countryside.
All three charming houses, which are mostly covered by wines and wisteria, are full of character with excellent quality furnishings and up-market fittings. Beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and hand painted tiles from Siena in the bathrooms are found throughout them.
'Podere Fulignano' is perfect for both big groups and families who love to spent some time together but also like to enjoy their privacy as well. It is set in 50 acres of ground and the three independent cottages are far enough apart to guarantee peaceful privacy if needed.
Campagnatico, the next village is only three minutes by car from the farm.
It is the ideal place for anybody wishing to get away from it all and to relax and experience real Tuscan life without having to use the car every day. The huge pool, beautiful garden and great views make it a perfect stay for everyone.
Golf Information: 3 different 18 holes Golf Courses located within 50 km from the property, open all the year: “Golf Club Toscana - Il Pelagone” (35 km), “Golf Club Punta Ala” (about 35 km), Golf Club Monte Argentario (50 km)
'Il Pelagone' is 18 holes, 5.920m, and PAR 71-SSS 70, with many facilities: training field, putting green, pro shop, hire cart, golf bags and trolley, bar, swimming-pool, volley, baby-sitting. During winter is closed on Wednesday.
'Punta Ala', opened in 1964, is 18 holes, 6.168m, PAR 72-SSS 72, with driving range, golf-cars, pro-shop, golf trolley, bar, restaurant and spectacular views all around. Open everyday.
'Monte Argentario' is a spectacular Course on the half island of Monte Argentario between the pitoresque villages of Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy!

We loved our stay at this property - it was better than we had hoped. Little details really made even better - the coffee machine, ice box for taking picnics to the beach, outdoor lighting, candles and of course the enormous pool. We were worried about mosquitoes but barely saw any whilst we were there - Mel (the owner) told us that they spray for mozzies to reduce the numbers. Whether you just want to relax, enjoy sightseeing in the variety of interesting towns, or visit the beach, this spot is wonderful! I enjoyed the fact that there are 3-4 properties on the one site - it felt secluded without being remote. Two things to be aware of - firstly there is no AC - again we were worried about this, but the house can be cooled easily with the fans provided and by airing the property on an evening. Also the houses are accessed by a steep track. It’s fairly easy to navigate if you are competent driver. Don’t let these things hold you back though - make your reservation - it’s WONDERFUL!

Toller Urlaub

Wir verlebten zwei wunderbare Wochen in der Toskana. Ein schönes Ferienhaus und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Der Pool war mit Größe und frsche des Wassers ein Highlight. Hatten wir Fragen bezüglich Empfehlungen wo wir Essen gehen könnten oder was man machen kann, so wurde uns immer eine Empfehlung gegeben. Und gab es mal ein kleines Problem, so wurde es sofort erfolgreich gelöst. Alles in allem absolut schöner Urlaub an einem schönen Ort. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ferientraum in der Toskana

Podere Fulignano ist ein Traum. Auf einem derartig schönen Anwesen sind wir in der Toskana noch nie gewesen - und wir kennen einige schöne! Aus allen Himmelsrichtungen ein Blick bis zum Horizont über wunderschöne Hügel, Olivenhaine, Wiesen, Getreidefelder. Man kann sich gar nicht satt sehen. Alles ist so wunderbar gestaltet, vom Garten mit seinen Oleanderbüschen und Rasenflächen bis zu einer kleinen Zypressen"allee" zu unserem Haus, Casa Luca. Die Häuser oberhalb des Pools wirken fast wie ein kleiner Borgo, also ein kleines Dorf. Der Blick vom Pool auf diese wunderbar überwachsenen Häuser war immer wieder ein Genuss. Unter den großen Sonnenschirmen am Pool, in dem man gut schwimmen kann, sind auch Temperaturen von über 30 Grad gut auszuhalten. Man erholt sich unglaublich gut in diesem piccolo paradiso. Casa Luca ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, von der schönen Küche über den großen Esstisch im Wohn-/Essbereich bis zur großen offenen Dusche im Badezimmer. Der Blick vom Masterbedroom mit seinem bequemen Bett auf den Garten über die Terrasse für 6 Personen, nachts bei geöffnetem Fenster, hinter dem Moskitovorhang, hat wie alles seinen besonderen Zauber. Morgens unter dem großen Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und vor allem nachts unter einem endlosen Sternenhimmel war immer aufs Neue ein Genuss. Sweet life of Tuscany

Very nice experience in a quiet spot between the olive trees with a large pool. We stayed in the cottage "Luca" which was well equiped and a good match for 4 persons. Easy communication and quick solving of minor problems with Mel & co. We can definately recommend this lovely spot!

Eine Oase der Ruhe

So macht ankommen Freude! Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Daniela empfangen. Das Haus war ein Traum und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es hat uns nichts gefehlt, tolle Küchenausstattung, Kerzen für die schöne Atmosphäre, Matratzen sehr bequem und vieles mehr. Am Abend hatten wir einen Sternenhimmel den man in der Stadt nie so sieht. Wir waren alleine und konnten alles nützen. Der wunderbaren Pool mit herrlichem Blick in die traumhafte Landschaft war sehr schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Simply wonderful

Already the arrival is an experience coming through a big gate and driving down on gravel through a steep alley of cypress trees. You arrive at a beautyfully maintained and cultured property with 4 houses (3 are for rent) in the old Tuscan style with open masonery work. At the bottom of the hill is the naturally shaped, large pool surrounded by a wooden deck with enough umbrellas and lounge beds for everyone. It is a great place to hang out large parts of the day. The common area with the large table, the pizza oven and the big grill is great place to meet the other families which gives you the choice to be with other people or stay by your yourself in front of your house. Casa Enrico (Luca) in which we stayed has a beautyful view into the distance over hilly landscape. There are wonderful restaurants in the neighbouring villages such as La Rimessa in Montorsaio which we enjoyed particularly for their fantastic Bistecca Fiorentina. Although the property is not right by the ocean it only takes 30 min to get to the beach. North of Marina di Grosseto are a number of different bagnios where one can rent beach beds with umbrellas. We had a great time at Fiumara Beach which was recommended to us by the owners. All in all my wife and I with our three children enjoyed our stay at Casa Enrico so much that we will be back next year.

A slice of Paradise!

My stay in Casa Luciano at 'Podere Fulignano' was perfect in every way...Everything I needed was provided for in the stylish apartment, the well equipped clean kitchen and comfortable bed made me feel at home right away. The very large pool was heaven to swim in everyday and the breathtaking views across the olive groves and beautifully kept garden made me feel as though I were in paradise every moment I was holidaying there. I hope to come back and visit again many times and would recommend this exquisite place to everyone I know. It is close to historical towns and beautiful beaches as well as delicious restaurants...everything you need for a perfect holiday can be found at Podere Fulignano.

A delightful Tuscan hideaway - a perfect hols

Mel this was really an idyllic week away - even the weather was perfect. The house was so comfortable - especially the beds - and very well equipped - especially the kitchen - the shower was also great. Sitting on the terrace in the evening looking over the green valley was delightful. Hardly any mosquitoes - and the pool was stunning - we so enjoyed our stay. Daniella was so caring and helpful. Our trips to Siena, Montalchino and Castigliano and of course to San Giminiano were out of this world. Yes we would definitely recommend Villa Luca - well done you have done a super job in getting the complex to a very high standard - we had a truly memorable hols. Peter and Pippa and girls.

We miss Tuscany and Casa Enrica Already!

It was a perfect two weeks at Fugligmano, Campagnatico! The farm's location, the hilltop villages, the fabulous food, the wine, and the people, so friendly! We loved the Casa Enrico. It was perfect for us. The housekeeper, Daniela, was very responsive and friendly, the whole property is enchanting, and we enjoyed your wonderful pool! It was nice that we had our own private apartment with patio and furniture for relaxing and taking in the wonderful scenery. But, we also liked having neighbors in the other apartments to share our daily adventures and recommendations with around the pool or at the clothes line. We enjoyed meeting new friends from Britain, Austrailia, Germany, and of course the very friendly and helpful Italians there at the farm, in "our" village Campgnatico, and all around Tuscany. The location was ideal. We flew into Roma and spent the weekend there seeing the sights going and coming. We went to Florence, an easy drive, for an overnight & siteseeing. But most of all, we loved our early Tuscan mornings having cappuccino (machine provided in our apartment!) on our patio, taking a road trip to discover a new hilltop village, winery, sculpture garden, seaside castle or charming tattitoria for a nice lunch before siesta. We will be back!

Wonderful location, spacious house, great pool!

It was our second stay, we love the location! From the terrace of Casa Enrico you can overlook the Tuscan hills, surrounded by olive trees, oleander and jasmine. The pool is wonderful and huge. For the children there is a trampoline, a large lawn for playing football and a rope slide. And for the parents: You are in the middle of a wine region, Siena, Montalcino and Grosseto are nearby and also many great restaurants. The beaches of Maremma are just half an hour away! Last but not least: Mel and Thomas are wonderful hosts, helpful and supportive! We will definitely come back!
