THE COTTAGE

Originally built in 1961, Golden Shore Cottage has been lovingly restored with deep respect for her history. Original hardwood floors, vintage wallpaper in the Garden Room, restored cedar ceilings, and carefully preserved furnishings celebrate the home’s mid-century character, while modern amenities ensure every comfort during your stay.

Though intimate in size, the cottage lives remarkably large. Nearly every space enjoys views of the water, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out.

Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with friends, or as a family of four, the cottage offers an atmosphere that feels warm, relaxed, and unmistakably authentic.

LIFE ON THE WATER

With approximately 75 feet of private waterfront, the lake becomes your backyard. A private, sandy beach is perfect for little ones to enjoy a swim. Bring your boat or rent one during your stay. The dock provides a perfect place to park a boat. The dock remains in the water through the end of September

Spend your mornings fishing from the dock, swimming in bay, or launching a kayak for a peaceful paddle. After a day on the lake, rinse off beneath the outdoor shower before gathering on the deck for dinner or retreating to the screened porch to enjoy the evening breeze.
