Silver City is waiting for you at this 1-bedroom cottage. Inside, guests find a brilliant queen bed and a cozy living room with an additional twin mattress, and couch, perfect for extra company or relaxation. Large windows let in all the magical New Mexico sunshine or pull the blackout curtains and turn on the faux fireplace and small smart TV for a cozy, moody vibe. The bathroom features a shower and a handy hair dryer as well as super soft towels. Whether you’re unwinding indoors or enjoying the tranquil surroundings, this cottage offers a comfortable retreat. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember. Enjoy the sunrise or sunset in your private courtyard. We are a short walk or bike ride to Gough Park and downtown. Come stay with us and see all that Silver and the Gila have to offer. I'd love to host you!

I feel really compelled to write this review as I almost didn’t rent this place based on the previous review. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to that review. I am traveling nurse and I rent air b and bs and VRBOs often and rely heavily on reviews and that review was completely unfair and inaccurate. I had a great stay! This place is very private and I felt safe as a single woman traveling alone. I work night shift and the neighborhood was very quiet as I slept during the day. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and there plenty of extra pillows and blankets. There were plenty of places to store your luggage. Kimberly was great to communicate with, was very accommodating and very accurately described the place. The shower pressure was great. There is a good sized mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. I truly enjoyed my stay and likely will stay here again when I’m in the area!

This was definately not a beautiful cottage oasis. More like a spider infested one room studio. We killed at least ten dpiders each night. The listing states it sleeps four, but if we had to fit four people in that room we would have been very upset. The third person would have needed to sleep on the couch and the fourth person on the floor and hope noone needed to get up to go the bathroom because the floor mattress would have taken up the only available floor space in that tiny room. The bathroom was an unfinished concrete slab floor. The shower was disgusting with black mold around the bottom with a would base on the floor. The tv is the size of a computer monitor. There were only four plugs in the room and all were being used by the host so we had to unplug the tv and two lamps to charge our phones and other necessities. There is no area to put anything in the bathroom so makeup bags toiletry bags and any other bathroom supplies had to be put on the couch. There are no areas for clothes or suit cases except on the couch as the only area available had the huge floor mattress stored there. So everything you brought with you had to be on the couch or you would be stumbling over it to move around. The bathroom door did not close. There is not a full size mirror to see yourself in except a medicine cabinet in the bathroom and one small mirror next to the white cabinet. The mattress was so hard it felt like you were sleeping on the floor.

Wow. I'm sorry you feel this way, but I am not surprised after having you txt me and ask me to close the curtains for you while you were at an event, someone who isn't capable of closing the curtains themselves may have unrealistic expectations of a small cottage rental. Please let me address your grievances. Spiders: when I cleaned and prepared the cottage for your arrival, there were no spiders. I have listed that the cottage can accommodate 4 people, because it has and it can and for those traveling with kids it's absolutely doable. The double bed sleeps 2, one person can sleep on the couch and we offer an additional twin mattress that can be used on the floor. All bedding is provided. Bathroom: the bottom of the shower is concrete and there is a teak shower deck to stand on. The shower is old, so is the cottage, I didn't describe it as a new sparkling resort. The shower is clean and has great water pressure. There are fluffy towels and a nice soft rug. TV: the listings say there is a small smart tv. Outlets and chargers: there are available outlets there is a charger on the lamp on the bedside table. Space: there's a small shelf in the bathroom for toiletries as well as towel hooks and a cart that can be used to place your personal items. There is a hanging rod with coat hangers and a shelf to put your bags and personal items. The extra twin mattress is stored out of the way and it is folded and does not take up much space. Bathroom door does close. Memory foam mattress.
