Welcome to our tranquil A-frame cabin tucked in the woods! Our place is a secluded retreat where you can come to unplug and reconnect with the outdoors. Enjoy nearby skiing, hiking, or golfing, unwind by the fire pit, or chill and grill on the expansive, private deck.

Located 2 1/2 hours from NY, we're just a short drive to Windham and Hunter for skiing, hiking, and outdoor fun—and minutes to the charming towns of Cairo and Catskill for award-winning restaurants, galleries, and shopping.

Our private yard with a fire pit is tucked into the woods for added privacy. Relax on the spacious deck with dual gas and charcoal grills, an outdoor dining area, and a modern wicker sectional couch. Enjoy coffee and the pond view from the front deck, and get cozy under the stars by the firepit.

Getting here and parking

We are located 7 minutes from the village of Cairo and 20 minutes from Catskill. We’re 25 minutes from skiing at Windham and 30 minutes from Hunter. Our cabin is the perfect home base for exploring hiking, skiing, golfing, award-winning food and wine, vibrant farmers’ markets and festivals, and outdoor activities in the Catskills.

You'll have access to private, off-street parking on the property. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you directions to the cabin and access to a digital guidebook, and you’ll receive a code to the keypad before check-in.

Please use Google Maps to navigate to the property. Unfortunately, Apple Maps and Waze might not direct you correctly. We’ll send directions before you check in.

A note on the water: Our water comes from our well and is regularly tested. It’s safe to drink and use, but there may be a sulfuric smell that is common to well water in the region. For added comfort, we provide a dispenser for drinking water.

Fireplace: The indoor fireplace is not functional. Please use the fire pit in the yard.

No pets: Unfortunately, we are unable to host pets.

No smoking: We are a smoke-free property. No smoking or vaping in the cabin or on the property.

EV charging: For safety reasons, electric vehicle charging is not permitted on the property due to fire risk.

House manual: After your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive access to our digital house manual. It includes everything you need for your stay, such as wifi information and property access instructions.
