Maison d’hôtes des années 1930 avec un grand salon et un tout nouveau canapé-lit. Cuisine complète avec table à manger et chaises d'époque ainsi qu'un passage avec 2 chaises pivotantes à dossier haut côté salon. Cuisinière à gaz pleine grandeur et grand comptoir en mosaïque et évier. Bureau en métal des années 1940 dans un coin vitré du salon. Grandes baies vitrées dans le salon et la cuisine qui font face aux 8 hectares de bois. Salle de bain complète de la chambre à coucher avec une grande baignoire et une douche sur pattes, un lavabo vintage et des toilettes neuves. Wifi disponible et vous êtes une télévision à écran plat et lecteur DVD. Petit porche extérieur avec table et chaises. Ventilateurs de plafond dans la chambre et le salon plus chaleur en hiver.

Great week in the catskills.

Cute cabin with great amenities not far from some amazing farm stands, hikes and restaurants. Great place if you like to cook, the host even gave some freshly picked asparagus as a gift!

Easter Joy

We returned to our favorite place for Easter weekend, and per usual, it was a joy! I had recently been ill. On any other trip, we would have had to cancel because I was not strong enough to leave the house. Luckily for us, this cottage is a destination in itself rather than a boring hotel room. My husband was more than willing to run out for groceries and take out. I contentedly lounged on the couch and puttered around the cottage...and left stronger and healthier.

Perfect cabin perfectly away from and close to “the bustle”

Amazing stay in this Catskill cabin. Above and beyond expectations in all aspects. Clean, private, very cool antique decor, and Paul the host was as attentive and available as one would want (though we never needed to contact him with any issue). We will definitly return!

Marvelous cottage in a lovely location

The cottage and property are wonderful. Adorably furnished and decorated, comfortable bed, fab porch, and grill, outside sitting area and fire pit. Great host, terrific place!

Loved the Cottage

The cottage is a wonderful nostalgic journey. I thoroughly enjoyed all the vintage decore. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The host is very responsive and readily available. All of the basic necessities (shampoo, dish soap, kitchen utensils, etc ..) were all available. Thank you!

This is our fourth stay here and it was as delightful as always! This time, we chose to spend all of our time at the cottage and just enjoy. Unlike a hotel room, this cottage is a destination in itself! All the other attractions in the area are just a plus.

Relaxing escape

This cute little cottage was just what I was looking for to escape life’s stresses. My pup and I got to enjoy a lot of the beautiful hiking, and would come back to the cottage and relax in the evening.

Adorable little place

We loved it here. The house is well equipped and private. It is close to many beautiful nature areas. Main Street has a great blend of vintage and new style shops. Owner is pleasant, easy to communicate with, and maintains the cabin nicely.

Restful retreat

Waking up in the morning and having a cup of coffee on the porch, listening to the birds was the highlight of my days staying at this lovely little cottage. I felt like I was hidden away, back in time with all the retro kitchen appliances and adornments. The cottage is way up the hill, but close enough to coffee, a dinner, a swimming hole, Hudson, etc. The host was kind and generous with the (literal) fruits from his garden. Was there during a hot spell and the A/C was great. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much,

Lovely Quaint Cottage

This was such a perfect cottage for me, my partner and our two dogs. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, taking a bath in the clawfoot tub, walking around the town of Catskill, and being a hop skip and a jump to hiking trails in the catskills. Paul was very easy to communicate with, the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The bed was comfortable. The house was absolutely charming. I am looking forward to recommending folks to stay there!

reason for cutting short my stay

Unfortunately I was forced to leave early due to a problem with the pet I had with me. My leaving had nothing to do with the property, the owner, etc. I could not give my stay a positive response due to my personal situation of having to leave after 1 day

Charming Mountain Cabin

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend stay at Paul’s charming cabin in the mountains. Cozy is the operative word. Nestled into a peaceful and beautiful setting it’s the perfect getaway spot for two (plus your dog is welcomed!). We loved that the location was close to everything but tucked away. Paul is a very kind and generous host, we felt welcomed but had total privacy. A great place to unwind and appreciate nature. Thanks, Paul!

Perfect Catskill Cottage

My husband and I wanted to mix up our trip to the Hudson Valley with a more rustic vibe and Paul’s place hit the spot. Not too far from the towns of Catskill and Cairo, and not too far from the excellent hiking trails in the mountains, we found our happy medium with this cozy and tidy cottage. We loved the charming decor and the welcoming little details such as coffee pods and bottled water, and even fresh picked strawberries! Would recommend this place to anyone or couple looking to get away — but still be within reach.

Lovely, quiet cottage.

This is such a unique place. The decor makes you feel like you've stepped back in time, yet there are some modern touches as well. We loved the turquoise fridge and stove. Looks old, but it's new! This was our first experience with a tankless water heater and I was skeptical, but it worked as advertised. Plenty of hot water for showers. My only complaint was the size of the bed. It's my fault for not noticing it's a full size, not a queen. I still slept well, but my feet were over on my wife's side of the bed since I was positioned a bit diagonally. It's a great convenient location for hiking in the Catskills. Paul was easy to contact, and we were quite pleased to stay here.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

We absolutely loved this cottage. From the pictures listed we knew this would be a perfect spot to decompress and relax. The house was clean, well equipped and exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the fire pit area every afternoon with a fire at night as well. Such a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed afternoon trips into Leeds and Catskills. Our host communicated wonderfully and we hope to return in the fall.

Hi. I'm Paul Adams and am originally born in Kansas, grew up in North Dakota, college in Minnesota, and have lived in New York City for the last 36 years. I am the Artistic Director of a non profit theatre company for 25 years and also have an apt cleaning company for 30 years. I am an avid organic vegetable gardener and have 70 raised beds which I tend on weekends. I also have a 6 bedroom 2 bath house for rental on this same property with vintage charm.
