Nestled just minutes away from Ski Windham & Hunter 9 Golf Courses, Hiking, Boating, Antiquing, Fine Dining, Historic Sites Olana, Thomas Cole, Boating on the Hudson, Blackhorse Farmers Market (Open year round) , Coxsackie Antiques (Big Barn with over 100 venders!) and so much more. This charming property offers the perfect escape for your next getaway!

As a traveler, you'll delight in the free WiFi, cozy fireplace, and smart TV, making it easy to stay connected and entertained during your stay. We had an amazing time. The house was well stocked. The backyard big and beautiful. The best part though is Elizabeth herself. She was very nice and kind to us. We visited her farm and had a blast. She, and her friendly dog Rex, showed us all around the property and let us help feed the chickens and turkeys. It was a dream. Highly recommend the place and highly recommend visiting the farm

The home was clean and quiet with lots of privacy and nature. Exactly what we were looking for! Elizabeth let the children come to her farm and interact with the animals. We all slept well and wish we could stay longer! We plan a return!

Getaway in the mountains

The property was not ready when we arrived, and there was an issue with the water tank pressure system. Elizabeth and her staff were friendly, quick and helpful. We had everything we needed for a great stay and would happily visit again

Best Host, Clean and fully stocked house

Elizabeth takes pride in her house and goes out of her way to make sure each and every detail is taken care of, the amenities, the cleanliness, and everything in between. We stayed with 3 kids and she made sure each and every child has toys for their age she set up a swing set w/ a slide, a kiddie pool and much more. If you’re looking for a caring host and a well taken care house to stay in choose one of Elizabeth’s houses and you won’t regret it.

This had to be one of the very best properties I've rented. Not just because everything was perfect in the house, but the owner treated us like we knew each other for years. The house was very clean, well kept and has all that's needed. The space was perfect for us. Parking was even better. The backyard is huge. Was so relaxing. Elizabeth the owner checked in the 1st night with fresh eggs and items to make smores. She wanted to make sure our self check in went smooth and we had everything we needed. She even let us visit her farm. My godson had so much fun feeding her horses & chickens. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Elizabeth.

comfortable house and a beautiful farm

My husband and I recently stayed at this property with our two teenaged kids, and we enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and a decent stove, so we were able to prepare our meals there. The beds are comfortable, and the sofa opens up to a very nice sofa bed. Our favorite part of the stay was our visit to the nearby farm! Elizabeth and Jay were very welcoming, and invited us to interact with their chubby turkey and chickens. They really love their animals! They also offered us some fresh eggs, which were delicious! I highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning there for another visit soon.

Great town, beautiful views and wonderful people.

We had a last minute need in the area for a family memorial. Elizabeth was more than accommodating!! Long day of travel and a midnight arrival. The communication with Elizabeth allowed me to provide her the details. In doing so- she prepped the house for our arrival to include a super late check In (after normal hours) and even had breakfast on site for us. Fresh farm eggs, bread, fruit and a sweet treat. The house was completely stocked with all of your needs. Cozy- comfortable- perfect. Elizabeth let us know she was in the process of renovating the property. Which didn’t bother us and wasn’t anything major. Small little things that she is doing to better the property. Great stay and we are looking to come back. Thank you again!

Freehold Family Visit

This home was an excellent choice for us because my sister lives just a couple of miles from the Vrbo. We arrived as the sun was about to set; the owner had prepared the home with a cozy gas fireplace lit and the lights on. The home itself was clean and just as stated online; spices and other cooking needs were available, all the fixings for smores, and a great selection of coffee and creamers. The propane tank was filled so that we could BBQ and we took advantage of the smores building on the grill because the backyard was covered in snow. Only a couple of issues: the lock pad on the entry door was not working but the owner was quick to the rescue even at 9 pm, the TV in the guest room was not connected (not a problem for us), and a panel missing off the bathtub exposed the inner workings of the tub. The garage was still falling down but I hope this will be fixed for my next visit. As the previous sentence states...yes, I would stay there again:) Thank you!

Not as advertised

When we arrived ALL the doors were left unlocked-the host later said we had nothing to worry about, it was safe, garage looks like it's about to collapse, lawn was overgrown, no hammocks, trash left on the outside deck near the bbq that didn't look like it would work, and a rusty swing set. The "jetted tub" has no use since there's not enough water to fill the bathtub, ended up losing use of all water on the 4th night- owner acted shocked that we "went through it all already"-she had a make shift well down in the basement they were filling manually. She did offer use of one of her other properties if water could not be fixed, but after seeing the state of this property, I wasn't very interested. The pictures show a washer so we assumed that one was on this property as well and it is not. There were candy wrappers and dust on floor and dressers so they might want to double check that before guests arrive. All in all it was good for a place to sleep, just beware-you are not getting what is advertised!

Adequate at best

The house was clean. The bedrooms were very small and had beds that were probably standard size. My husband and I each took a bedroom after the first night of a cramped sleep. The water is an issue. The bathroom sink has practically no water coming out of the faucet, just a tiny stream. We were worried about having a shower the first morning but it worked. The mattresses were old and sagged in the middle, the garage outside looked like it was going to fall down any minute. The owners did not communicate with you so if you're having problems, good luck getting in touch with them. No internet even though we were hooked up to the wi-fi. The message on the setting on my phone was wi-fi connected - no internet. Got crickets from the owner when I tried to get the problem fixed. No lights on the outside side of the house where you enter, just a wire hanging down and same with the deck outside. They did have coffee which was nice. The sofa's were badly stained and we wouldn't sit on them, to us, it looked like urine stains. Since they already had our money and we were visiting friends and didn't have to spend too much time at the house, we had no choice but to stay. Would never stay here again, there are lots of nicer places around for the same money.

The beds are both queen size (4’ wide) and are new (purchased in May when the marble bathroom with the Kohler Jacuzzi tub/shower was remodeled and the new wood floor put in.. The new bathroom sink faucet had some grit in the little screen and we rinsed it out, screwed it back and the water is running perfectly again. The bedrooms are 10’x11’ and 11’x12’. There are 2 floodlights over the door, just turn them on. The WiFi internet is always on. The garage isn’t attached to the house and isn’t included in the rental and is slightly crooked. The back door light fixture is up on the new trex deck with the gazebo for shade and rain. The couch had soda spilt on it and the previous guests tried using water on my beige couch leaving water rings. I apologize that Stanley Steamer couldn’t get here in time before you arrived. It’s been cleaned.

Visit with our horses, ducks, chickens & turkeys on our 110 acre farm with 4 miles of private hiking trails just around the corner. Take our pedal or 12' row boat out on our pond. The peace and quiet, birds singing, being surrounded by woods and nature. Watching the deer and rabbits playing. It's very relaxing.
