The Space:

This attractive studio suite is the perfect place to call home during a fun-filled beach getaway with someone you love! Spend your days in the cool waters of the Atlantic then come home to rinse away the sand with the private washer/dryer. Explore the many on-site amenities that include a shared pool, sauna, and tennis. You can entertain your guests in the living area or out on the private balcony before serving up a delicious meal prepared in the full kitchen. The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms. During the summer season, you can visit the beach bar and grill, the sandwich shop, the convenience store, and our gift shops. This beachfront condo is ideally located within walking distance of various dining and shopping options; you can also take the bus for hassle-free travel to your favorite destinations. The historic Ocean City Boardwalk, with its carnival atmosphere, great food, and superb nightlife, is located five miles south. You can also plan a fun family day at Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Splash Mountain Waterpark, only four miles south. Things to Know The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed. The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Great for solo traveler. I’ve stayed at the Golden Sands before and really like it. It’s far enough away from the busy boardwalk area but still close enough for all the great restaurants. I’ve never used a Murphy bed before but this one was comfy, albeit a little squeaky. The high chairs on the balcony are great for watching the waves and leaving the door cracked open to hear them at night is sublime. Highly recommended.

Nice place but some issues

The owners don't answer there phone numbers even though they left them for questions or problems it was nice though right by the beach so you can sit on the balcony and watch the waves and close to a bunch of different restaurants and it was very clean when we got there

Very nice, basic studio condo for weekend getaway

The condo was the perfect size for my 6 year old and me for a weekend getaway. The view was amazing. Everything was clean and comfy. Golden Sands staff were very nice. Indoor pool was small, but we basically had it to ourselves in the off-season. As the listing states, the internet access the condo offers is the public internet that is available to the whole building. It is an unsecured network and unsurprisingly did not work at all during our stay. The condo only offers basic cable as well. Neither of those things were big issues for us but am highlighting as they might be for some potential future renters.
