The property is even cooler than advertised! My husband and I loved it. The house felt very private and the photos accurately reflect the home. There is some road noise but the views and awesome hot tub are worth it.

Excellent views!

Our family took a snowboard trip to Taos and this property was perfect! The kitchen has everything you need and the home was very clean. So many windows with excellent views, I could have just stayed at the house all day and relaxed. The deck and rooftop area are great for watching the sunset. We will definitely stay here again!

In town for a wedding

I definitely would recommend staying at this property! The view is absolutely amazing!! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and the amenities were👌. Just under a ten minute drive to downtown Taos which was nice and convenient. I’d stay here again just to sit on the porch with a nice breeze and look at that view!

Perfect anniversary getaway

Stayed four nights for our 40th anniversary. The house was pristinely clean. Everything was exactly as pictured, maybe even better. The views are beyond compare. The kitchen was completely equipped - even had decaf coffee which was a lovely touch. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice - even the provided soap/shampoo/conditioners were great. Porches were absolutely perfect.

Views for days!

First, this home is absolutely beautiful! We especially love the kiva fireplaces and the outdoor deck and hot tub. The views of the mountains are gorgeous and the city lights at night are beautiful! The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The property has a secluded feeling and is very quiet at night. We had a chance meeting with the owner who is delightful. We highly recommend this place and hope to return someday. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful

This was the trip we needed. The house is very nice and clean. The back porch ended up being our favorite spot. At night, the lights of Taos were beautiful . Orlando's was the hands down favorite restaurant. As a TV lover I would have appreciated a TV in the master but the other amenities outweighed this absence. Thank you!!

I absolutely loved this home! The view was second to none! The amenities were fabulous! Having a Pickle Ball court right out the back door was soo fun! Loved the rooftop bar and gorgeous 360 view! Absolutely an amazing place to stay. Typically there is a difference between pictures online and when you actually walk into a vacation home. For this one though, I'd say the pictures didn't do it justice. Clean with amazing amenities—then there is the spectacular view. Not a single thing I would suggest as an improvement.

Lovely home with great views

Cottam Pines A was a great place to stay. Easy to live in. Perched above the valley with easy access to everything in the Taos area. Well equipped kitchen. Easy to use outdoor grill. Covered porch/deck is comfortable. Upstairs rooftop wine bar has great views in all directions. Main bedroom/bathroom is outstanding. Met the owners who were attending to some new plantings. Very helpful insights to the area.

Amazing house in a beautiful location

Great property. The place was clean, comfortable, fully stocked, and exactly like the listing if not better. We loved everything about this place and would definitely come back. Only issue was dealing with Vacasa and trying to get any support - it was an extremely poor experience. I finally got a response to a support question we sent a month ago (we've been checked out for over two weeks). Otherwise, the property itself is impeccable.

We loved everything about this fantastic home. Photos are great however it's the feel of this home that you get the minute you walk in. Kitchen is equipped with more than expected. Bedding is top of the line and beautiful. Many discoveries were made as we explored this home. Heated stone floors in the bathroom as well as the spa area which feels luxurious. The view from this area is suburb. Will leave the rest for you to discover when you visit this Home that I wish I could live in.

This is a beautiful home with a TON of amenities. From the hot tub to the private rooftop bar, it's really such a great getaway for a couple or a small group of friends. The views are gorgeous from every window! The home was clean, the master bed was soft and comfortable. We really don't have many complaints at all! Really, the only thing I'd change about the place is that the master shower isn't our cup of tea. It has a rainfall shower head, as well as a handheld unit. The rainfall shower head just didn't have enough water pressure for us. I exclusively used the handheld unit, and my husband actually showered in the second bathroom. I will say, though, that the listing says there's no air conditioning. The master bedroom actually DOES have a mini split that gets quite cool thankfully! If you close the main door to the bedroom, you're easily able to control the temperature in that space. We were there in early September, so it was still pretty warm during the day. Without that mini split, I'm not sure it would have been comfortable for us. I did not notice if the second bedroom has one or not. The main living area did not.This is *almost* 5 stars across the board. The reason that I can't give it a perfect rating is because the location is a little challenging. It's a little ways outside of town which is fine, though not the most convenient. But, the real problem is that turning out onto the road is nearly blind! I found that to be pretty dangerous, so be careful!

Quiet respite

Pros: The owner's have spared no expense about updating the property. There are typed and laminated instructions for the smart features. Due to the cold, we appreciated the heated floors and toilet seat in the master bath. All 3 beds have memory foam, including the pull out sofa. Views from the back porch are lovely and can be enjoyed from the hot tub. There is a washer and dryer available as well as a home gym fitted with a treadmill, exercise bike, some weights and medicine ball. Taos Plaza is a short drive away. Cons: There is a "casita" guest house on the property but you don't know if anyone else is stying there or going to be stayinh there. When I asked the management company, I received a pat answer that "the property can be rented during your stay", however we saw cars come and go at random hours and it was a little unsettling. Additionally, the washing machine needs to be cleaned as there is mold in the gasket. Some of the cooking ware should be replaced or scrubbed. I spent a good amount of time getting the pans clean enough to used for my family. Lastly, the porch has great string lights but almost half of the bulbs are out and need to be replaced. Despite this, we would stay here again, it is a comfortable home and very comfortable home.

That being said, we are sorry to hear about any issues you encountered. In regards to the casita, our listings and home instructions do state that there may be other guests renting this during your stay. On that note, the details also mention the casita can be rented in addition to the main home. We encourage guests to call us ahead of time and inquire if anyone will be staying at the property. We wish we had known about the cleanliness and outdoor lighting when you contacted us so we could have helped out then. Rest assured our local homecare team is following up with housekeeping and inspecting the bistro lights for replacement. If there is anything else we can do please reach out to us. View:stunning. Home features: outstanding. Every need was anticipated and there were luxury features everywhere, from the NM themed art to the pop tennis court to the giant yard chess set to the fancy toilet in the master bath (a terlet with its own remote control was a first for me). One note: While the master bed and bath are ultra luxe, the guest bed and bathroom are pedestrian - builder's grade stuff. My wife and I won the coin toss and got the luxurious side of the house; if our traveling companions were writing this review it would not glow so brightly.
