Luxury villa, very spacious, fully equipped, attention to detail, quiet, sunsets

Dear Victoria, first of all I am glad that you did like your stay in Villa Secret Garden. As already emailed you prior the security deposit refund check has been mailed within the time frame and I felt sorry that your last name had an "l" missing and you couldn't deposit the check but I did wire the amount right away into your account. Concerning the BBQ it was left dirty and I did send you a pic, same concerning the electric meter reading. Sent you copies of meter readings on arrival and departure. It shows exactly how much you used and you knew that higher electric charges will be deducted from the security deposit. There have been bank fees and you have been informed when making a wire transfer that all costs have to be paid by the tenant. You did also receive a copy of the bank statement. We did not charge you for the extra cleaning of removing the chewing gum from the wall (which wasn't there when you arrived) and for scratching off all the plastic parts (might have been from balloons) which could be found all over the lanai. Hello Rozanna, thanks for your review which is partially correct. We are sorry about the problem with the dishwasher and the washer. The house had been rented 5 days prior your arrival and the previous guests did not mention it with a word that there is a problem. It is not correct when you write the owner has been aware of the problem! Concerning the coffee maker I have to mention that the house has 2 coffee makers (drip coffee maker and Keurig machine) which is listed in the description of the house. A new drip coffee maker had been dropped off a couple hours after you reported the problem. You would have had the Keurig machine incl. capsules so you had a coffee maker for your morning coffee. The appliance guy showed up right away and tried to fix the problem. The sprayer in the dishwasher was broken and he ordered right away a new one but it did take some time to get it The washer had been repaired right away and it did work for 2 days. Appliance guy did come back and found another problem and had to order a new motherboard. I personally did drop off new towels 3 days prior your departure (and not as you stated last night) just to straighten your message. We all know that things can go wrong and are taken out of our hands. We tried everything to solve the problem right away. The house is well equipped and all our previous guests enjoyed their stay. The owner agreed to give you a credit for your inconvenience. Wishing you all a Merry Xmas.

I've been reading this review with quite some interest and now it's my turn to straighten out all her negative impressions she left. She emailed me on December 29, a day after her departure that "Loved the place, had a great time! Will definitely provide a good review, we did have a wonderful time". and all in a sudden it changed because I charged her the pet fee :)) Booking the house she reported one dog and all in a sudden we had 3 dogs in the house (the neighbor did not spy on her he just asked how the house was left as he saw 3 dogs there). She never paid the pet fee that is listed on the website nor did she mention that there are 3 dogs in the house. Accusing me of being greedy is just ridiculous as again it's listed in the description. If she wouldn't like to pay the pet fee she should have rented another place - one could have the impressions it has been done on purpose. In the entire week she did not contact me one time about a problem in the house. All sliders have locks and hinges so you can always lock them. The bathroom has recently been remodeled got a large new vanity with mirror, toilet paper holder and towel bar (can be seen on the listed photos) - so the broken toilet paper holder has been caused by the guests, hasn't been fixed and I had to get if fixed by my handyman. The sofa is absolutely fine, I've checked it - never had a problem in the past and I've asked my last guests if they did have any and her answer has been "NO". All these negative comments in her review are absolutely not true just because I did charge her the pet fee. How does it come that the guest arriving on the same day of her departure gave a 5 star review!!!
