Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. It was a bit cozy, but worked just fine. The rental isn't new, but it's clean, functional, and comfortable. Beach access was great. We'd be happy to return.

Quaint restored Cottage at the south end of the prom at Seaside one block from the beach. Period fixtures. Small bit cozy. All the amenities you could want especially in the kitchen. Parking off the street. We felt really safe. I will book this Cottage again.

We had a wonderful little getaway. Adorable little cottage. Code lock was a little difficult to use for those of us with dexterity issues but did work. Parking was not where we first assumed and would have appreciated a map in advance in check-in instructions. The house is adorable and a very nice location. Would have liked some chairs to sit outside on the balcony area. The light colored carpet did show a lot of stains.

The location was perfect - so close to the water for easy morning walks. Just the right size for our small Thanksgiving getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed, and they even left us a disposable roasting pan for the turkey!

Beautifully and generously appointed, absolutely darling cottage just a half block from the beach! Our three generation ladies family outing found everything we needed to very comfortably wine, dine, paint, cleanse, sleep! We offer our highest recommendation of this space!

Mixed feelings on this rentalThis house def delivers on the historic charm, is in a great location, and is beach walkable but lacks upkeep and underdelivers on promised amenities.Things we personally struggled with: 1. the washer/dryer situation is awful. The washer was mildewy and the dryer took 5 hours to dry a standard load2. Some windows were broken and unusable 3. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. Extremely firm and lumpy.4. The couch cushions are sunken and uncomfortable 5. Parking directions were not made clear before or at booking, or with arrival instructions. Only after you go in the house do you get instructions that tell you where to park6. The stairs are very shallow and were hard to navigate, impossible with luggage.7. The tap water tastes awful, they kindly provide a filter pitcher, but it doesn’t help much8. The whole house feels flimsy, but particularly the second floor. Just walking around everything creaks and crunches and moves. The second floor has noticeable pitches and sags9. Outlets were loose and dangerous to plug into 10. House smelled mildewy and musty11. The water gets extremely, dangerously hot. I burnt myself on the tap waterThings we liked:1. Kitchen was very cute and well appointed for cooking2. Location was fantastic3. Blankets were placed throughout the house for chilly evenings4. Well decorated5. Clean!6. Smart tv for evening entertainment

We obviously booked this based on the reviews, but also the looks and vibes. Had everything we needed for our 3 days staying here, the family room was great, but we found ourselves mostly sitting at the kitchen table playing games or eating. The upstairs was good, each bedroom had a different mattress. The bathroom has pass through doors that can be used by either bedroom. The laundry machines came in handy, but the loads that it fit were on the smaller side. The location was perfect for our hunger to go see the beach at anytime, also close enough to walk or drive a car for food or shopping.

Nice location - minutes from broadway- quiet neighborhood -easy access one block to the beach Very comfortable stay Unfortunately the fan on the heating furnace was noisy overall and especially at night when we were trying to sleep

Short and Sweet

Location was perfect. Just a block from the beach. In the morning we had breakfast down the block at Ospreys. Weather was a little cool for the beach but a longer stay with better weather would have provided us unlimited time and a beautiful ocean sunset. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay. The By and By was so comfortable and homey.

Great place

The place was great. Nice amount of space close to the beach , 3 minutes . The house is older but very cute and updated nicely . Did have some ants they didn’t do anything about but it was tolerable .

Charming clean house in great location. However, it was missing some pretty basic amenities (no place to wash feet after beach, no dish sponge, etc.) and furninshing was incomplete (beautiful balcony with no chairs, no dresser In the second bedroom, etc.). Overall, I couldn't help but feel I overpaid.
