Great set up for family get away. Two bedrooms en suite and other two at top of stairs share bathroom accessed in hallway. Great open area and outdoor sitting areas. Home well stocked with spices and plenty of plates and utensils.

Gray crossing home

Everything was exceptional. We had a little problem with wifi but otherwise wonderful Stay. Very little info on check out process. Didn’t know what to do with garage and laundry.

Great property. As good as advertised. All of the amenities for a great Truckee vacation. Only recommendation would be to install fans throughout the house. It was hot and the house did not cool down until the middle of the night.

My husband and I and our adult children loved our stay at the Henness Escape. The home was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Tastefully decorated with high end finishes throughout. The room layout was perfect for my family. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone to unwind. Our young adults enjoyed the upstairs lounge area as well as the fire pit outside. The home has a beautiful open airy feel with outside views from the living areas. We enjoyed the walking paths throughout the neighborhood. We would book this home again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 6 nights in July and loved it! The home is about five years old, very well designed and supplied. Within walking distance of the Gray's Crossing golf pro shop/bar/small restaurant, hiking trails and a short drive to I-80 & Truckee. The 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths were perfect for us 6. Ping pong, table shuffleboard, lots of boardgames, corn hole- and the beautiful, well designed kitchen with high end appliances & everything you'd want to cook with, including spices, cooking tools, newer matched glasses, dishware and appliances. There was a propane grill and fire pit, along with an extra tank, though some days cannot be used due to fire warnings. The only minor improvements we suggested were that the main TV had no cable/local channels, just access to free internet or paid content. The front door lock didn't work correctly & locked us out twice, but Turnkey helped us quickly via phone- but will only talk to the primary renter (I couldn't be reached as I was golfing once). There were few bath washcloths and no large bars of soap, so bring your own. The garbage was already full on our arrival but Turnkey coordinated an extra run. The home was impeccably clean and very comfortable. We sensed that neighbors weren't enthused with short-term renters, were inquisitive but not hostile. Note- there are fans but no air conditioning and it can get hot in the afternoons and evenings in summer. We were grateful for use of this beautiful home, felt terms good/it was priced fairly for the season and Turnkey was great to work with.

We liked the layout of the kitchen, dining area and living room. The neighborhood is quiet the neighbors were friendly. The place was clean but didn't have enough garbage bags and the garbage enclosures outside were left with the previous tenants garbage.

With regard to the amount of garbage bag please know that we stock each home with what is called a "starter supply" of basic items. It is not designed to be an unlimited supply but, rather, to get a typical reservation through a weekend or get folks started so that they can enjoy their arrival days, take inventory, and pick up whatever else is needed to get them through their trip. Prior to each stay, we stock dish soap, laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, a dish brush to wash dishes, a few trash bags, dishwasher detergent, bar soap, and the standard bathroom amenities you might find in a hotel. If there is anything else we can do for you, please reach out anytime and let us know. -The TurnKey VR Team

Beautiful House

The house is spacious and comfortable. However, it's far from the lake, but close to downtown Truckee. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Although, you can hear highway 80 from the house, but not intense. We love the restaurant, The Drunken Monkey, Japanese infusion. We've been many times. It's about a 15 minute drive from the house. I wish the house had come with entrance to the community pool. However, it was not offered in the rental agreement. Perhaps, due to Covid rules it wasn't offered. The best part of this property is the beautiful and comfortable house.
