LISTING SPACE
This 1924 craftsman bungalow sits on a quiet, tree-lined block in Mar Vista, on the border of Culver City. It has the kind of character newer construction cannot replicate, with original woodwork, crown moldings, and hardwood floors throughout, updated thoughtfully for comfortable daily living.
A slate front porch with two swinging chairs sets the tone at the entry. Inside, the living room is intimate in scale and well furnished with a couch and television. The space feels cozy rather than oversized.
To the left, two front bedrooms and a shared bathroom with a tub and shower form a natural family wing. One bedroom is set up with a crib and children`s items, the other configured as a kids` room, making the home immediately functional for families traveling with young children.
Moving through the house, the kitchen runs long toward the backyard and centers on a large island, the natural gathering point for cooking and time together. It is fully remodeled with stone countertops, modern appliances, and good cabinet storage. A washer and dryer are located here as well.
The primary bedroom sits off to the left, set apart from the front bedrooms for privacy. Doors open directly to the backyard, and the indoor-outdoor connection makes the room feel larger than its footprint. The en-suite bathroom is updated and functional.
French doors from the kitchen open to the backyard, one of the best features of the home. The yard is lush, green, and enclosed by mature landscaping, with an avocado tree, a lemon tree, a kumquat tree, and additional citrus lining the property. A teak dining table sits in the yard for outdoor meals, with a BBQ along the side of the house. The space feels private and calm.
At the rear of the yard is a fully built-out ADU with its own entrance. Inside is a bedroom, a small kitchen, a workstation with a couch, and a Peloton. It functions as a true standalone unit, well suited as a guest suite, home office, or wellness space, and makes the home a strong fit for remote work during a longer stay.
This is a family-friendly home. LISTING NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
This home sits on McConnell Boulevard, technically in Culver City and a half block from Mar Vista. The neighborhood pairs a quiet, tree-lined residential feel with easy access to some of the best dining and culture on the Westside.
Washington Boulevard is a short walk or bike ride north, with a growing selection of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and bars. Pitfire Pizza is around the corner and a local favorite for families, and the Mar Vista Farmers Market runs on Sundays. Culver City`s downtown district has become one of the most vibrant dining and cultural destinations on the Westside, and the Helms Bakery District offers design showrooms, galleries, and additional dining. Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures are nearby for those in the entertainment and creative industries.
The beach is approximately two miles west, under ten minutes by car or reachable by bike along neighborhood streets. The Ballona Creek bike path connects to the coastal trail for car-free access to the sand, Marina del Rey, and Playa del Rey. Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Venice Beach are a short drive away.
The neighborhood is served by the highly rated Culver City Unified School District and is known for being family-friendly, with parks, low traffic, and a walkable feel. Grocery stores, pharmacies, and everyday essentials are all within a few minutes. The 405 and 10 freeways are easily accessible, and LAX is typically twenty to thirty minutes depending on traffic.
LISTING TRANSIT
Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you are an explorer, we recommend a car.
That said, this is one of the more walkable and bikeable pockets of the Westside. Washington Boulevard dining, the beach, and everyday essentials are all within easy reach on foot or by bike. Uber and Lyft are readily available as well.

There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check-out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check-out.
Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Any violation of the no-smoking policy will result in a minimum $250 fine.
Utility Usage: Utilities are included up to the property`s recent average usage. Any excessive use above that amount may result in additional charges. If applicable, payment for utility overages is due within 14 days of check-out.
