With a brand-new hot tub, newly remodeled bathrooms, and upgraded heating and cooling for year-round comfort, this home blends rustic charm with modern convenience.
Enjoy personalized comfort in every room with mini-split systems installed throughout the home, allowing each bedroom to be individually climate-controlled to your preference—without impacting the rest of the house. Whether you prefer it cool for sleeping or cozy for relaxing, everyone can set their ideal temperature.
Spend your days horseback riding through the pines, hiking forest trails within 10 miles, or enjoying the water at Fool Hollow Lake. Back at home, relax on the spacious deck, gather around the outdoor firepit, or unwind in the bubbling hot tub under a blanket of stars.
Inside, a pellet stove creates a warm, inviting atmosphere in the living room—perfect for cozy nights in. The bright interior offers plenty of space to connect and unwind, whether you're streaming your favorite shows on the Smart TV (just bring your login), playing board games around the dining table, or cooking together in the fully equipped kitchen.
With seven beds and thoughtful family-friendly touches like a highchair, Pack 'n Play, and baby gates, guests of all ages will feel at home. A washer and dryer are available for your convenience, and the property offers free parking for up to six vehicles.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was incredibly well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. The outdoor areas were fabulous. We used the wood or propane fire pits and the hot tub almost daily. The fenced yard was great for our dog and the children's play area would be fabulous for little ones. The lots are large and even though there are neighbors you feel like you're all alone.

A Wonderful Retreat

This is a beautiful, peaceful setting with easy access to restaurants, shopping and activities. The home was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was a dream! I would recommended this highly and plan to return! Lovely!

What a great experience! The home is warm and friendly, with a beautiful view of the trees and the creek below. You can hike right from the back door, sit out and watch the stars. The home is just right or a big family or a few couples. We’d love to stay here

Great place

Perfect for our nature loving family of 6. The walk to the creek was the perfect length for my 2 & 4 year olds who love to explore and climb! It helped keep them busy along with the swing set so we didn’t need to leave the property much for activities. My husband and I as well as our oldest kiddos loved it too. We definitely want to come back! Everything was super easy and we had everything we needed.

Perfect weekend getaway

This cabin is even better than it looks online! There’s a notebook full of helpful information about heaters and such. The hot tub and fore pit were amazing. We had so much space. We were bummed the fire place was out of order during our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and baking. Proximity to the creek was great too. We will definitely be back!!

Cozy little get away!

The rental property itself was great. Super cute home with plenty of seating, comfy beds, everything you would need for cooking, extra electronics charging cords. We loved with fenced in yard and dog door. We were disappointed to find that the fireplace wasn't working, especially because it snowed a lot while we were there. The hot tube was incredible! After 3 days of skiing the hot tube was a necessity. The reason I booked this property was for the fireplace and hot tube. Bummed about the fireplace, but otherwise an great rental. The owners have done a great job! Thank You for sharing your property with us. On another note the management company Vacaca was a nightmare to deal with. The initial communication was poor as they apparently don't bother reading any of the communications sent through VRBO, which created a lot of confusion with our rental dates and billing for which they refused to correct/reimburse. If it wasn't for VRBO stepping up to advocate for us we wouldn't have gotten things straighted out.

Overall a good places, but has its issues

We had a great time staying at this location, but we did have some trouble. It took almost an hour to get in because we were given the wrong code (3 kids and 4 adults standing in the freezing cold after driving 5 hours until we could finally reach someone to give us the correct backup code) We finally got in to find a huge stack of unwashed dirty towels, a hot tub that was disgusting and a fire place that didn’t work. They did send someone right other to fix the hot tub and apologized for the towels. The other thing was that the breaker kept tripping. We had to go outside SEVEN different times in one night to flip the breaker to turn back on our power for all things in the family room. Last complaint was just the trash. We started with a full trash can and it was already out by the road. The birds and animals were getting into what they had left out before we came and there wasn’t anywhere to put our trash during our 4 night stay. It was a holiday, so I understand trash wasn’t being picked up, but at least have it emptied before we arrive! 🙄 Other than those things, it was a great location and the kids had fun sledding just outside.
