The house is super clean, spacious, and conveniently located close to the beach. Check in and check out were a breeze. The primary bedroom and bathroom are huge! The kitchen layout was convenient and we really liked having a washer/dryer to keep clothes and towels clean. Great dog-friendly and kid-friendly space!

We enjoyed our stay at The Anchor Holds. It was spacious and convenient to everything we wanted to do. There were only 2 wash clothes in the entire house and the kitchen didn’t have oils, salt/pepper or condiments so bring that with you. The master bathroom was amazing and the fenced in dog area was helpful. We would stay here again.

Perfect getaway for our doggy beach trip!

House was perfect for our doggy beach trip! Grateful to find a location that was accomodating with our fur babies. Reps answered all of our questions in a timely manner and check-in/out was very easy. Location is perfect, quick 5 min walk across the street to the beach and a quick drive to the local restaurants. Inside the house, we had everything we needed from kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, and an outdoor shower. I would definitely recommend to any group!!

A solid choice

This is a well appointed, spacious house that delivered on many levels. Plenty of room, very clean, and the beds were quite comfortable - they didn't skimp on the mattresses. Kudos for the outdoor shower and foot wash, as well as the Adirondack chairs on the deck. Another big plus were the parking passes for the four beach lots west of the place, allowing us easy access to beautiful sand beaches without many people. Only reason it is not a 5 is because, first, there weren't any kitchen expected, like salt and pepper, Ziploc bags, foil, or even a broom, and second, as a house on an island, the lack of beach accessories, like chairs, towels, umbrella, and the like. Those little touches are what makes a location a 5 in my book.You will not regret booking here.

Vacasa is the rental agency and they provide horrible customer service and follow up. We arrived on a Sunday and our refrigerator wasn’t working. Didn’t notice that until after we lost all of our groceries. It took until Friday before they even sent out someone to assess the problem. Definitely will not rent with them again.

Grandson’s Spring Break

The property was ah-mazing‌ Just as listed. Only issue was that we needed attention to two matters in the house. Loose bunkbeds and TV unable to be plugged in. After several attempts and promises to have someone come and fix these matters, no one ever showed up as promised. That in itself was a major “no no” for me.

Great Family Home

We enjoyed staying at this property for our family of 6. We loved that it was a newer property and the island is wonderful. We did have some concerns. The first thing is the breaker kept getting tripped on the fridge and washer. This created an issue when we arrived and the fridge was hot and we had just arrived with $400 worth of groceries. We flipped the breaker and two days later it happened over night again. Not sure if this means there is an electrical issue, but it also did when washing clothes. Another note for future renters, there are no extras like salt, sugar, foil: things you might usually find in a rental house. Otherwise, everything else was great.
