Complete with private beach and lagoon access, this water-view home has been completely remodeled with custom-designed features and an all-new interior furnished for modern comfort. Nestled on the dreamy west end of the island, you'll have the best of both worlds where you can enjoy private north shoreline beach access, plus a private lagoon in your own backyard. Enjoy endless outdoor living with multiple decks where you can relax in the shade, soak up the rays, or gaze at incredible sunset vistas. The covered deck runs the entire width of the home and the lower sun deck includes stair access down to the private lagoon and bay-front beach area. A swinging bench, a picnic table, and a gas grill add even more ways to play. A private outdoor shower offers a convenient spot to rinse off sand and saltwater.



The impressive interior showcases gorgeous gulf views, along with an attractive layout. Windows and sliding doors in the living area showcase the wide expanse of the beach and water. The kids really enjoyed catching crabs and minnows in the lagoon. Bedroom layout worked great and loved the bunk room.

Great getaway

We took our moms (88 and 86) and met up with a sister and brother in law. The house was perfect for our needs. Well appointed, great location and good use of space. We loved that both decks had gates for our dogs. This was our first time to Dauphin Island. We loved it. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect time to celebrate a high school graduation before starting college. Very relaxing and enough space for our 10! Walked to beach when we wanted more than the bayside. Wonderful weather!

I can’t begin to describe this fabulous rental!!! It was everything described and more. The rental was clean. Had comfy beds and fully stocked kitchen for all our family cooking. The back deck was a beautiful place to sit and eat breakfast. We went to the public beach two days (only a short drive). The remainder of our visit we just enjoyed walking out the back door and down to the beach area behind the house. Very relaxing and clean water. Our family of 12 enjoyed staying at this rental and look forward to visiting again. It was nice to have shower supplies provided in all 3 bathrooms. The gas grill on the deck was nice to grill out fish on that was caught out behind the house. The neighbors next door are extremely nice and local to the area. Only thing I could say negative is bring bug spray! The mosquitoes are horrible out back.

Great place to stay

I almost didn’t rent this home because there were no reviews on VRBO, but I’m glad I did. The house ended up being perfect for our group of 9. It has a great location, was clean and the backyard on the bay was great on days that the Gulf side was in red flags. The bay side was calm and quiet and to be able to walk down just a bit and play in the water was so much better than going to a public beach. In the evenings walking along the bay and looking at crabs was so fun. We rented jet skis and were able to use those in the bay close to the house so we could watch everyone. I would definitely rent this home again and would recommend it for a group around our size. This was our first trip to Dauphin Island and it was great!

Light over the cook stove was dirty, vent hood was dirty. No extra toilet paper or trash bags. Had to make extra trip to store for supplies. Other than that was great

Nice property poor management

The property was nice and accommodated my family of 13 very well.But I have to give a 3 star review because of poor management and we fought with ants the whole stay inside and out. My son had to come down and sleep on couch in the middle of the night because they were in his bed lined up on the wall.I’ve stayed in the same area 4 times before but always used a local agency. But this time I ended up getting a property managed by vacasa which is based out of Portland Oregon and they never fixed anything that I contacted them about. 2 people came two different days but never fixed anything.My daughter got hurt because a porch swing she was sitting on chain broke out of ceiling.You can see where the other side broke before and the replaced the eyebolt with a heavy duty one but left the other for us to break. Wish the would have fixed it. Would have been nice to sit on and read a book.They just need better management and fix the broken things and it would be a really nice property to stay at. We made the best of it and still enjoyed our trip. Just think I’ll be staying at a vacasa managed property again.

Nice Place!

I rented this home because it has 5 bedrooms (we filled them all), had great reviews, and was in a good location. It did not disappoint. The house was clean, spacious, had nice shore access, and was close to the west public beach (about 3/4 mile). The home has been updated nicely and has all new appliances, and the beds are very comfortable. We did laundry several times and used the kitchen a lot. The kitchen has mostly everything you would need to make nice meals, and there's plenty of seating room. There's a coffee pot, griddle, and everything you would need to serve a large group. We did bring a crockpot and rice maker. We used the grill a few times. It did the job, but it's not the greatest grill you'll ever use. The porch on the back is fantastic for sitting and relaxing. The shoreline is a really nice. The water was calm on this side of the island most of the time, except when there was a north wind. The water is shallow for a long way out. We did some fishing from shore, but all we caught were stingrays. We did catch a lot of other fish at the public beach on the gulf side...must use shrimp. Sitting at the beach was very relaxing and the kids loved the sand. We all got sunburned pretty badly, so watch-out. There isn't a stocked pantry, as some places we've rented. So, you may want to bring the following: extra rolls of paper towel/napkins, garbage bags for the kitchen, coffee, seasonings for cooking, storage/freezer bags. I could write much more, but I'm out
