Grande villa privée avec piscine sur terrain de 1600 m², magnifique piscine de 14 m, entourée d'un jardin tropical de rêve très soigné. Emplacement idéal au sud de Phuket : plages de rêve à proximité, pourtant pas de tourisme de masse. Un rêve pour les familles et les couples recherchant la détente dans un environnement reposant. La villa a l'air d'un petit complexe de vacances de luxe et donne ce sentiment. Les pièces sont ouvertes sur une surface habitable de 600 m², très lumineuses et avec un ameublement moderne. Vaste salon/salle à manger donnant sur la piscine avec une grande terrasse, entourée d'un jardin à papayes, mangues et bananes. Grande table en marbre dans la salle à manger, pour 8. Le côté de la maison où se trouve la superbe piscine est équipé de meubles de jardin design neufs et d'une table à manger pour 10 personnes. Immense parasol sur pied de 4 m et autres plus petits faisant de l'ombre pour se détendre près de la piscine.

A Great Family Property

We were a group of 7 staying at the villa, and wanted a nice place to relax after travellng around Thailand for 2 weeks and that was exactly what we got. We found it very spacious and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. The owner was very helpful from my initial contact and all through arranging taxi's from they ferry terminal and then back to Phuket airport, also answering any questions while we were there very quickly. I would recommed the hire of car to get out and about to see what Phuket has to offer, also there is not many resturants within walking distance of the villa, so used the car a couple of evenings to go into the town. The owner advised of which company to use and they were very reliable and delivered the car and collected it from the villa. (Nina's Car). The maid on sight was very helpful and her massages were great, well worth it! The swimming pool was also very well kept and a nice temprature for swimming, in the 6 days we were there the pool maintanance men came twice which was encouraging to see that it is well maintained. We all had a really great time and would definately recommend the villa.

A very well maintained Villa with excellent service from Oum (onsite manager)

The villa is very comfortable and we were welcomed by Oum upon arrival. Oum showed us around and gave explanations on how everything works. There were also guide books available to discover local flavors and places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and the service from Oum was out-standing. We recommend this Villa to any family or group looking for a nice on the island of Phuket.

Great stay!

Me and my 3 friends had a great stay here. The owners are very helpful in regards to information of the best beach/ restaurants in the area and were always there with quick replies when we needed them. The villa is exactly how it looks in the picture..if anything it’s bigger than you think. The maid on site helps keep the villa clean and gives great massages in villa for good prices. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends in the future and to anyone reading the reviews and thinking of booking ...BOOK! You will not regret it!

Allez-y, vous ne le regretterez pas !

Lieu calme, spacieux, moderne, impeccable. Adultes et enfants ont apprécié la piscine. Pratique de commander parfois les repas au resto voisin qui les livre. Attention voiture indispensable. Chauffeur et sa femme BB sitter sont un plus tout comme la femme de ménage. Richard a toujours répondu rapidement à nos questions et nous a aidé à tout organiser au mieux. Yasuko, son épouse, est très accueillante. Merci à vous deux, nous reviendrons et recommanderons villa papaya à nos amis. Monique, Marc, Clémence - Ela et ses trois enfants les AAA

Perfect place to relax

Lots of space, clean, modern and hard not to enjoy :) Quiet area so for a family that just wanted to relax, I found this the perfect place. Resting by the pool, with a cool beer or a drink, listening to the outdoor music - what is not to like? The pool is large enough to actually swim in as well. Lots of good places to eat in the surroundings, on all levels. Very friendly owners, who answer all questions we had swiftly. I can only recommend!

A perfect Christmas vacation

Firstly I need to echo previous reviews relating to the hospitality of the villa owners and the ease of booking and coordination of 3 families, including 5 children all under 4, arriving and departing at different times; thank you. The villa is perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - there is easily enough space and privacy for 3 families and a nanny. There is a large staircase which the children respected and the door frame on the first floor bed room is suitable for baby gate installation (a basic ikea gate fits - we bought our own) Every bedroom is ensuite and an additional outside shower and downstairs toilet and shower room were very practical. The gardens are fantastic and provided endless opportunity for the children to explore. From the villa location almost all Phuket attractions and popular beaches are within a 45 min drive. But to be honest, our favorite beaches were just round the corner (ya noi & noi harn - check the spelling) approx 10 min drive. Overall I would recommend this villa for a fantastic family holiday - and big enough for multiple families.

Villa Papaya!!! We all loved it!!!

We were a group of 7, first time in Phuket. Staying for 7 nights. We were picked up from the airport by a van that was arranged with the owner. The moment we set foot in the villa we loved it. It was not only like the pictures it was even better!!!!!!! The villa was immaculately clean, everything organized and managed perfectly by the the owner Richard and his lovely wife Yasuko. They we so nice and helpful in anything we needed. The pool, rooms, living area and basically the villa is very spacious and is designed beautifully in a way that 4 couples can stay there easily and have there privacy as well. We practically didn't want to leave the villa. The pool area and the sound system with it was that good. We were having lots of fun. Transportation was easy with us. A car is recommended for touristic spots but we didn't bother and there was a really nice driver Mr Lee who took us everywhere, anytime easily and would come pick us up too. Scooters are a easy option, you can rent one just around the corner. We all loved the villa and I would highly recommend it to anybody who looks for comfort, luxury and fun for there vacation. We would definitely come back. Richard and Yasuko, thank you again! Hope to see you soon again. You made our stay more than complete!

Amazing get away

Would really like to thank the owners of this amazing house. The pictures do no justice to how nice this house was to stay in. The pool was a delight to come back to every afternoon and hard to leave most mornings. Rooms were spacious and well presented. Owners were always contactable to help at any. Would go back tomorrow if I could. I can't recommend this house highly enough. I would recommend this accommodation to my best friend!

As the first tenants from China mainland,we spent the whole week in papaya.It`s a cosy place for our family to have a great time.We didn`t expect that the villa is so convenient and luxury.If you like sunset view,the balcony at 3rd floor is a perfect spot for you.It won`t take long for anyone to get familiar with the neighborhood.Renting a motorcycle is a good choice for traveling around or going to a supermarket.It`s a little bit far from the central area like Patong.But it`s easy to hire a driver to take you there with a minibus.The landlord and landlady are a cute couple.They are nice and funny.Like a Chinese saying:“????”,which means this place makes us feel like being at home but only better.I`ve been missing there as soon as leaving.

We definitely will come back

The house and the garden are both big. The water in the swimming pool is cleaned with salt which makes the bath experience very enjoyable. Swimming pool is big enough to swim. The plot is beautifully surrounded by a lake and some greenery but no mosquitos. There are 4 big bedrooms each with own bathroom with showers (no bathtubs). Rooms are spacious with huge closets equipped with safe boxes. Kitchen is also huge and very well equiped. No photoshop on the pictures of the website. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The house, is located near Rawai beach, 5 minutes walking distance from a main road where to buy basic groceries, drink a beer and take taxi. To reach the beach car or moto (renting is 6 Euros a day only including helmet!!) is required. Management is very kind and helpful and come in 10 minutes if anything happened. We definitely will come back.

Traumhafte Villa in der Nähe wunderschöner Strände

Wir verbrachten in der Villa Papaya einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Alles entsprach exakt der Beschreibung und den Bildern, einfach super. Wir wurden vom Vermieter pesönlich am Flughafen empfangen und nach Übernahme unseres Mietwagens zur Villa gebracht. Die Restaurant- und Einkaufs-Empfehlungen waren ganz hervorragend. Wir waren sehr oft direkt am Fischmarkt in einfachen aber ausgezeichneten Seafood-Restaurants. Auch die Küche von "Mama" direkt an der Straße war superlecker. Die Strände sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar, man braucht für den Verkehr in Thailand nur generell ein gutes Nervenkostüm. Unsere Kinder hatten in dem riesigen Pool sehr viel Spaß und wollten oft gar nicht an den Strand. Essen kann man auch sehr gut direkt in die Villa bestellen, sogar Züricher Geschnetzeltes steht auf der Karte und war ausgezeichnet. Alles in allem ein sehr relaxter und interessanter Urlaub. Die Villa können wir wärmstens empfehlen!

Ein wunderschönes, anspruchsvolles Feriendomizil

Alleine der Online-Service, die Abholung vom Flughafen, die herzliche Begrüßung der Betreuerin, die einem bei allen Fragen zur Seite steht (innerhalb von 2 Std hatten wir unser Leihauto vor der Haustür - super!)(Auto braucht man!)das Haus eine Pracht, sehr gepflegt, Haushälterin, Gärtner, Poolwart, alles unterm Strich wir durften einen traumhaften Urlaub in Villa Papaya verbringen! Wetter war sehr schön! Essen waren wir überwiegend an der Promenade vom Rawai, wo viele Einheimische verkehren, sehr lecker und sehr preiswert! Supermarkt gibt es in Rawai einige! Bakery haben wir uns hin und wieder leckeren Kuchen oder Semmeln geholt! Alles leicht zu finden!Strände mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen! Haben auch von Rawai einen Tagesausflug mit dem Boot zur Coral Insel gemacht - traumhaft! Shoppen kann man gut im Festival Center! Wir werden bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal in Villa Papaya gewesen sein!

Perfect family stay aug 2010

Over the last years we have rented several villa's in different countries. In Aug 2010 we stayed for 10 day's in villa Papaya. . It was perfect for our family stay. Perhaps to big for 2 adults and 2 children ( 11 and 17) but having individual bedrooms/bathrooms is extra luxery. The house is spacious and not photoshoped :-) !!. The soft water in the private pool and privacy was appriciated by all of us. The Corner Restaurant ( 5 min drive) provided excellent Thai food without any stumic problems for a very fair price so cooking in the large kitchen was seldom done... Weather wise we where lucky given the monsoon time. Rental Car for this location is recommendable in order so more of Pukhet ( although public transort coudl do aswell) Thanks for offering such a housing for public. Fam. Rutjes, The Netherlands.

A fabulous holiday in a fabulous villa

Coming from France, we spent the whole month of February 2010 in this villa. Everything that was displayed on the site was exactly what could have been expected. There was no surprise, and as soon as we stepped into the villa, we felt at home. The exquisite style and decoration, the large bedrooms with their bathrooms, the well-thought details in every part of the villa, the silence of the environment, the large, comfortable and more than pleasant swimming-pool, the different facilities (shops and services) not far from the house made our stay the most enjoyable we ever experienced. Moreover, the staff was so attentive to us, so respectful with an everyday disponibility, able to solve any problem within minutes that we regretted to have to leave them. They were more than staff with their efficient and friendly attentions. There's no doubt we'll come back. Thank you to them and to the owner.

perfect recreation place

This holiday was definitely the most relaxing i ever had! Everything was perfectly arranged. The day we landed at phuket airport we were picked up and driven to the villa in an airconditioned minibus. That trip took about one hour and holiday begun to start. At the villa we were welcomed by the the local property manager and her husband who showed us everything about the villa. There was even a nice fruit basket and botteled water in the fridge. But we still needed to buy some things, so they drove us to the bank and the store. We wanted also some scooters, which were arranged and delivered a few hours later to the villa, while we were relaxing for the first time at this great pool with the great gardenview. I already miss the palmtrees waving in the wind... before we came there we had some ideas what to do, but then everything changed. The villa, the pool, the garden, the tranquillity... we had no much requirement to go to the beach and lay there around. For us it was perfect, that the villa was not that close to the beach. And it was also great that it was not directly at one of the hotspots. With the scooter we were within 5 minutes of lots of great restaurants and markets. Rawai and Nai Harn are really blessed with good restaurants To name a few: Mando (my favorite), Sala Loi, Baan Haad, Da Vinci, Banana Corner, Crepes Village, M&M Pizzeria, Kan Eang@Pier (Chalong), In Chalong you have the villa market you get everything you could possibly need. If you really want to hang around at a beach, go to Ya Nui Beach in my opinion the most beautiful beach on phuket - definitely the best sunset - and quite small.. not a load of other tourists and you get even a place to lay on without paying 200bht for a pair of sunlongers and a parasoil. A few more words about the villa: Its huge!! and i am lucky to have a huge living room myself, else i would have claustrophobia coming back home ;) This is a modern villa with a modern furniture - lots of stone, aluminium and glass. I love it! The kitchen is huge (every room is huge) and has all you need.. there is a brickgrill in the garden and also a weber grill, but we did not use that - we were just too lazy to doo anything, so we were also happy about the cleaning-lady who came every 3/4 days to clean up and recover the beds. And there is also a nice A/V system (bring your own ps3 - what we did) if the afternoons are getting too hot outside.I have to cut this down no more words left: PERFECT LOCATION and SERVICE!!

Perfect family villa

We were 2 families with children. The private environment, the safety, the pool and the cosy kitchen corner were absolutely the best. Mrs Pond and her husband are super and makes everything easy. You feel that the owner of the house has thought of every small detail, very clean and maintained house. The location is perfect to trips around the island. We had a great time.

Villa to the Stars!

We had ten (10) nights at the Villa in the second week of September 2009 - sadly we had a reasonable amount of seasonable monsoon. However due to the lay out of the pool and the Villa in general we still managed to have a fantastic time. If we were in a normal Resort we would have no doubt gone crazy with cabin fever. No chance at the Villa to the Stars ! Mrs Pond and Mr Joe were well organised and as a result everything from the airport pick up to the hire vehicle delivery went off without incident. Looking forward to a return tour in 2010. MPS

Villa Perfect (Papaya)

There was 6 of us in a group aged between 20 - 25. Villa Papaya is every thing u can imagine and more. Very clean and well looked after. Pool was fantastic. Can not say one negative thing about the villa. Mrs Pond and her staff are fantastic. Villa is in a great location away from all the tourist hot spots. We hired a care for 800 Baht a day made getting around Phuket alot easier. Great commucation between myself and the owner Richard i was never worried about anything going wron. Thank you to Villa Papaya for making our stay in Phuket amazing. Anyone thinking of staying at Villa Papaya and think twice cause without staying at Villa papaya your stay in Phuket is not complete. Will be back in 2010 Thanks form the crew from AUS

Wundervoll

Die Beschreibung spotet nicht der Realität. Wir durften eine wundervolle Zeit in der Villa verbringen. Toller Vor-Ort-Service. Im Zentrum des täglichen Daseins stand der große Pool. Wer allerdings auch gern mal im Salzwasser schwimmen möchte, sollte die Nai Harn Bucht ansteuern (ist im Gegensatz zu den Hauptbuchten Kata, Karon, Patong nicht so überlaufen und sauber). Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es Richtung Phuket Town auf der 4024 (z.B. Supermarkt im Home Pro Village/ kurz hinter dem Kreisverkehr - deutsches Brot u.a. Produkte). An Regentagen ist das Shopingcenter Jungceylon) in Patong zu empfehlen. Gute thailändische Küche finden Sie unmittelbar in der Nähe des Piers auf der Promenade von Rawai oder auch ein Stück weiter Richtung Nai Harn im Foodland (nur für gelenkige Leute - da traditionell auf dem Boden eines Bambusverschlages gesessen wird). Sehr zu empfehlen, insbesondere mit Kindern, ist ein Schnorcheltrip per Speedboat auf die Insel Racha oder Coral Island (Toastbrot od. Bananen nicht vergessen).
