Welcome to Just a Beach Cottage, a spacious and authentic oceanfront retreat designed for memorable family getaways. This classic North Carolina beach house, originally built in the 1950s and thoughtfully updated, blends vintage coastal charm with modern comforts while maintaining the character that has made it a longtime favorite. With unbeatable oceanfront access and plenty of room to spread out, it's the perfect setting for relaxing by the shore with family and friends.

The home features six bedrooms and five full bathrooms, offering comfortable accommodations that include three queen beds, two double beds, and two twin beds. The layout provides both space and privacy, making it ideal for large or multi generational groups. The expansive main living area offers over 1,000 square feet of open great-room space highlighted by beautiful hardwood floors, ceiling fans, and multiple sitting areas. A large dining area comfortably seats up to 12 guests, creating the perfect space for shared meals and gatherings.

The updated kitchen is fully equipped for vacation cooking and entertaining, featuring granite countertops, double ovens, a dishwasher, microwave, Keurig and traditional coffee makers, a blender, and ample cookware and essentials. Entertainment and connectivity are well covered with six TVs with cable, including a 65-inch SMART TV in the main living space, along with wireless internet access throughout the home.

On the ground level, enjoy a dedicated recreation room complete with a TV and a Brunswick slate seven-foot pool table, offering additional space for relaxation and fun. This level also includes a mini-split system for heating and air conditioning to ensure year-round comfort. Additional amenities include laundry machines, games and puzzles, beach chairs, an outdoor grill, and thoughtful touches that make extended stays easy and comfortable.

Step outside to experience true oceanfront living. Multiple decks provide sweeping ocean views and built-in seating, and a private walkway leads directly to the beach for effortless access to the sand. The spacious oceanfront deck at the dune line, just steps from the shore, features outdoor furniture, a picnic table, and a convenient deck shower and foot wash. After a day at the beach, unwind in the large hot tub (please note: the hot tub is closed annually from December 1 through March 1 for maintenance). Gates along the deck and walkway add extra convenience for families traveling with children or a small dog.

All pet-friendly homes include a $175 fee that covers bringing up to one dog. An additional $50 fee applies if you are bringing a second dog. Please note that dogs are the only pets permitted.

BEACH CREDIT
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights, April through October, come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more! The choice is yours.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Linens are included with your reservation and contain the following: flat and fitted bedsheets, pillowcases, bath towels and mats, hand towels, and wash cloths.

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS
As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7-night minimum with a mandatory Saturday-to-Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons.
