Welcome to Playa Del Happy, a spacious and inviting coastal retreat tucked away on a sleepy street in the heart of Lincoln City’s Taft District.

As one of the coast’s coolest neighborhoods, Taft is celebrated for its laid-back artsy energy, local shops, and vibrant surf scene. It’s the ultimate destination for guests who want to experience the Oregon Coast like a true local. Take in the ocean views from two large decks, breathe in the salt air, and enjoy being just a short walk from the sand.

Inside, you’ll find multiple comfortable spaces to relax. The downstairs living room features a cozy gas fireplace — perfect after a day at the beach. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for casual breakfasts or seafood dinners at home. High-speed WiFi is available throughout the house for streaming, remote work, or staying connected.

Two private en suite bedrooms are located downstairs, offering comfort, space to unpack, and a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Upstairs, the expansive bonus room serves as a fun and flexible gathering space. Enjoy ocean views from the bay window, dine or play games at the table, mix drinks at the wet bar, and unwind with movies on the large TV. For a nostalgic touch, over 200 classic VHS movies and a VCR are ready for cozy, old-school movie nights.

The home comfortably accommodates six guests. Up to seven guests maximum are permitted, with additional guests using the queen sofa sleeper and futon located in the upstairs bonus room. Outside, the two spacious decks offer the perfect place for morning coffee, evening wine, and listening to the rhythm of the waves as the sun sets over the Pacific.

The laundry room is available for stays of five nights or longer. Additional bedding and throws are freshly washed and sealed; we kindly ask they be used only if needed to support environmental care.

Playa Del Happy is a place to slow down, reconnect, and create lasting memories — whether you’re enjoying sunset views from the bay window, cozying up by the fire, or listening to the surf from the deck. The hosts are happy to assist before, during, and after your stay to ensure a smooth and memorable coastal escape.
