Sérénité et de détente à son meilleur. Notre charmante petite maison de plage récemment rénovée avec 2 chambres et 1 salle de bains surplombe le rivage et est adossée à deux acres de forêt vierge. Regarder les familles de phoques jouant juste en face de vous, des groupes de cygnes et hérons solitaires glissant par que vous êtes assis sur le banc de la fenêtre avec les fenêtres ouvertes avant.

Vraiment un endroit magique. Idéal pour tout, de la recherche d'inspiration pour écrivains familles qui veulent un peu de temps de qualité ensemble.

La belle nouvelle cuisinière à bois offre une sensation supplémentaire de confort et de détente pour les jours où vous souhaitez vous installer à l'intérieur. Lorsque le soleil brille de mille feux, explorez la magnifique forêt de cèdres sur 2 hectares ou faites une pagaie dans nos kayaks pour deux personnes. Pour une détente totale à la fin de la journée, profitez de notre nouvelle douche à vapeur (avec des lumières infrarouges pour des bienfaits supplémentaires pour la santé), puis détendez-vous sur la grande terrasse pour un barbecue.

Un endroit idéal pour se détendre, prendre l'air et de renouer avec les priorités. Vous ne voudrez plus jamais quitter ...

Nature, Peace and Comfort

This property is an absolute oasis. The location of the cabin is absolutely majestic. It is so cozy and welcoming. The cabin looks out to a quiet bay where seals and birds can be seen daily and the occasional whale or shark at times. The kitchen/living room area has the best windows that swing open to allow in fresh air and sunshine and you can sit on the window seat with your feet outside! The bedroom also has sliding glass doors that open up to the wonderful view. The sunrises and sunsets are all so majestic! I worked here remote during the stay, the internet is great and all my coworkers were jealous of the view! The property is a couple acres and does have a fairly steep incline towards the bottom, but it was easy to navigate with the lights, railing and stairs. My dog and I enjoyed the hikes up and the easy walk to the small park nearby. The town of Mill Bay has your essentials and a few good restaurants, and the town north about 20 minutes has every shopping or dining area you could want. There is a local winery very close by that had delicious wines and good food. This place was a "personal sabbatical" for me, meaning a month long escape from every day life. The shower is this amazing steam shower with rain/music/lights and is so relaxing! This cabin is the perfect place. I highly recommend this place for you. The hosts were very responsive. Book this place, get away and enjoy everything life has to offer!!!

Absolutely as described- beautiful!!!

Our month long stay in the tiny house was a most enjoyable time. The accommodation (tho’ tiny) was impeccably clean and comfortable. So nicely located to enjoy golf (Arbutus Ridge, Chemainus and Cowichan Lake), hiking trails especially Quarry Park in Cobblehill and the in the local community park. The nearby restauraunts and wineries ( esp Cherry Hill) were all great experiences. The only caution I might suggest is that the steep grade down to the house might prove a challenge for any one with even mild/moderate mobility issues.. Definitely recommend parking at the first level (as Kim suggested) esp if you have a large vehicle. Otherwise, we highly recommend a get away at the tiny house in Mill Bay. You’ll adore the scenery, ambience and hospitality.

Simply Unsafe

The Mini-house advertised through VRBO at Mill Bay BC was very much as pictured and described in the ad: a picturesque setting, on the water facing south with a small but full kitchen, laundry and bath with two bedrooms.However, in November when originally enquiring about a 5 week rental, (January – February) it was mentioned there were issues with the furnace but that they would be fixed well before our chosen dates and there was a wood burning stove, which my wife and I are comfortable with. On arrival, in January, the furnace was not working, and the kitchen tap only had a dribble of brown water. We lit the wood stove and the house filled with smoke because the gaskets were burnt out and in totally unsafe condition. The owner then told us where to find two space heaters. Great. But, if we plugged both in the breaker would trip, one had a cord that would heat up after an hour or so and the other had a frayed cord that we were afraid to leave on when we were sleeping. It took five days for technicians to arrive and repair the woodstove and kitchen faucet. The furnace inspection (not repair, just inspection) couldn’t happen until the third week of our 5 week winter rental period, so clearly nothing had been repaired in the 2 months prior despite being assured it would be fixed before we got there. We cancelled and left after 8 days. Although this home is in a lovely setting, the owner is thousands of miles away and there are no local maintenance people looking after the house. There was no one who seemed to really care about the quality of our stay let alone ensure personal safety, and certainly no one ready to actually respond to serious issues. Simply Unsafe. The owner was accommodating in giving us at least a partial refund.

Tiny House Oceanfront Retreat

Location, location, location! The view from the deck and windows of this Tiny House is an ever changing panorama of sea, sky, boats and wildlife - deer, raccoons, seals, otters, herons, ducks, geese, quail and even a mink! Well equipped kitchen and a great grill outside! Owner available to answer any question you may have.

Million dollar location and views.

My husband and I were very fortunate to spend 5 weeks at this amazing location. The cabin was very comfortable. Nice beds, all appliances are great and the steam shower brilliant! Our hosts were attentive and pleasant to talk to. We hope some day we can visit this special place again.

Tiny, but beautiful and comfortable. Gorgeous view. Very private, but a short drive to everything you need. Well-equipped kitchen.

What we liked the best was the million dollar view

Had a great time lots to do wildlife everywhere bald eagle, seal, geese swimming right up to your deck even had a raccoon come by all types of birds in the bay would go back again lots of fun

Amazing ocean front property

What a beautiful spot! The view is amazing, and such peace and quiet. Kayaking in the bay with the seals was pretty cool too. Strip mall and resteraunts about a quick 5 minute drive away. 20-25 minutes to Victoria. You have everything you need here.

Perfect little getaway

This was the perfect little getaway! All the comforts in a cozy cabin. The window seat was the perfect spot to spy tons of wildlife. My family loved it here!

Enchanting experience with an amazing view!

Beautiful cabin with first class style, amazing wood working and all needs met with easy access. The view is breathtaking with all sorts of birds and sea creatures to watch and explore! Will definitely be back as much as possible.

Oceanside Bliss You Won't Want To Miss!!!

Our family completely enjoyed our vacation. The property was gorgeous. The views amazing. Loved the wildlife that also shared the property with us. And we give the owners the highest of praise. Quick to respond. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We plan on booking our spring 2019 vacation at their Hawaii property. Looking forward to booking with them again soon!

My daughter and I came here for a little getaway. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was very comfortable and well kept. Kim was very helpful with all our arrangements. The shopping plaza in Mill Bay has some nice little stores and we were able to buy all our groceries there. We had everything we needed at the cabin to prepare our meals. The wood stove kept us especially cozy! We enjoyed kayaking and taking walks through the woods. The sights and sounds of the ocean are right outside your doorstep. Just lovely. Victoria is not far away so we explored there for a day as well but were happy to get back to the peace and quiet of the cabin at the end of the day. A wonderful place to relax. Can't wait to go back.
