Tiny but mighty 550sf. It features a living room w/ sectional sofa / chair & 40 inch TCL smart tv w/ Sling incl or stream your faves. Upgraded Fiber WiFi! Queen bed& dedicated workspace. Full kitchen w/ 4 burner stove & fridge. Keurig coffee comes with. Shower has great water pressure. Mini split AC!

Remodeled in January 2026 w/ fresh paint, LVP plank flooring, new window treatments, and remote controlled efficient mini split ac & heating system.
Plenty of on-street parking located on Allen st. paves the way to a bright sky colored front door entering into the vestibule of this 4 unit building. Then an antique wooden door leads to the unit itself. This 1st floor apartment was built in the 1920s. It totals about 550sf. It is not large, perfect for 1-2 people but can sleep a 3rd if needed on the living room couch.
The living room has beautiful original windows draped with curtains. There is a sectional sofa, chair, ottoman and an end table with a lamp. We installed a 40 inch TCL tv. Your welcome to use our Sling streaming account which is like basic cable or use your own Netflix, Amazon, hbo account etc. New speedy Fiber WiFi has been installed.
The bathroom has a tub shower combo, and a new navy vanity with porcelain top & gold faucet. We have body wash, shampoo / conditioner for your use. Our “tester guest” for this unit raved about how great the water pressure was and how long the hot water lasted.
The bedroom has a Queen sized bed with new memory foam mattress (med-firm). There is also an ample sized closet w/ hangers and a luggage rack. The window has a black out curtain. Full length mirror & sound machine for comfort.
There is a dedicated work space in the bedroom as well as a remote controlled ceiling fan w/ a dimmer switch for ambient lighting.
Charming kitchen is located on the back side of the apartment. It has newly refinished cabinets with gold fixtures, a 4 burner electric stove, and a fridge / freezer w/ ice trays. We have also added a Brita pitcher, microwave & toaster.
There is a small table for two for dining.
Very basic cooking supplies, plates, and utensils are provided if you’d like to use them. There is also a Keurig coffee machine & some cream and sugar.
Similar to a hotel, this unit has WiFi, a blow dryer and an iron/ ironing board. Coin operated washer and dryer are available in the basement. There is a grill and picnic table in the yard for those who’d like to grill up some meals & eat outside.
You cannot beat this location, it is walkable to everything uptown maumee has to offer, just mere steps away! 5 minutes walk to the Maumee River & Sidecut metro park. Please note that the City of Maumee hosts several festivals and a weekly farmers market during summer. You may find more folks Uptown & more limited parking during those days.
Just a few minute drive to Perrysburg, I -475. 20 minutes from UT, UTMC, Downtown Toledo.
Although your apartment is totally private the building is shared with 3 other units, there is an apartment above this one. This building is 100 years old. It is not soundproof from neighboring units. We do have a sound machine available for guest use just in case.
There is a thermostat located by the front door which controls the new mini split heat & ac system.

The apartment is non smoking including vaping and marijuana.
Regarding pets, unfortunately we only allow cats here. If you’re traveling with a dog all of our other VRBO are dog friendly & most have fenced in yards.
Please keep in mind that staying at an VRBO is different than a hotel. The usual nightly rate of this home is less than $80 although it can be higher during weekends/holidays while sleeping up to 3 guests.
