Nestled on a private 67-acre ridge surrounded by the Cleveland National Forest, this tiny home is more than just a place to sleep, it is an invitation to slow down. Whether you are watching the sunset hit the Pacific Ocean from your private deck or exploring ancient trails, youâll find a level of peace here that only Palomar Mountain can provide.
The Tiny Home
Designed with intentional minimalism and warmth, the tiny home features:
- The Sleeping Quarters: Two plush queen beds (including a unique "floating" bed design) outfitted with fresh linens, positioned to offer forest views the moment you wake up.
- Indoor-Outdoor Flow: Large glass-panelled double doors open wide to a private redwood deck, effectively doubling your living space and inviting the mountain breeze inside.
- Modern Off-Grid Power: While we are far from the city grid, you won't be in the dark. The unit is equipped with a dedicated solar-powered battery system that provides interior lighting and enough power to charge your small electronics (phones, tablets, cameras).
- Artesian Water: Experience the purity of mountain life with water drawn from our own artesian well, a source first claimed on this land in 1892.
The Ranch Experience
As a guest, you have the run of our historic 67-acre sanctuary.
- The Yoga Deck: A short, scenic walk leads you to our valley-view deckâthe ultimate spot for sunrise meditation or stargazing.
- History at Your Feet: Discover the propertyâs deep roots, from the remains of Nate Harrisonâs original stone house to the ancient Native American mortar stones (grinding rocks) located right near the home.
- Nature Trails: Hike through oak groves and pine forests without ever leaving the ranch. Keep an eye out for deer, red-tailed hawks, and bobcats.
Pro-Tip: We are beautifully remote. The nearest store is 45 minutes away, so please bring plenty of gas and your favourite supplies.
