We were generally quite happy with the accommodations. We were disappointed that the grill was not useable due to rust. Very convenient location. Nice backyard. Kitchen was fairly well stocked.

The home was not properly cleaned before we arrived (toilets, dust, numerous spider webs on ceiling fans/lights, dirty dishes, mold on coffee filter, mailbox overflowing with mail, yard debris all over patio). Unfortunately, due to the busy time of year, the management company was unable to send anyone out, so we had to clean, but the home felt dirty the entire visit.

The home was good for pets. Floors were wood and tile. Area rugs could be rolled up. Pets can confined or excluded from areas of the house. The backyard has a fence that could allow small dogs to slip thru.

I booked the property Thursday, 8/20 - Sunday 8/23. First of all, the location is convenient to Trinity University and the A/C works. No owner has visited this property in quite some time. Photos are totally misleading. The steps are rotting and the front door is dirty and needs painting. Next door is a ramshackle shack with the roof caving in and possibly occupied by homeless people. We were unable to park off the street because the gate leading to the rear of the property was “broken” and had been for some time. We were told to park on the street. After going out to dinner, when we returned to the location, there were cars parked for blocks on both sides of the road. We had to park almost 2 streets over just to find a place to park for the night at the location. There were leaves and limbs and dirt everywhere making it impossible to use the patio area. The cushions from the table were on the ground and filthy. The nice outdoor grill featured in the ad is unusable. It’s totally rusted. Inside the house, hot water was sporadic at best, but available in the toilet because the hot water heater filled the toilet when flushed. It was almost impossible to open the side door with the metal steps. The locking mechanism is at an angle on the inside of the door and the could not be used as the handle was broke. Cheap painted chairs for the table. Flat worn out pillows and no closets. They were all locked but one. Not as advertised.
