Aloha! We’re Chris and Chip, your hosts, and we’re so glad you’re considering our oceanfront retreat for your stay on Kauai.

We both love to travel and have spent many years staying in short-term and vacation rentals across Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia/New Zealand. Along the way, we’ve learned what truly makes a stay special—not just beautiful surroundings, but thoughtful details, comfort, and a sense of ease. We’ve taken the best of those experiences and intentionally incorporated them into this home.

We are fortunate to live on Kauai and never take for granted how special this island is. For us, hosting is about sharing that sense of wonder. This condo holds a truly rare location—directly on the ocean, just steps from the shoreline, in one of the most sought-after buildings in Poipu. Being able to offer others the opportunity to experience this setting, with its constant connection to the sea, is something we genuinely care about.

When we prepared this home, our goal was to create a peaceful, private sanctuary that feels elevated yet relaxed—similar to a high-end hotel, but quieter, more personal, and designed for restoration. We are always thinking about the guest experience: how the space feels when you arrive, how well you sleep, how easy it is to settle in, and how comfortable you feel throughout your stay.

We take pride in maintaining the property to a high standard and ensuring it is meticulously cleaned between every visit. We’re also happy to share local recommendations, favorite beaches, dining spots, and tips to help you experience Kauai like someone who lives here.
