With most destinations within easy walking or biking distance, you can park the car and truly settle in. The Newport Pier area, including the historic Dory Fishermanâs Fleet, Seaside Donuts, and Charlieâs Chili, is an easy 10-minute stroll along the boardwalk. Continue a couple of miles farther to the Balboa Pier and explore even more local favorites, including the historic Pavilion, the Catalina Island Flyer, the Balboa Island Auto Ferry, the Fun Zone, and Rubyâs Diner at the end of the pier for classic burgers and shakes.
RECREATIONAL GEAR:
