This unit features the original wooden ceiling from 1895.
Bright, spacious and full of character.
Please note: all bedrooms face the street. While the house itself is very quiet, typical city noise may be noticeable for sensitive sleepers.

The information was very thorough and Marion was incredibly helpful, even going over some of the history of the building. We felt very welcome and hope to return in the future. Comfortable beds, sweet little touches, and a breath of history in every part of the house.

Was very very beautiful. Loved having 2 bathrooms and the place was immaculate! The host was also great. He spoke excellent English and greeted us at the door and helped us check in. He also gave us the history of this apartment. It f we go to Berlin again this will be where we stay.

Phenomenal stay in Berlin!!

The apartment is beautifully appointed in a gorgeous restored building. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. We loved the apartment and the neighborhood was tremendous. Quiet and close to everything. The subway is a few minutes walk away and very accessible. Great restaurants as well. Hosts were terrific and very responsive.

Phenomenal Experience

This apartment is more than a vacation rental. It's an experience. The location is amazing, just a short walk to Check Point Charlie and the train station making everything in the city accessible. The building itself is breathtaking and the owners take care in every single detail. Even down to providing us with toothbrushes and q-tips. This is truly an exceptional apartment and one of our favorites from our 3 weeks in Eastern Germany.

There are double windows. Please let us know of any problems during your stay. sometimes haüppens that they are not firmly closed and you get more noise from the street. 200 meter south is starting the pedestrian zone. There is no drive through trafic. We have a unique position. 300 meters away from Checkpoint-Charlie on the most famous street, but very quiet because there is no drive through trafic. Please look for Mehringplatz on the map. Added taxes are in detail explained. Please ask us and we can show you were to find it.

A piece of history

This 125 year old apartment building is a true rarity--the only one in the neighborhood to have survived the WW2 bombing unscathed. It has been lovingly restored since and staying in it made us feel connected to its astonishing history. The apt was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Berlin and Christmas markets

Property was perfect for us, parents and 3 adult children for 5 people total. The location was excellent close to the U-bahn, restaurants, and groceries. We toured Berlin and had a great time.Hosts were very gracious and quick to respond to my inquiries via the app or email. I appreciated the detailed check in instructions. The detailed instructions inside the apartment were great and we referred to them often. The apartment was just as pictured and stocked with everything we needed to have breakfast as well as a lunch or two. Thank you to our host. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely space!

Very well appointed apartment. Looked just like the pictures. There was a charge for parking that was not listed and a “city tax” which ended up costing us 100 more than we had anticipated. Had we known about these additional fees we may have chosen to stay elsewhere. Check in process is very involved and confusing. Make sure you have good internet and can access the information and videos before arriving.

Great stay in Berlin!

This apartment is bright and lovely and worked so well for our family of 5 adults. We were all very comfortable with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms of 11C. I thought the check in might be a problem from the instructions but it went very smoothly. We only wish there were three keys since there were 5 adults in the three bedrooms. The apartment location is close to Checkpoint Charlie U station which made it very easy to get around Berlin, it is also very walkable to many locations like the Gendarmenmarkt and Potsdamer Platz for the symphony, which we loved! We had a wonderful time in Berlin!

First trip to Berlin excellent location

Very comfortable, very well equipped with comfy beds. Check in was super easy, host had all the what’s? Like garbage, how does the oven work etc with check in instructions. The building is a historical landmark and we love old buildings, tall ceilings, but you still had good internet and modern amenities. The neighborhood has many grocery options and coffee shops. Easy walking distance to check point Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate. The topography of terror is an excellent museum and also in walking distance. We loved Berlin and we felt very safe and comfortable in this apartment.

Lovely stay

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in Berlin and in this flat. Coordinating w Nino was very smooth. Following his detailed instructions for check in and out were easy. You can tell that there has been a. Lot of love and care placed into this house - it is well maintained and cared for and very clean. Very thoughtful on what has been provided for the guests. Everything is cozy. You are in an old building, but as the book on the renovation will show, it has been completely modernized but maintains the beauty of the old building. The building is well located, an easy walk or train ride to get to anywhere. Definitely check point Charlie. We loved our stay!

L appartement est très spacieux et de très bonne qualité, avec un style moderne dans un immeuble d époque , il est très bien situé, proche du centre a pied et proche du métro pour aller plus loin . BERLIN est une ville à découvrir , pour un week-end il faut se promener dans les différents quartier pour bien comprendre l Histoire de cette ville , les habitants et les commerçants sont très accueillant....essayer cette ville vous ne le regretterez pas

Gorgeous apartment in the ideal location

We rented the apartment for two weeks so we could explore Berlin. It was beautifully restored, immaculate and very comfortable for our family of four. Nino was always extremely responsive to any questions we had. She also shared her personal recommendations as a local on what to do on Berlin on hot summer days. We highly recommend staying there.
