Lumineux et spacieux appartement avec des plafonds en stuc, entièrement rénové, de nouveaux meubles, Comme l'appartement dispose de 3 grandes chambres à coucher séparées, il est idéal pour les parents et les enfants avec leurs grands-parents, mais aussi pour les collègues en voyage d'affaires. Un très bon chauffage central fait de l'appartement un lieu de retraite confortable même en hiver. Il y'a une cuisine moderne et toutes les installations. Ce sont les charmants appartements typiques de Berlin d'où vous pouvez facilement atteindre tous les sites. Appartement absolu non-fumeur!

Beautiful place and great location

Gorgeous property which is really well stocked (lots of dishes, a little toiletries basket, extra pillows/blankets) and only a short walk to the underground. Our whole family enjoyed the stay, and I would book there again.

Berlin Visit

The property was located in a family centric community. Slower pace but still lively throughout the night. Berlin Tiergarten Apartment

We loved our apartment for our stay. We had everything we needed. Our hosts, Helmut and Sieglind were very responsive, prior to our arrival and called to make sure our check in was smooth which was very kind. They provided places to visit, restaurants, etc. We were about 2.5 km from the Main Train Station which was an easy walk when going to explore the city or catch the Hop On Hop Off bus. We were very close to some very good restaurants as well. Overall an excellent place to stay! Thank you.

Stunning property in Berlin Suburbs

The Air BB was beautiful, comfortable and in a safe and interesting neighborhood. It was an easy walk to a variety of restaurants and grocery store. The U-Bahn was a 10 minute walk and an easy ride to the main attractions.

Super clean and conveniently located from two train stations

Soon after our arrival straight from the airport, one of our hosts met us at the door to provide us with the keys. Later that day we walked a few blocks east to enjoy dinner at one of the recommended restaurants. A train station is also there. The next morning we walked to a coffee shop as well. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our hosts were accessible and fast to respond to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice flat, great location

It’s a great flat. Large light and airy rooms, comfortable beds, well furnished. Everything you need. 5 minutes from the U-bahn, the supermarket, a decent kebab shop, some good restaurants. On a very quiet road in a quiet block. The check in process was pretty smooth even though we were running late from the airport. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Wonderful, spacious apartment in convenient location

The apartment was clean and bright. The bedrooms are all large and comfortable and we really appreciated the washer and dryer and dishwasher. The hosts were great—pleasant and responsive. Close to the S bahn and U bahn, which run every few minutes and you can get anywhere in Berlin in a short time. The neighborhood was quiet and shopping nearby. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Beautiful apartment in bustling local neighbourhood

The apartment was beautiful, really spacious and very well-equipped. You get a real sense of local living in this area, with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance along with local shops and a huge supermarket. The U-bahn is only a few minutes walk away, so it's easy to get anywhere in Berlin, and only about 15 minutes to Mitte (less in a taxi). I'd highly recommend this place.

The apartment was wonderful- exactly as described - very clean and it had everything we needed for our stay. Check in was exactly as established. The apartment is close to U Bahn station so easy to get around. The street the apartment is on looks over an industrialize area - that seemed very quiet at night - once you go off that street thought there are restaurants and a Lidhl store near by

In fact just around the corner within 5 min. walk there is a huge very good deli (Edeka) including bakery, butchers etc. There are also 4 restaurants next to it at the U-Bahn stop "Birkenstrasse". (5 min. walk). Also the S-Bahn and Bus stops are within 5 min. walk. I am glad you enjoyed your stay

Amazing location, amazing property!

We were so happy with our stay in Berlin. The apartment was absolutely lovely, and it had everything our family of four needed for an extended stay. The check-in process was simple and easy; we had no problem making arrangements to meet to receive the keys and get all the ins and outs of the property. There is an excellent grocery store a short walk away, and very easy access to the s-bahn and u-bahn, which we used regularly. We also took advantage of the many cafes and restaurants located within walking distance. We felt extremely safe, and we were so pleased with the area and the accommodations!

Trip down memory lane

3 generations of women. Oldest lived in Berlin as a child. Youngest worked in Berlin for 2 years before Covid. The Apartment had lots of space and a decent kitchen. Excellent shower.

New Year in Berlin

The apartment is elegant and brighter than the photos suggest. The hostess’s paintings are amazing. The layout of the Kitchen was unusual but worked well when we figured it out. I liked that there were photos of the layout of the drawers and cabinets so I could put things back where they belong. I am going to copy this idea. Unfortunately, I didn’t remember that we had changed the time of check in from 3 to 2. I made the reservation last summer and couldn’t locate all the communications with the hostess. We were charged for the one hour wait.

Fantastic Apartment with a convenient location!

This apartment is a fantastic stay in Berlin! Located 5 minutes between a U-bahn (subway) and S-bahn (commute train) I was able to easily get anywhere I wanted within the city and abroad with a single, seasonal €9 pass (including to and from the Berlin airport). The heart of the city and all of its rich history is less than a 15 minute Subway ride away and the airport roughly 45 minutes on the Airport express train. The apartment itself had all the amenities needed including a full kitchen, laundry washer/dryer, and all the linens needed. I was left wanting nothing. I cannot recommend this apartment any higher. Fiala is a great hostess and you will be served well!

Apartment at Alt Moabit

We found the apartment spacious, clean and very lovely. I appreciated the beautiful high ceilings and historical feel it had. I was glad for the appliances( dish washer, washer, dryer) but found the dryer to be very slow. I would suggest having a clothes hanging rack in the apartment would help if a family is trying to do laundry. The area where the apartment is located isn't all that interesting and parking a rental car is a nightmare. ( as it is in all of Berlin now) Overall, we had a good time here and we were comfortable. When the shower drain kept backing up the owner was very quick to answer our call and solve the problem. This is a lovely place and if you are prepared to walk and climb steps( the lift doesn't go to the floor where the apartment door is) this would be a good choice for you.

Dear Jane, thank you for your review. I was very surprised about it. Public transportation (Busses, S-Bahn and U-Bahn) are all within 5 minutes walk which is the optimum you can get in a big city like Berlin. It is absolutely not necessary to climb any steps to get to our apartment. Like in most 100 year old buildings in Berlin the lifts were built in very late and due to a lack of space the entrances of the lifts are mostly IN BETWEEN the floors. So when you want to reach our apartment in the second floor, you just have to take the lift to the 3rd floor and walk a few steps DOWN. No need to climb any steps. Regarding the dryer: As you might have noticed there is a condensed dryer which means the moisture is collected in a container inside the machine. There was no chance to lead the vapor via a pipe outside the building. That sort of dryers are a bit slower than others which can lead the moisture directly outside. On the other hand our guest do not wash towels or bed linen, but only a few absolutely necessary clothes during their travelling. You might remember that I had sent you a detailed list of parking spots without any fee close to the apartment. When the community changed their parking policy in 2021 we cycled the whole area to make it easier for our guests to find a good parking spot close by. May be you forgot about this list(?) Spacious, elegant, and convenient apartment

The apartment was exactly as listed. It is very spacious, with large bedrooms (3) with lots of room to spread out, A large full bathroom and a powder room next to it. All of the furniture is comfortable, with excellent lighting. The many large, modern windows provide lots of natural light. It was great to have easy to use appliances, and having a washer and dryer was ideal for our two-week stay. The kitchen has a plenty of dishes and cutlery and we had the various pots and pans we needed for cooking meals. The neighbourhood is very handy to a large supermarket, reasonably-priced restaurants, and a pharmacy. It is a short walk to the Birkenstrasse U-Bahn station, and more or less equidistant to two S-Bahn stations on the ring line. We were able to travel all over Berlin very easily using a combination of the U-Bahn and S-Bahn to connect to buses and trams. The street was generally very quiet, and when there was noise from people in the street when we were going to bed, it was short-lived and we slept soundly in the comfortable beds. The apartment is close to a school and we enjoyed seeing parents and children arriving in the morning and the happy sound of children playing. The hosts were very prompt to respond to questions. All in all, this was one of the best rentals we have experienced.

Charming, warm and well-situated Berlin apartment

We stayed 4 days at this lovely apartment - my daughter, myself and two friends - and wished we had booked for longer! Everything went smoothly, starting with the helpful emails from the owner, being met on arrival and shown around the flat, to the flat itself. Being in Berlin in February we expected the cold but the flat was really warm, and incredibly quiet despite traffic below. The kitchen is far better equipped than my own at home, and beds very comfortable. You can get into central Berlin by bus in 15 mins, and the nearest underground station is 8 mins walk away. The neighbourhood has a very safe feeling and 4 ladies had no problems walking about in the evening. Graffiti is everywhere in Berlinn and I think must be regarded less as vandalism and more as art - I only mention at as we were rather taken aback on arrival at the apartment block, and in fact the whole street, to see the graffiti! If that is your reaction then be assured that the you will get used to it very quickly, and it in no way relates to the inside of the building. One nsuggestion we would make is for an additional sofa or armchairs in the living room, as there were not enough comfy seats for the four of us in the evening - otherwise it was all perfect!

Yes, Berlin is very colourful regarding graffiti art, so is our area. Thanks for the tipp with additional sofas and chairs in the living room. We have ordered them immediately and our next guest will already be able to enjoy them.

Lovely apartment and perfect for a long stay!

My sister and I are retired and we spent a month in Berlin at this apartment. We found the apartment to be enormous, lovely, comfortable and with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The presence of a washer and dryer was extremely helpful. A few things to be aware of - the apartment DOES have an elevator, but it is 1/2 floor up, so if you have major mobility issues, this could be a problem. This is because most older residential buildings in Berlin do not have elevators nor air conditioning. The latter proved a bit of a problem when the weather reached the low 90's for several consecutive days. There was only one fan in one bedroom. The metro is close - about 1/3 of a mile away and a huge grocery store (Edeka) just beyond. In the other direction you can find the S-bahn station not far away which is above ground. We were first time visitors to Berlin and thus unaware that graffiti is ubiquitous in the city. Consequently when we arrived we were a bit put off at the graffiti on nearby buildings and wondered if we were in a bad neighborhood, but we quickly realized that this is just the way it is everywhere, in all neighborhoods, and our neighborhood was great. It was full of young people just starting out with small children. We felt very safe in the apartment and in the area. It's a lovely apartment in a great location with multiple restaurants and cafes nearby. We heartily recommend it.

Un bel appartement spacieux et lumineux, bien équipé à une dizaine de minutes du métro, supermarché, pharmacie et restaurants pour visiter Berlin. Nous avons apprécié le quartier résidentiel et calme, la literie bien confortable et le cadet pour faire nos courses! L’île aux musées est à 30 min à peine et la gare à 15-20 min de métro. Très pratique et confortable

We fell in love with this apartment in Berlin/Mitte because of the high stuccoed ceilings, the spacious and bright rooms and the quiet house and surrounding although it is centrally located. Shops and numerous cafés and restaurants are just 5 minutes away as well as public transport. A perfect and cosy retreat in a busy town. There is always space enough for our big family and very close to all public transport, shops, restaurants and fitness centers.
