Pet friendly log cabin in the heart of the Catskills that can sleep 13 people!

Come enjoy our pet friendly log home off a quiet back road on seven rolling acres! The east wing includes two bedrooms, one bath, living room, dining room and the kitchen, while the west wing features two bedrooms, one bath, a loft (great for teenagers!), and its own living area. Each wing has its own gas fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. Outside you'll find trails, forest to explore, & a seasonal creek. 20 minutes to both Windham & Hunter Ski resorts, & an ABUNDANCE of summer & fall fun.

Each of the 4 bedrooms on the main floor has a queen size bed. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have their own televisions. The loft up stairs has 3 twin beds perfect for older kids/teenagers. The kitchen is stocked with all essentials needed to cook all meals in house! The property is quiet and it is safe to walk your dogs on the property or on the road for miles without even needing to get in the car to hit the trails. Enjoy coffee on the front porch in the warmer months or in one of the two living rooms- in front of the gas fireplace, on a cold and blustery day! You are a short drive to just about everything and yet secluded enough that you will only hear the sounds of the birds and frogs if you listen closely enough. Wildlife is abundant so please be mindful of this during your stay. We would love to share our dog friendly home with you and your family- 2 and 4 legged (we even have dog beds, bowls, treats, toys, poop bags, and a large crate if needed).

We are close to one of the trail access points (Grand Gorge) connecting to the beautiful 26 mile Catskill Scenic Trail (a retired railway) where you can hike, bike, cross-country ski or snowmobile over a very gentle grade with only a 400 foot elevation- this is some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.

Catskill Park access is 15 min away and is a designated wilderness recreation area spanning over 700,000 acres across 4 counties in the Catskill Mountains. There are 2 lakes in this recreation area that are open for paddling or watersports. The North-South Lake and Colgate Lake (both about 40 min away). There are countless hiking trails and over 120 miles of mountain bike trails for discovery.

Plattekill Mountain is a a family-owned establishment for skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing and only 20 min from our home.

Windham Mountain is about 25 min away and is not just a great ski resort, but also offers year-round access for those who are outdoor enthusiasts or just want to visit the shops and eateries.

Bellearye Mountain Ski Center is a 30 min ride from our home and is known to have the highest skiable peak in the Catskills as well as the only gondola in the Catskils. In the summertime, there are lots of hiking trails, the Belleayre Beach and disc golf for those who enjoy that.

Hunter Mountain is yet another great ski resort about 30 min away.

Pratt Rock is often called "New York's Mt. Rushmore." At a mere 15 min ride from the house you can access this must-hike-to-see 3.1 mile round trip hike (900+ feet elevation gain) which will award you several spectacular views of the surrounding valley along your hike.

The Catskill Mountain Yoga Festival takes place July 24-26th in Delhi and is about 45 min away- our house can fit all your Yogi friends during this weekend where you can reconnect and recharge.

Kaaterskill Falls is a 40 min ride and allows one to experience their own spiritual awakening at the falls. The hike to the falls from the parking lot is 1.4 miles and offers some of the most breathtaking scenery.

Tha Pakatakan Farmers' Market is a great destination for breakfast or lunch while visiting local vendors such as farmers, herbalists, and craftspeople- less than 20 minutes away.

The Mountain Top Arboretum is a natural sanctuary only 40 min away for anyone interested in horticulture, birding, geology, local craftsmanship, hiking and snowshoeing!

Our home is about 1 hour from the historic and funky town of Woodstock where you can visit lots of great restaurants and shops. Also great hiking!
