Condo is far from "luxurious." Lot of things wrong inside and out with the property. Carpet is completely worn out and in need of replacement, patches to the wall are unpainted, 2 windows were inoperable, furniture was broken and worn. Hallways were in a poor state with trash, paint and caulking on the carpet. One of the TV (bedroom 2) didn't work. One of the box fans didn't work. Condo was about 85 when we arrived and it took about 5 hours to cool off as there isn't AC.
Overall very, very nice. Best balcony in the whole building and view was FAB!!! The only issues were that the king size beds in the 2 suites were too big for the bedrooms, which were actually quite small. Carpet is stained, needs to be replaced or removed all together and just use area rug in living room.
We were so excited about this trip and this property, but it was so incredibly disappointing. Although the construction is mentioned in the listing, it does not indicate how impactful it is. It is so loud and disruptive! The unit is tired and in need of updates and the rooms are much smaller than they look in the photos. Overall it was OK. Just OK.

Disappointing
Our family has made Keystone our Thanksgiving destination for 10+ years. We either stay at RedHawk or Springs. It was very disappointing to see the construction that completely disrupts the traffic patterns and convenience to the gondola and shops. Also, the pictures online were not accurate depictions of the condoâs current state. It was run down with carpet that was not appropriate for a toddler to crawl on. We purposely upgraded to a penthouse this year, but that was certainly not an upgrade!
I wanted to love this place but, several factors made it impossible
This was one of a half dozen trips weâve made to Keystone for Labor Day weekend (October Fest and Bier Burner). We selected this resort based on past stays and direct experience with accommodations and amenities. We selected the room based on size. What we experienced was total disappointment. The room size and deck were as promised. No issues there. Beyond that we were:
-Surprised to see how run down the interior was (the listing pics are clearly from a much earlier time) this included lumpy/broken down mattresses on all beds, dusty couches, a cracked cooktop oven and several windows which were inoperable and master tub whose coating had chipped down to a red surface
- Disgusted with the state of the outdoor amenities including 1 broken hot tub, the alternate hot tub with an oily sheen, and a constant film of dead bugs on the pool floor and floating aboveâŠwe inquired with on-site staff about the pool but they were unable to help (we were offering to skim it if they could provide a net)
- Woken abruptly every morning at 6:50am by screeching construction happening directly behind the deck and bedroom windowsâŠevery.single.morningâŠ.When in the room, we heard it until 7pmâŠ.every.single.night.
No rest, no relaxing, no pool fun. A big space with a lot of dust and noise.
This property was very nice and just as advertised. The pools and other facilities at the Springs is great. The only downside is construction in the area forces a longer treck to the village and the lifts. I assume this will be alleviated once construction in the area is completed.
This property was great. The layout and amenities were great. Very east to navigate and easy to get to. It was quite warm and we had to get instructions on how to open the windows, the fans were not enough. Also, one of the TVs didn't have as many viewing options, but overall a great condo, would definitely stay again.
This is a great condo in a wonderful location. Would be 5 stars, but the bathtub in the main bedroom wasn't draining, which was a bit gross while showering, and the carpet is looking like it could be replaced. Outdoor pool and hot tubs are great!! Wonderful family vacation location!
You canât beat the ski in ski out location of the Springs. 5 minute walk to the Gondola and all the River Run amenities.
The unit is well equipped for eating in and has a nice outdoor deck (although limited furnishings outside).. Bedrooms are comfortable and bathrooms neat and clean.
Management was immediately responsive to our one call.
The Sorings building looks like they are undergoing some upgrades, which is nice given its about 20 years old I believe.
A little paint and new carpeting and it will be like new!
Highly recommend this property.
The condo was very clean, quiet and well maintained. The management personnel were very friendly and responsive. The condo access was difficult. There are 2 elevators (only 1 of them goes to the 5th floor) and the other was broken for most of our stay. At one point they were both broken. Durning peak times, it was a 10-15 min wait to get an elevator. The parking garage is very nice and heated. We had a large 12 pax van and I found it much easier to park on the lower level. The ski locker wasn't particularly large. If you have more than 3 people skiing, if will be difficult to store everything in the locker. We had 5 people and just brought some of the equipment back up to the condo or stored it in our vehicle since the garage was nice and warm. Our youngest was 2 years old and really enjoyed the playroom in the building. Overall, we really liked the condo and loved the location, but the elevator situation was very frustrating.
We stayed in Springs 8912 for 3 nights. First, the view from the huge deck is fantastic, I was able to see my kids ski down the mountain and look into the pool area to see when it was busy. Easy, convenient access to the gondola and river run village. Plenty of room and space in the condo. Washer and dryer is helpful. Elevators can be slow at busy checkout times as only one goes up to the 5th floor. I would stay here again.
Great! Check in is a bit of a hassle because it is not on property. The hot tub experience was awful! They close the hot tub some days at 5pm and others 8pm. You have to have reservations. We tried but every day we were there was completely booked. It is because of Covid rules even though it makes no sense...Covid only comes out after 8? Anyway, other than that it was great! Really good location and views from the room!!! Huge balcony!
Nice location for skiing/parking a 2nd car is an issue
property was good; we enjoyed the stay; management was very responsive; the microwave has a sensor issue when you saute food on the range top. you have to shut the breaker off to stop the beeping. you can turn it back on after the range cools down. we had a second car and dropped it at the free North lot when we picked up our ski rentals. had an 80 dollar ticket since there is small print on the parking lot signs that isn't on the large signs that say free parking. Maybe a map of where that free parking is would be a helpful link for the property.
Fantastic location and well appointed, spacious condo in the Springs. Chose to come here during off-season due to COVID-19. Love the gas grill on the patio, kitchen had good equipment and condo had plenty of space for our family. Heated pool was great and we were close to lots of great hikes and bike rides. When we arrived there were some things broken in the condo-- the windows were missing cranks so couldn't be opened (problematic since no A/C) and the main door to the balcony literally fell off the first time we tried to open it. The building was responsive but it took them 24 hours to come and fix it (start of day 3 of 5). The only other issue was that despite signs, many other guests ignored the mask requirement which we did not appreciate-- but that is not the fault of the Springs/management. Overall I would highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again.
The location was the best in Keystone - a very short walk to the gondola. In the morning, we could see how long the lift line was from the living room window / balcony! The condo was beautiful - we had plenty of space. Everything was pristine and working perfectly. The garage level lockers were a big plus - even a ski repair work bench. The garage was warm and spotless. We sat on the balcony after skiing for drinks and watched people ski to the village. Most importantly, the reservation process took a few clicks, the website pictures were completely accurate, check in took minutes, we arranged for late check out, and didn't have to do anything upon departure. There were zero surprises with the process and arrangements. Just perfect - we will be returning!
Facility was prefect for our family, who I've taken to Keystone for 19 years during Christmas - first at Jack Pine, then for the last ~ ~ 10 years at The Springs. Sky Run staff is first class in every way = very helpful, accommodating, & pleasant. Never had a problem at the Springs. See you all next year.
-- Platinum level top floor penthouse with sweeping views of the Keystone slopes from the roomy deck. -- Underground heated parking -- Access to the exclusive Springs pool, hot tubs, fitness room, and sauna.
