Welcome to the Honeymoon Bay Hideaway, a quintessential Whidbey beach home sitting on 115' of low-bank waterfront on Honeymoon Bay, centrally located between Langley and Coupeville. This classic 1924 beach rambler has been fully remodeled throughout, featuring a light-filled, open floor plan with soaring ceilings, picture windows, and French doors showcasing the gorgeous water view. A large one acre lot offers multiple areas for outdoor recreation like lawn games and beach combing, and is completely fenced for children and well-mannered dogs. Bring your own kayak or small boat and head out on the Bay exploring or crabbing from the private small boat launch. Soak up the sun from the expansive view deck or enjoy your coffee under cover on a rainy day, either way you'll have front row seats to watch the waves and the wildlife (deer, rabbits, eagles, a variety of seabirds, and occasionally whales, sea lions, seals, and otters). You should find everything you need to make delicious meals in the well-appointed kitchen or out on the deck with the new outdoor BBQ. Should you need to check into the office while you're here, there are two separate work stations and wifi connection. When it comes time to relax, sink into the large sofa sectional for movie-night or cheering on your favorite sports team, or help yourself to the assortment of games, puzzles and books. And at the end of your day, retreat to the 3 bedrooms, each featuring comfortable mattresses and cozy bedding: The "Crab Room" with King bed and 3/4 bath ensuite, the "Ferry Room" with Queen bed, and the "Salmon Bunk-Room" with 2 twin beds and a twin bunk bed. Another full bathroom is conveniently located just down the hall. The home stays warm in winter and cool in summer with full-house heating and air conditioning, great room gas fireplace, and peace of mind generator back-up. Whether you’re playing outdoors or relaxing indoors, this superb retreat offers everything you need to explore everything Whidbey has to offer. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed upon approval at $30/night/dog pet fee.

Everything about the property was amazing. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, great location, amazing views, it was perfect. Our family and two dogs had an amazing few days here. The hosts were super communicative through the booking process and check in, we will definitely be staying here again.

Wow! This property was amazing. Everything was in pristine condition and the view of the bay was incredible. We all spent much time on the deck viewing the wildlife and relaxing. We enjoyed a trip to Deception Pass and a whale watching tour. Would definitely stay here again!!

This home is a beautiful peaceful oasis! You can tell that the owners have put a lot of love into restoring this home. We needed a quiet place to unwind from our cruise and this home was perfect. We loved watching the seal swimming outside every morning as well as bald eagles, deer, and bunnies. Great location with easy access to ferries and local cuisine. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing time on the island. Thank you so much for the perfect end to our trip!

We watched herons catching fish from the couch. We watched bike racing on the couch while eating popcorn on the big tv that was very easy to use. We had coffee on the deck each morning, drove to Langley twice, once to buy a Whidbey pie and the next day for dinner. And sat by the fireplace. Lovely rental

This rental home is an absolute jewel! We spent Mother's Day weekend with near perfect weather enjoying the fantastic home with large open space and a magnificent chef's kitchen! We spent all of Saturday on the deck enjoying the view and the wild life. We were able to watch 3 orcas splashing, diving and spouting on the other side of the harbor. We highly recommend this rental!

My family (5 adults) had an absolutely fantastic stay. The house is very spacious and very well appointed, with plenty of kitchenware and seating for everyone to be comfortable. We brought our dog and the fenced property was great to let him run around in either the back or the front yard. The house is tucked away and feels very private. The beds are comfortable and everything just worked perfectly. We will be back! Highly recommend.

This home is beautiful and very comfortable; it was us, our son and daughter in law, our 9 month old granddaughter and 2 dogs. It was perfect for all of us. Everything we could have needed was there, even children books for story time before bed! Fully fenced yard for our dogs. Amazing view, excellent location. Plenty of room for all us, great layout; I get up early with the dogs and the room the baby was in could not hear us at all. Definitely recommend it!

Betsy and Andrew's home on Whidbey Island rates an excellent rating. The house is beautiful and the location in wonderful. The house gets a 10 plus for cleanliness and being stocked with everthing you need. All the appliances were working and very modern. The rooms and bedding were also excellent. And the house was very child and pet-friendly. There is a fenced in yard which is great for small children and for pets. There is also access to the water which is closed off by a metal gate that is very secure. The owners were very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend this property and we will definitely come back again.

Stayed for the weekend in this immaculate, spacious, lovely and comfortable home with a group of girlfriends, and couldn’t have asked for a better Vrbo experience! Incredible views looking out on gorgeous Honeymoon Bay; the most well-equipped kitchen I’ve ever seen in a Vrbo; cozy fireplace area along with a separate large couch and tv area; super comfortable beds with quality amenities in showers & fluffy towels, and wonderfully close proximity to grocery store, and both Langley & Coupeville - though we enjoyed being at the house so much we hardly took advantage! Huge deck and large with covered bbq and outdoor seating area, with big backyard right on the beach. Hosts were super responsive and helpful with clear (and fun) instructions for everything, easy check-in, plus pet-friendly! This place truly had everything we needed and could have wanted. We all can’t wait to come back to the Honeymoon Bay Hideaway!

Shortly after we set up our reservations, the owner personally contacted me to ensure that all was in order for our upcoming visit.Our family met at the Honeymoon Bay Hideaway. What a gorgeous beach front home. We woke up every morning with warm sunrises. We sipped warm beverages on the long deck and watched birds, otters...and even two whales (one day). We shared meals and played games. It was so nice to be present with our adult daughters.The attention to every detail was impressive. Everything we thought of was available to us.The property has lovely gardens surrounding the home. We visited at the end of March. The gardens were just starting to come alive during this time. Thank you for sharing your hideaway with our family.

Everything was WONDERFUL!! House was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Hosts were extremely helpful and gracious. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless - even giving us a small refund for a situation that was really not an issue for us. The weather was nearly perfect during our stay and we cooked steaks out on the grill a couple nights. We ordered a couple lounge chairs from Amazon and had them delivered so that we could enjoy the wonderful deck even more. On our final weekend, we were treated with several visits from a bald eagle - and on the morning we were leaving, it even perched on a log on the beach. The property is amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the landscaping with all of the various trees, shrubs and plants. The TV is the perfect size and the big U-shaped couch made it easy to stretch out and relax - which was what our trip was all about.

Hello! My husband and I are new empty nesters, having recently sent our kids off to college. We have always been an active family, enjoying all the Pacific Northwest has to offer, especially anything involving water, mountains or wildlife! We especially enjoy quality time with those closest to us, and are excited to invite others to experience Whidbey Island and our Honeymoon Bay Hideaway, a place where memories are made!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

As Seattle natives, we found ourselves frequently drawn to Whidbey Island. No matter the season, we loved the outdoor recreating, wandering the idyllic coastal towns, and the opportunity to kick back, rest and rejuvenate. We were very fortunate to find the perfect hideaway on the shores of Honeymoon Bay. While we are centrally located between Langley and Coupeville, we feel a million miles away at our peaceful waterfront retreat.

The Honeymoon Bay Hideaway is a gorgeous spot with plenty of room to kick back and enjoy waterfront living. With a full acre property and 115' of low bank waterfront it is an outdoor and nature enthusiasts dream. You will feel a million miles away, even though you are only 7 min from Freeland, 20 min from the Clinton Ferry dock and 15 min from the seaside towns of Coupeville and Langley.
