We had a great stay, everything was wonderful. The house was extremely clean and such a beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again when staying in the Madison area.

Randy’s house was the perfect place for us. It’s located on a wonderful lake and included paddle boards and kayaks. There is a lot to do inside the house in the separate game area which includes a pool table, darts, family friendly board games, even Pac Man! Great lake views and a huge well organized kitchen with a large family sized table are a big plus. The bedrooms are very nice, spacious and all four have big screen tvs and king beds.The area is great with good choices to eat and very close to Madison where there is always a lot to do. Randy was a wonderful, responsive host!

If I could give this beautiful property 10 stars, I would. Gorgeous view, comfortable, homey, well-equipped with everything needed for the perfect getaway. Game room is a big bonus! Beds are comfy, kitchen is high end, and overall this is absolutely one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in. Owner Randy was responsive to all messages and we can't wait to come back! Side note, the neighbors are super nice too and have the cutest dog! We went to Toby's Supper Club one night to celebrate our anniversary. Lots of fun!

This was an amazing place to stay!!! I wish I could give more stars. Randy is sooo easy to communicate with. He answers all questions promptly and sends helpful reminders. The property is beautiful. The home is fully stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen is fantastic! The bedrooms are huge and so comfortable! Also, probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. We are thinking of staying here annually when we meet up for a Badgers game. And my husband and I will be bringing our grandchildren here for a fun weekend on the lake. Between the kayaks, the Pac-Man, and all the other amenities, it is a fabulous get away for a family! Thank you, Randy!!!

My senior dog and I took a memorable trip to rest, reset, relax, and safely stay in this lovely home! The neighborhood is fantastic with a nice walkable area and park nearby. The neighbors, local boat outfitter, and local businesses are so friendly (including their dogs), and the property is stunning! I made myself right at home in the well appointed kitchen to make home-cooked meals and even baked cookies. I loved the induction stovetop and grill! The amenities are wonderful and the host (Randy) was in contact with me prior, during my stay, and through departure to help with any questions I might have had. The sunsets are amazing, (you'll be able to see the top of the capitol dome across the lake) the birds were lovely to watch and listen to in the morning from the front deck (which feels like a tree house), kayaking the Yahara river is a must do, my dog was so happy, and the whole place was as cozy as could be. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

This place made for a wonderful weekend! Beautiful spot on the lake with nice views, a big common room, a decently stocked and well labeled kitchen, and games to keep kiddos entertained. Nice neighborhood to walk around with a playground nearby, and about 20-25 minutes to downtown Madison. Nice view of the capitol in the distance. Host was kind and communicative, although noting that you need to finish paperwork in another system outside of VRBO in order to confirm the reservation which was a little confusing to me. Decent value for the nightly rate and would stay here again, but missing some touches that come with a place that's used directly by the owners. The king beds were more firm compared with our party's typical comfort level. Lake water not good for swimming, but great for kayaking/using the SUP after you navigate getting in/on with the high dock and rocky shoreline. Bring a speaker if you want to listen to anything besides from a TV, and suggest bringing extra towels for showers and hot tub. Bring ice if you want to use any.
