Avec l'aimable autorisation de Best of the West, vous profiterez d'une vue imprenable sur le golfe pendant votre séjour au Hangout! Ce condo 2/2 joliment aménagé, familial et convivial fournit tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour merveilleux à la plage. Situé au 1er étage, près du Beach Club et à quelques pas de la plage! Profitez du condo moderne entièrement meublé, avec télévision 50 "dans le salon, WIFI et câble, cuisine enti��rement équipée, laveuse / sécheuse, serviettes de bain et piscine fournis, et tous les lits sont habillés pour votre fête. La chambre principale a un lit king size avec 37 "TV et la 2ème chambre a deux lits superposés avec 37" TV. Le Hangout est parfait pour tout type d'escapade!

Great Weekend

The condo location has an unstructured view of the beach and is close to both boardwalks and the pool. Everything was comfortable, clean and well kept. We had a lovely weekend.

Great Getaway!

We had a nice 3 day getaway! The unit was clean and well stocked. Location was great, close to beach club, pool and beach. The management company was super responsive and ensured all of our questions were answered and needs were met. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Stay

One of the nicest condos we have stayed in at Pointe West. Great view and proximity to ocean. Kitchen is well stocked which makes cooking so much easier. Excellent communication from rental company. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for families

Five minute beautiful walk to the beach. Excellent communication with the property manager. Bunk beds were great for the kids, the house was comfortable and the back porch was breath taking. Would definitely book again.

60th birthday beach fun with family.

My husband and I rented this unit with my mother and sister. My daughter, son in law and 2 young grands stayed in the building next door. Lots of beach, pool and lazy river time was enjoyed. The food at the restaurant was better than expected. The best part was James the property manager who was very friendly and helpful allowing for early check in and later check out times.

Loved our stay

Property was very clean and great for a family with kids. We appreciated the pack and play and booster seat! It was also great to not have to worry about packing paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. So much was provided for us! Condo was located near beach access and pool.

Fun Family Vacation!

Our daughter and her family stayed in your condo for our family vacation. What a beautiful view!! She said it was the best vacation ever! The Beach Club and the lazy river pool were thoroughly enjoyed by our family! Could have done without the mosquitos, but beside that...everything was just great!! Mother & Son Trip

This condo was a great location with easy access to the beach. It had all the amenities we needed. The only thing I would mention is instructions for the living room tv. We were technically challenged & couldn’t figure out how to get to live tv channels but no issues with the bedroom tvs. Thanks!

We have stayed at Point West Resort many times before and always have a good time. We were looking forward to food and beverage service by the pool and no where was it stated it was closed for renovation on VRBO site. Our condo had a nice view but a few suggestions: comfortable chairs in sitting area. Round chairs are awful, need new knives or have them sharpened. They don’t cut anything. Master bed is super soft.

Great Condo

We always stay at Pointe West when visiting Galveston because of the great amenities. We have two toddlers and this condo was perfect for our family of 4. If you have little ones, this place is for you! You won't need to pack much as saw a pack n play and a high chair in one of the closets. They also had a wagon with beach toys. As well as plates, cups, utensils and bibs for your little ones. Great quality too! Save room and ask what they have for your littles. When a place caters to our children and helps make these tired parents lives easier, you can guarantee we will be back!

A wonderful weekend getaway with a beautiful view!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Galveston at this lovely condo. The view is breathtaking. The beach is just a short walk through the sand dunes. The property is quiet and set back from the road so you don't hear any street noise. The condo was clean and roomy enough for 4 people. We enjoyed playing some of the board games that were provided in the second bedroom closet. And it was just a short drive to all of the Galveston attractions like Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier, and the Rainforest Cafe. I highly recommend this property and we hope to come back again for another stay! Note: The wifi log in and password is provided, but in order to access the internet, you also need the owner's Xfinity login and password which was not provided, so we weren't able to connect to the wifi during our stay. But that's no big deal when you're in such a lovely place. We all need to "disconnect" every once in awhile! :)

I will start off by saying that the kitchen was clean and orderly. We had all of the necessary utensils and plates, etc. Other than that the condo was way below expectations. Patio furniture was so rusted and dirty we could not use the table and chairs to eat outside. The entire inside of the condo had a moldy musty smell that Mr. West blamed on the upstairs condo having a leak, but the smell of mold was horrible, almost sickening. The floors and carpets were so dirty that the bottom of our feet were black soon after a shower. The bunk beds were very rickety and had one ladder that was broken and no ladder for the other. Luckily we had beautiful weather and we were able to be outside a lot. Based on the condition of the condo, we believe that we should be reimbursed for a portion of the rental cost and the cleaning fees. Please respond.

Gorgeous home; gorgeous view; great property manager

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hangout! The apartment is beachfront - really beachfront - and the views are amazing. The home is furnished beautifully; modern, clean, not cluttered at all. Kitchen is well-equipped and, even though compact, easy to work in when prepping a meal. Bedrooms are separated with individual baths, so very private for a couple with children. John West is simply amazing to work with: responsive, quick to act; answers his phone; solutions-oriented. We will use him every time we come to Pointe West! The beaches are the best in Texas - no cars allowed, so the place is pristine and you don't risk getting run over by a car while sunbathing; always a plus. The Pointe West Club and Restaurant (The Pointe) are outstanding. We never had a bad meal. In fact, while we typically cook on holiday, we loved the red snapper and the brisket tacos so much we went multiple times. Service is prompt and accurate, and the owners of the restaurant are also the hostess and chef. MaryAlice in the gift shop is a wealth of information and carries super cute Yellow Box shoes. I enjoyed visiting with her. We also appreciate that the owner had super high-speed internet since I needed to check in with work on occasion and needed to use Skype to make calls. We have AT&T mobile service and Verizon is the carrier of choice on this part of the island. We'll take a Verizon phone next time (advantage - our son works for the company). The Hangout is a perfect place to hand out for anyone who is in need of some serious R&R accompanied by a beautiful view. John is definitely the Best of the West. Thank you!

Beautiful condo!

Condo is clean, close enough to the beach with just a short trip down the walk. Beds were comfy & great communication. Elevator went out the day we arrived which was difficult for luggage but those things cannot be helped sometimes. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying at your condo. The beach was so clean but the pools were definitely not worth the cost. The lagoon pool was under construction and felt like bath water.

Great condo

We loved the location of Pointe West. The beach wasn’t too crowded and the condo was equidistant between 2 boardwalks for access to the beach. We liked being on the bottom floor because we only had one flight of stairs to walk, but the people walking in the unit above us was pretty loud. I’d rather deal with that then walking up to the 3rd floor though. Communication was great w/ a binder of info we needed to know. The property manager responded quickly to questions and fixed a minor issue we had. I didn’t like that the community had raised the wristband price to $25 per person after we booked. We only ended up going to the pool once and unfortunately the restaurant was still closed. There were plenty of meal options within about 15 minutes, which we didn’t mind. The condo was well stocked and we appreciated the provided towels. The balcony is large and we enjoyed the view and breeze in the afternoons and evenings. We also enjoyed the provided games. We didn’t have any tv/WiFi/elevator issues. The covered and reserved parking spot was great. We had a great time and would stay here again.
