We stayed at the Pumpkin House in Surfside Beach and absolutely loved it. The place is super clean, beautifully decorated, and just steps from the beach—no roads to cross. It had everything we needed: a well-stocked kitchen, beach toys, comfy beds. The views of the ocean and lake from the balconies were amazing. It’s peaceful, perfect for families, and the hosts were great. Would definitely go back!

Perfect Beach Getaway at the Pumpkin House!

Our family had a wonderful 4th of July vacation at the Pumpkin House! The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Its location was unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sun and sand every day. The owner was very responsive and took care of a couple of small issues quickly and professionally. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return for another stay. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay

The Pumpkin house is so clean and organized. We love how it was decorated, how close it was to the beach, and that the kitchen had everything we needed. The coffee and tea stations were an added bonus. Thanks for a wonderful first stay in Texas.

September 2024 stay

We had a family of all ages and the house was very accommodating for all of us! It was very clean and cute decor with a very close walk to the beach. Fenced in yard for our small pets. We would definitely stay here again!

Easy beach access. Host was always quick to communicate and answer any questions. Home had everything you need. Fenced yard was great for my dog.

Excellent Choice!!

My husband, daughter & I along with our Golden Doodle stayed 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. The house was absolutely perfect! They thought of everything when stocking the house! Coffee, creamer, tea, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels & beach towels were all provided. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you would need to cook meals at home. The owner answered all of my questions and checked in on us during our stay. Fenced in yard for our dog made it so easy to let her out before we were ready for her long walks. Thanks for making us feel so welcome! We will definitely be back!

A wonderful vacation property

This property is obviously well cared for and maintained. The description is accurate and the owners are easy to work with. They obviously want to make sure you enjoy your stay! It is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The location has easy access to the beach. It has a very nice deck with shade in the afternoon.

Great vacation

Everything was great about this rental. The location was awesome and the house had plenty of kitchen tools to use. Enjoyed the beach chairs and toys that were stored to use so we didn’t have to bring a lot with us.

Beach getaway

This property was truly delightful. Its location was superb, offering convenience and accessibility to nearby attractions. Fantastic get away for a family

We really enjoyed our stay at the pumpkin house. It is well organized with everything in it’s place and where you expect it. Great for a large family vacation. It is right on the beach and has plenty of room for entertaining.

Great location and clean

Our group loved the pumpkin house. The location was perfect very short walk to the beach. We spent a lot of time down stairs at the picnic table cooking and hanging out. The breeze from the ocean was amazing and made being outside very nice in 95+ degree weather.

Great Beach Getaway

Fresh, clean, and quaint! We enjoyed our stay and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials for cooking. Pioneer woman utensils. We were very thankful for the "magic filtered water" from the fridge. I liked the outside shower head at foot level for sandy feet. Francisco is very attentive and professional. Thank you!

Fun Family time at the Beach

My husband and I had great family time with our daughters, their husbands and grand kids! The Pumpkin House was perfect for bringing the little ones as they loved the short walk to the beach, the outdoor shower and bunk beds! The amenities was spot on for the our stay! Family-Friendly Home Close to Beach

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It has absolutely everything you need to for a comfortable stay, plus some items for the beach. We had forgotten our beach chairs, but they had a tub of chairs available! Very short walk to the beach made it easy to go back and forth to our room with kids. There was a gorgeous view from the balconies as well. Plenty of room for 2 families with kids. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect place to getaway

Check in was easy and host was responsive. Loved the view of the water. Got to catch a beautiful sunset on the front deck right over the lake. The beach is so close we were able to use the provided beach chairs and hang out and could go back to the house for snacks and restroom breaks easily. Kitchen was well stocked and since we forgot shampoo and conditioner the toiletries were appreciated. Came with all adults this time but definitely want to come back with my nieces and nephew soon.

Home away from home!

I can tell you even on vacation I like the modern conveniences that you have when you're home.. The house was not only beautiful and comfortable, it had so many things that you would normally have to bring on vacation. Coffee, tea's, sugar, spices etc. It was definitely in walking distance to the beach and very convenient to local stores and restaurants. The family loved the decor and all the wonderful thoughtful touches that went in to this extraordinary beach house! We'll be back!!

Hi! I’m Francisco, my wife is Raquel, and we are the Ribeiro Family, a small family owner.

Raquel and I grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and have been living here in Texas for almost 10 years. I work as a support account manager and Raquel does the hard work taking care of our family, including our three beautiful children who are the reason for our lives.

We are super easy-going and positive people who are open to new cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. In our free time, we like to explore new places, travel, and learn about local cultures.

Aside from speaking English, I am fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. I would be happy to have you as my guest and ensure that you have a great stay!
