Welcome to Himmelhaus Retreat — our cozy-luxury mountain haven tucked in the heart of the North Georgia mountains. Just eight minutes from downtown Helen, the Chattahoochee River, and Unicoi State Park, this retreat blends rustic charm with elevated comfort. Designed for families, couples, and friends, it’s the perfect escape for those craving warmth, connection, and unforgettable mountain moments.

Step inside and you’ll immediately feel the calm that inspired our name — Himmelhaus, meaning “Sky House” in German. Sunlight filters through vaulted ceilings and tall windows, filling the living room with a soft mountain glow. Cozy up by the flickering gas fireplace, stream your favorite movie on the 58” Smart TV, or simply unwind with a glass of wine while the firelight dances.

The luxury kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need — from an air fryer and quality cookware to a combo drip/Keurig coffee maker. Gather at the dining table for six or chat over breakfast at the bar for four. Every detail is designed for connection, from morning pancakes to late-night laughter.

• Right outside of the Primary Suite you will find a hidden closet library. Here little ones can sit and enjoy a tiny book in their own tiny space.
