Rivers Rest – Beautiful Riverfront Townhome in Downtown Helen

Finally, you have that time away, and you are looking to relax sitting on a porch listening to the river flow by and having a cup of coffee. Perhaps you are seeking the wonderful fresh smells of the mountains? Sit on the porch with friends and a glass of our local wine.

At River's Rest you have all the conveniences of home with plenty of living room seating, a gas log fireplace and a television on the mantel. The kitchen boasts of full size appliances, including a dishwasher. Choose the standard 12-cup drip or the Keurig one-cup coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer for convenience. The dining area has chairs for six guests with more seating on the porch at the pine table with benches. The rocking chairs, glider settee and tables are an Amish wood design. There is an electric grill, too!

The master bedroom features a king bed and a private bath with a walk-in shower and a jetted garden tub. The guest bedroom has a set of bunk beds with queen size mattresses on both top and bottom. The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower. With the sofa bed, this little gem will accommodate up to 8 people.

The upstairs porch has a hammock and two hanging egg swing chairs for relaxation.

A short walk puts you in the downtown area with many options for dining. The walk back to the property is a lovely path along the river. If you are planning all of these relaxing moments, then Rivers Rest is the place for you.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog. The pet fee that will be added to your reservation is $75 + tax. Only one dog weighing 70 lbs maximum is allowed.

‱ Access: The roads are paved all the way to the property. The driveway is not suitable for low profile vehicles.

Our weekend stay was wonderful for my daughter’s 13th birthday with friends. There was plenty of space to accommodate 6 guests. The property was nice and clean and we had no issues during our stay.

This place was amazing! The beds were very comfy and I loved that there were blankets everywhere. The hot tub was very clean! It is not advertised, but there is a TV in each bedroom! We saw a groundhog directly outside the stair window! We will stay again!!

Great stay in Helen!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at River's Rest. With little to no free parking in the Helen City limits, it was great to be within walking distance! We all enjoyed the river, teens and adults included. Highly recommend!

Comfortable cabin with river views

We very much enjoyed our stay at Rivers Rest Cabin. The first floor mudroom area was great for dropping dirty shoes. Kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. The bed configuration was great for our family. We spent a lot of time out on both balconies (2nd floor and 3rd floor have a balcony) watching the tubers. We would stay here again!

Great Girls Weekend Property

We had a very relaxing girls weekend trip. The property was in a great location, and a short walk to downtown. The hot tub, the gas fireplace, and the large bedrooms made for a cozy place to relax. We will definitely be back.

Magical Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The outdoor lighting added a magical ambiance and could not have been any better. The location of the property is very convenient to all the fun and especially tubing. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would highly recommend!
