The Space:

Welcome to the lake house! Enjoy gazing out onto Devils Lake from the wraparound deck, next to the firepit, or from the private covered hot tub. You'll be able to access the lake directly from the backyard, with a small dock that is perfect for launching a canoe or kayak. If you're coming back from the lake, just pull the room darkening shades closed and warm up in front of the gas fireplace. The downstairs living room features a foosball table, a comfortable sectional sofa, a bonus sleeping space, and direct backyard access. Fire up the private gas grill, or cook up something tasty in the full kitchen set up with full-size appliances (plus a dishwasher and lots of counter space). What are you waiting for? It's time to relax together.



What's nearby:

Enjoy the beautiful sites of Devils Lake! When you're ready to head further out, visit Lincoln City just over four miles away to comb for agates, discover the tidepools, and watch for whales out in the water. For local food, enjoy pizza at Otis Pizzeria, Wildflower Grill, and Blackfish Grill (all within three miles). Other nearby attractions include the Chinook Winds Casino Resort, Roads End State Recreation Site, Devil's Lake State Recreation Center, and the Lincoln City Outlets.

The House was clean but there were a few things that could have been cleaner. The toilet paper was awful. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There wasn't enough laundry detergent to do the laundry. When we got there we had to fold clothes that were in the dryer. One of the burners on the stove was out. TV was a little bit complicated for us because we've never streamed before. It would have been nice if they had some blankets. We really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub watching the birds but there wasn't any body soap in the shower downstairs so it was kind of hard to clean ourselves before we got in the hot tub. All in all it is a beautiful home that just needed a little bit more care.

Beautiful, calming, restful. Right on the lake teeming with wildlife. We spent hours watching and listening to the peaceful nature. The space was great for 5 people and the check-in/out was very easy. We were able to take paddle boards out to the lake and play for hours. The location was close enough to the city, but far enough away so we didn’t get caught up in traffic. We would definitely stay here again. Also, we have already recommended to our other family and friends.

House was nice. Septic alarm went off 5 times while there once at 2am. House is on lake but there was no lake usage from house. lots of lilly pads and grass. Would be hard pressed to use a kyak and not swimable at the location. Nice view of lake if thats what your looking for.

Great Spot but Be Aware

We’ve been to the house a few times before and have loved it. The lake is beautiful, the hot tub is great and the house is nice and fully stocked. What was not great was that it wasn’t as clean as in the past (popcorn and other dirt on the floor, hair in the shower and coffee left in the coffee maker.) What was the most difficult though is that there was construction RIGHT nextdoor which started really early and went all day into the early evening. It was disruptive and not a calming holiday. This would have been good to disclose to renters and it’s disappointing that it was not disclosed.

Great spacious vacation home on the lake

Comfortable home. Space for our adult children and their spouces and ourselves (6 people). We saw deer, ospreys nesting, herons, ducks, geese, carp & various birds. Well equiped kitchen. Height difference between wood and carpet caused minor stumbles.

Mid-Week Retreat for Couples

This was the perfect experience for our group and we will definately keep this place in mind when we return. The Lake House has beautiful views of the lake in the perfect location in a private little cove. We saw deer right in the yard and enjoyed watching the baby ducks and geese in the lily pads. The house has plenty of space to spread out and a huge deck to enjoy to sun and scenery. Check in was simple, the house was clean, and the location feels very safe. There are plenty of kitchen appliances and dishes to use but you may want to bring tinfoil, plastic wrap, storage containers or baggies to store leftovers. Either way, there is a Safeway right down the road if you need anything else. We had ample towels for using the hot tub and showering for our group and they supplied shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish soap, toilet paper, papertowels, etc. There is plenty to explore in Lincoln City and the beach is a very short drive away. This place would be a perfect location for a family reunion and kids would have a blast. We used our kayaks and enjoyed exploring the lake one afternoon. The dock is well kept and perfect for put in and take out. The lake is calm, mostly sheltered from wind, and beautiful. Checkout was simple and clean up request is minimal (take out trash, start laundry, start dishwasher, and lock up). In conclusion, this place was perfect and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Lincoln City or the Oregon Coast.

For a beautiful summer day All of the deck furniture was packed away some of it.I didn't even know where it was at or if it was even on the property. The fire pit had painted boards in it to be burnt which is bad for the environment. Remote controls and no batteries in them some of them. It just. Wasn't represented very well. Also, we got here an hour before checking and sat in the in the driveway. I'm waiting an hour to be able to go inside which was kind of ridiculous. They said that someone was in the house getting it ready and there was a polo. Nobody herear so I don't know why we couldn't have gone in but I could live with that.. The misrepresentation that I don't appreciate.

Great and relaxing

The stay was great, except-downstairs is very musty smelling, there was a big wad of human hair on the wall of the shower in the second bedroom upstairs and the shower-head does not work in that same bathroom. The door lock instructions are not explicit enough. They’re very confusing. Would love to return next year for our third stay, if those few things were improved.

Girls trip

This house was perfect. It was clean, and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed plus some. The location was great, close to town and gorgeous views. Hot tub was clean and ready to sit in when we arrived. The beds were comfy and the house had plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect space and location

We truly enjoyed our time at the Otis. Everything was clean and prepared when we arrived, hot tub was amazing and more then enough space for our group. Would definitely stay again.

Other than road noise from Hwy. 101 this place was peaceful, watching birds and enjoying the view of the lake.

Great stay!

This was our second time staying at this house and was wonderful as usual. Very clean, nice quiet neighborhood, kitchen nicely stocked with everything you need. 4 couples stayed 9 days and no issues with anything. Hot tub got a work out with everyone using it every night, no issues worked great. No one complained about the beds, all were well rested. We will definitely be renting this house every year when we come back to Lincoln City!

Doors leak water/ coffee pot moldy

Started out good. Then it rained. Basement sliding door leaked so much water you couldn’t be down there. Had to constantly wash towels so I could dry floor. Middle floor slider also leaked water. Then I went to make coffee for everyone and coffee pot was moldy in water reservoir. Had to clean that as well. Not the biggest problems I’ve had in my life, but how it was dealt with was even more frustrating. Called and texted 4-5 times. No call back. Texts just kept saying sorry we will have guest services get ahold of you. No contact has been made from them. Vacation is over. Didn’t feel like a vacation since I was constantly doing laundry and cleaning stuff that I shouldn’t have too. Might as well have stayed home and cleaned my own house!!???😁😁😡😡

Wonderful house for family fun!

We had a great Thanksgiving family trip to this property. The layout offered our group a number of areas for enjoying games and puzzles, TV, foosball, reading and visiting. We especially liked the dock, fire pit, and hot tub. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Great house with plenty of room!

We had a great time at the Chillside Lakehouse. There was plenty of room for all of us! The kitchen is so well stocked with just about everything you could need and the huge kitchen table that was great for meals and board games. The basement was great and the foosball table and jacuzzi were a huge hit! The only very minor complaint that I have is the dock. It was tough to get to and from the dock once in the water because of all of the lily pads in front of the dock
but, this did not keep us from exploring the beautiful lake in our kayaks! Overall it was a wonderful place to stay!

Lakeside House

The house was lovely and we loved all the wildlife that we all watched each day. Some suggestions for the new owner. You might want to warn people about the septic tank issues or rent it to less people. It was listed for 10 and we only had 8 people and the septic system filled up midway through our vacation with just the 8 people. Also, the curtains are so sheer that people staying downstairs have zero privacy. We brought extra blankets but had to hang them over the curtains for privacy and to block the morning light. The curtains also would not slide easily because the poles were too big for the curtain rings. So that was frustrating our entire stay. The kitchen was nicely stocked except for leftover containers which are always appreciated. Thank you to the new owner who was very attentive to the septic issue!!
