The house was very clean and well furnished. It’s in a nice location near the beach and Agnes Creek trail. After hiking and walking on the beach, it was nice to relax in the hot tub.

Beautiful area and property!! Parking can be a challenge if you don't have a small vehicle. I had a 15-passenger van, and I was able to park it in one of the parking spots, but it was a challenge. Looking forward to going back!

Our only issue was we were given the wrong code for check-in. Not a lot of fun trying to access the property in the pouring rain. However, the property manager was very responsive and sorted out the issue quickly.

We’re glad our team was able to get you settled quickly, though arriving in the rain made the check-in mix-up especially inconvenient. We’re reviewing our arrival instructions to help ensure the correct access code is provided from the start. We hope the rest of your stay at Driftwood Star gave you a chance to relax and enjoy the coast.

Very nice home in a quiet location, just a short drive away from access to the beach. Host was very communicative about the home and any issues we had. We did not have access to the washer since it was leaking, but the host was helpful with that and said they would refund us some money because of it. The main floor rug could use a wash :) A lovely stay overall!

We appreciate you choosing Driftwood Star and for the kind review. We're glad the quiet setting and beach access helped create a relaxed getaway, and that our team could assist when the washer was unavailable. We arranged a partial refund, have scheduled the washer repairs, and will have the main floor rug professionally cleaned. We’d love to host you again for more peaceful coastal time.

The place was just what we imagined! Clean, comfy, and perfect for our group of 8. The views were amazing from all the decks, the beds comfy, and the hot tub nice. You can hear the ocean while eating on the deck. So amazing! We loved the kitchen too. The walk to the beach is a bit longer that we thought because you have to navigate through some neighborhoods (about .7 miles), but you can drive there and be right next to the beach with no problem. We did have some issues checking in. We were told to use a code for the lockbox to get a key, but there wasn't one, so we had to get a different code for the door and it look over an hour to get in. We ended up going to the beach while we waited so it was fine. We didn't see any beach chairs or toys so if you want to play on the beach or sit, you might want to bring your own. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

We’re so glad Driftwood Star gave your group the relaxed coastal stay you were hoping for. There’s something special about sharing a meal with the ocean in the background, and we love that the home’s decks and gathering spaces made the trip memorable. We appreciate you noting the check-in mix-up and the beach setup; that feedback is valuable and will be considered with the owner for future enhancements. We’d be happy to welcome you back for another seaside getaway.

Fantastic Family Getaway!

This place was amazing for 2 families with kids! We had all the space we needed for kids to play and adults to relax. The kids room was a huge hit and they loved having access to the toys and games. The playground next door was clutch for letting bigger kids burn off energy while little ones rested or when parents were packing the car. Great place for families to stay!

We love spending time on the Oregon Coast. This property was amazing. Stocked well, Beds comfy. One small note - lights outside don't turn off in the entire neighborhood, so its pretty light in the main bedroom at night. We tend to sleep in complete darkness, so it took some getting used to. ( There are good blinds there, but the windows are large so not fully covered. On the other hand - large windows in the main bedroom provide incredible views during the day. Access to the beach - need to walk a bit, or drive a little.

Thanks so much for choosing Driftwood Star for your Oregon Coast stay. We’re glad the home’s comfortable beds and big bedroom windows helped highlight those coastal views — that open, peaceful feel is exactly what we want guests to enjoy. We appreciate the note about neighborhood lighting; we’ll add heavier blackout treatments and reassess window coverage so sleepers who prefer darkness are more comfortable. We’d love to welcome you back on your next trip to the coast.
