Kai Nalu, qui signifie «vague océanique» en hawaïen, est une belle maison située directement sur la plage de Waimea, entre le fleuve et la jetée historique de Waimea. Situé sur le côté ouest ensoleillé de Kauai, cette maison climatisée spacieuse et joliment meublée offre un cadre idéal pour vos vacances au paradis.

Admirez les vues spectaculaires sur l'océan (rehaussées par une vue fabuleuse sur Ni'ihau - l'île interdite) et regardez le soleil se coucher tous les soirs dans la mer depuis une plage de sable de charbon presque infinie. Faites du kayak dans votre cour arrière et profitez de la migration annuelle des baleines à bosse géantes (de fin novembre à avril).

Promenez-vous sur la plage à votre guise et s'il vous arrive de voir des étincelles vertes dans le sable, ce sont des cristaux minéraux appelés olivine. L'olivine de qualité gemme est connue sous le nom de péridot, pierre de naissance du mois d'août.

Deux vastes lanais donnent sur le coucher de soleil de Ni'ihau et constituent un endroit idéal pour savourer une tasse de café ou une boisson fraîche le matin et profiter de la vue fabuleuse.

Le salon est lumineux et confortable avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan. L'immense suite parentale dispose d'un coin salon et d'une vue tout aussi fabuleuse. La salle de bain principale a un sol en marbre, une douche en verre surdimensionnée et une baignoire jacuzzi avec vue sur l'océan La cuisine gastronomique a une table de cuisson d'îlot à gaz, des comptoirs en carrelage et tous les appareils.

*** Conditions d'annulation *** Les annulations pour les réservations entre le 1/6 et le 12/14 nécessitent un avis écrit de 90 jours pour le remboursement de votre dépôt initial moins des frais de traitement de 75 $ et des frais de réservation non remboursables de 50 $. Si le préavis écrit est inférieur à 90 jours, la totalité du dépôt initial est perdue. Si le préavis écrit est inférieur à 60 jours, le loyer et la taxe d'accise sont perdus. Les annulations pour les réservations effectuées entre le 15/12 et le 01/05 nécessitent un préavis écrit de 120 jours pour le remboursement de votre dépôt initial, déduction faite des frais de traitement de 75 $ et des frais de réservation non remboursables de 50 $. We had an incredible stay in Waimea. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked and we felt like we had a private beach, watching the sunset every night was a highlight and even though the water isn’t good for swimming our kids loved playing along the waters edges.The location is walking distance to a number of lunch and dinner spots great for takeout and it’s easy access to the Waimea Canyon. This area is not very touristy, more residential and quiet at night. Highly recommend for folks looking for an experience away from resorts and busy beaches.

This house was a very clean and had everthing we needed. We would recommend adding grab bars in the bathroom for elderly/disable. We would definitely come back for another stay.

Quiet location in a small town

Away from the tourist rush, but close enough to join any excursions you want to do. Lots of room on the lanai for group meals and games.

Beautiful Home

The property was well kept, very clean, quiet, beautiful beach to walk on, had everything we needed. Waimea is a nice quiet town with everything you need, grocery store, restaurants, shopping.

This VRBO was everything we hoped for and more! The location was unbeatable—right on the beach, with stunning ocean views and just a short walk to restaurants and shops. The place itself was even better than the photos. Super clean and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful Waimea

This house was perfect for us. We had plenty of room and our host thought of everything to make the stay a pleasant one. Many items were provided for us and we had all the tools needed to cook, grill, enjoy the beach, and just hang out on the back yard. Stores in the town were an easy walk away. Loved our visit.

Great location on chill part of the island

Outdoor dining area is great. The beach is not crowded at all. The house is spacious and offers a lot of privacy for each bedroom. The kitchen has all the utensils and pot/pans you need. But you will have to buy everything to cook with including oil, sugar, flour, and any baking stuff (baking soda etc).

The wonderful Kai Nalu House

This is a beautiful well kept property. 7 in our party and no complaints from anyone. Nice beach for walking, jogging, but you cannot swim there and even wading is difficult due to slope of the sand. Waema the town is only 3 blocks from the house with gasoline, 2 stores and various little shops and eateries. 1 bank and 1 credit union. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

My wife and I stayed at Kai Nalu with two of our adult sons and daughter-in-laws. It was very accommodating for our ohana gathering. We had 3 rental vehicles between us. There was plenty of parking for all. The kitchen and front room were big enough and well-equipped for family style cooking and meals. The washer and dryer were great and in use every day. Each couple had their own bathroom which was a huge plus. The location is excellent. Most mornings we gathered as a family on the backyard beach to watch the Kauai sunrise. Hearing the waves crashing on the beach morning and night added a touch of perfection to our vacation. Shopping, food and shave ice were all a short walk away. The neighbors on either side were very kind and friendly. For Kauai standards, this is a very large, roomy home. We didnt even have to use the 4th bedroom and bathroom. We were very pleased with our choice. If you're staying in Waimea, this is an excellent choice for family/large group accommodations. If i had to choose between the Waimea Plantation Cottages and Kai Nalu, I'd choose Kai Nalu every time! Mahalo!!!

Perfect location for a large family

This house was perfect for our large group of adult family members. There is plenty of room for everyone and a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen was great and had fabulous knives for food preparation. The only down side was that the air conditioning quit working. Fortunately there were several fans available to move the air around and keep it cool. I would book this house again.

Off the beaten path

House was great, neighbors were awesome. It’s not in your typical tourist zone and there is a shortage of good restaurants in the area. We stopped at Costco on our way in and picked up groceries, we cooked at the house several nights, the kitchen is well equipped and we fed 8 adults no problem. Only complaint the ice chest had no lid otherwise everything was as advertised.
