We loved our stay at this property. The place was perfect for a family of 4 and we loved that we could bring our dogs. Beautifully decorated and a great deck out back for relaxing with in what felt like a treehouse. Would definitely go back

We rented the cabin for our first wedding anniversary and it was the perfect little getaway. Everything was exactly as described and so relaxing. We had no issues with check-in or anything else.

Our stay was perfect. The cabin is close to the slopes, but far enough off the main strip that you get the peace and quiet of the mountain. It’s super spacious, with all the amenities you could need. We were only there two nights, but will absolutely be our go to now!

We had an amazing vacation staying at Timber Camp House in Wintergreen VA. The house was amazing - it was secluded - but it was also in the middle of Wintergreen - within walking distance of a nature trail and across the street from the pool. While we did go to the breweries and winery's, we spent a lot of time just sitting on the back deck enjoying nature and the beautiful woods around the house. On the deck there was a gas fireplace and it added to the outdoor ambience. The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen, and very comfy living room chairs and couch. I could not been happier and so was the family in staying at Timber Camp House and we will go back!!! 10 stars but VRBO will only allow me 5.

We just returned from a long weekend here in July 2026. We had 6 adults and 2 small kids and the house couldn’t have been any better for us. It was especially perfect for our kids (7 and 4 years old). The house was equipped with everything you could need/want. Bedrooms were all located on the first floor and living space was on the second level. The house had a hot tub and sauna on site and a short walk up driveway, there was a pool and playground. We were a very short drive to the main wintergreen lodge and short drive down the mountain to the breweries. Definitely recommend checking out Lake Monocan. It was a blast! We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again!

We had a great week at this home! Spacious, clean, comfortable. Brent was lightning-fast in replying to messages and had a property manager at the house within minutes when we had trouble with the sauna. Dining table is enormous, allowing ongoing jigsaw puzzles and board games at one end with plenty of room still for 6 people to dine. Decor was fun and colorful throughout the house. Location was great, right across the street from the community pool and within walking distance of some trails and easy driving distance of others. Hot tub and sauna were brand new and exceptionally clean. Outside areas were peaceful. We saw lots of deer and chipmunks. :) Our 2 dogs loved it! One note of caution: The deck railings are a bit widely spaced, so if you have a small dog, you'll want to contain them another way. Our smaller beagle was able to squeeze through the gate to try to chase a bird, haha.

When winter arrives, we trade the water for snow—hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and enjoying everything Wintergreen has to offer.
